This really makes me sad, I remember going to Carowinds/Kings Dominion when Paramount was there, I loved the Scooby-Doo rides, Runaway Reptar, Borg, Spongebob 4-D, Tomb Raider’s Volcano, Nickelodeon central, Hannah Barbara town, and along with the water parks that were there as well during that time. Honestly it’s just not the same anymore :(

Before Spongebob 4D it was Days of Thunder in the same theater with moving chairs etc, such great memories at Carowinds 😪 back in the day.

The old Great America was awesome. I'm glad I got to enjoy it as a kid especially with the Nickelodeon themed areas.

Paramount should definitely consider building their own parks. They could be serious competition against Disney and Universal.

Paramounts Great America was its best years for my childhood/teenage years. Top Gun was my favorite. Once Cedar took over the place went to trash. It’s a joke now and definitely not the same. Glad I still have those Paramounts Great America shot glasses! 🙌🏾 Six Flags Magic Mountain and Discovery Kingdom is now my go to for amusement parks. Never in my life would I ever have thought Marine World Africa/USA(Six Flags Discovery Kingdom) would be the more desirable spot over Marriotts Great America(Californias Great America) 🤔🤷🏾‍♂️

I live in Maryland and have visited Kings Dominion and loved the ride. One Paramount Park you missed was The Star Trek Experience at the then Las Vegas Hilton. When you entered the ride they had a short video and at the end it said welcome to Paramount parks.

Nice! Yeah, I made a creative decision to keep this documentary short and about the main parks most people were familiar with. I left out Bonfante Gardens and Star Trek: The Experience. I think there was also a park in Spain they managed too.

That's how I felt when going to King's Dominion in 2008 after not being able to go from late 2003-07 due to selling and building a house and seeing that everything started to change, Didn't notice it right away as the gift stores at the front of the park was always Nick focused but we had a walk of fame at the front for the famous movies that I saw was gone then noticed the movie title for the rides were changed
