That's not something that most of our lot are capable of doing regularly, so your comment about playing for a "top club" is nonsense. The only player we have at a top club is Kelleher, and he doesn't even start league matches for us because of Alisson. No other Irish regular plays at a top club, by your logic.

How would Norwich have done in Spain, Germany, Holland, Italy, Brazil, Argentina ? They would be have been dirt. And for all the sweet but few moments Wes contributed he had more than a lot awful touches which put the result in doubt. He didn't get a regular place because he just was not good enough on the balance of things to include. For all his good, it came with weaknesses. Jack Byrne got a try out as a Wes type. His slack pass cost us a goal. He will have to wait along time for another chance. Wes got chances, same as Andy Reid but his attitude did not help. (Andy's).

Lost two pints and my work shirt was ripped by strangers as we jumped about celebrating this goal. It was well worth it, what a moment, WHAT A MOMENT!!! Did ourselves proud against France too, which is saying something given they went on to win the World Cup in 2018.

The stadium was electric when that goal went in
I was there in the stadium. I was sitting looking at the penalty box line and had a great view of that goal. Will never forget the heat in that stadium but my god what a moment. For a few minutes our whole country was in heaven

from turkey. while being at the edge of guaranteeing to go euro 2020 on these days, i found myself here. if this goal wouldnt get scored, turkey would be among best thirds and continue to tournament from top 16, drawing with wales, which is relatively easier than many of the other top 16 teams. Hopefully these experiences can be helpful to do any better in euro 2020. ( if we guarantee first )
about irish friends, they will host denmark on the last match of the fixture at 2020 qualifications. Seems that its gonna be another historical match for them, i guess ireland are having this type of historical matches since henry's handball.

I was watching the match outside of a pub, I was living in Turin at the time. When Brady scored basically all people went home, as if they thought "well, they deserved and we dont need to win, let's go to sleep"
