Me too 🥰
Super👌the balance one can keep in fridge for next day?
It's better to use one time since we have added grated coconut but you can store within 1-2 days. Before cooking the Appam place the batter outside at least 30 minutes out of the fridge for better result.
Very slow and clear video hats off mam

Amma yewwelevu nerem oore vaikke wendum arisiyei?
Hi! For the rice you need to soak them prior for a about a few hours at least 4-8 hours for best result when fermenting after blending into a paste form. Hope this helps you out!

Hi...where can we get the aapam chatty amma?
Hi! You can get it at Indian Cash and Carry or Online. I bought mine At Batu Caves, KL, Malaysia.
what kind of rice are you using please
Hi! We're using just normal white rice.
May i know the brand of this pan?
Hi! We're using Premier brand here from India.
@@AmmaSamayalFoodChannel thank you!
Is it young coconut water?
Either or can be used 😄
How many appam can get in this recipe?
Hi! Less then a dozen ye 😄
Sis can I have muruku recipe. Tq
Hi! Sis, Normally we use Baba's brand Murukku mix. Do try out this brand dear.
Sis I tried this but aappam too sour..why sis. The texture all nice but the taste only sour
Hi! Batter sourness depends on the fermentation process including several other factors, eg. Room temperature, type of rice being used and the time taken to ferment the soaked mixture and the batter. To much of fermentation may also result in noticeably more of the sour taste.
If there's no coconut water, can I substitute for plain water
It's essential to use coconut water as it's a part of the authenticity of making Appam batter but you may use water as substitute.
How to store this mavu ...
Hi! The batter can be store in fridge for 1-2 days.
Sis I want ask a tip for muruku. Can I do with this Brand rice flour (Cap gajah). Pls advice me n tq.
Hi! Sis, Normally we use Baba's brand Murukku mix. Do try out this brand dear.
❤❤❤
Thank you 🥰
Hi sister I tried your method of making the appam, but sorry to say I can't get fluffyness of the appam tq
Thank you for your feedback. That's a shame but many have tried and the end result was wonders, you may see the testimonies in the comment section. I hope you tried out the recipe again with precise following. Good luck!
I think you can advise her nicely instead of using the words" that's a shame" ...not appropriate. Practice makes perfect. Even when you started to cook in early stage also i believe there is a mistake too..
My turned out pretty ok only but not satisfied since the middle one still like glue/sticky whereas the side all turned pretty well.pls help wat can possibly be😢
Hi! Please adjust the heat to fully cook and also lid to cover the Apam Pan plays a role too in cooking the middle part.
How to do the milk
Hi! Do check out the description for the milk recipe ye.
Why is so fluffy inside and brown outside I am telling you this is not how appam should be made😊
Hi! Thank you for your feedback. Everyone has their preference and taste ❤️
👏
Thank you 🥰
Cheriga akka💖
🥰
👌👌👍
Thank you 😁
It didnt comes well for me😢. But my pan is not non-stick pan. Mine normal. Fire i kept low thaan(only middle part). The appam at side all sticked to pan so difficult to take out
Oh, no... I'm sorry dear. Normally, I pre-heat the pan and then I lower the heat. It's kinda like seasoning the pan before use for it to be non-stick. I hope this explanation helps you out. Thank you for the attempt on trying out the recipe 😍
I buy new Chatti have any method to appam not stick sister
Hi! Make sure the chatti is hot enough from the heat. Good luck!
😋😋😋
😄
Superr Apsm
Thank you 🥰
Supeer
Thank you 🥰
Tried but it doesn’t work..followed everything but batter came out bad - was not runny, it turned sticky and like bread dough
Hi! Thank you for your feedback on your attempt. It's a inconvenience when it didn't work as you expected. Base on what you have explained I see the issue here is the batter not in the right consistency. You must thoroughly soak the rice mixture for a smooth blending process and also you must blend into the right texture for the batter work. Bread dough like seems there's not much water incorporated into the batter hence your attempt failed. Do practice and try out again. You may see the review/ testimonials of our loyal supporters/viewers whom tries out the recipe and it worked for them wonderfully in the comment sections here. I wish you the best on your next attempt. Thank you 🥰
@@AmmaSamayalFoodChannel thanks for the reply ill try again in a couple days time
