Aapam became very hard. I usually don’t use idly rice for appam. Not sure if that caused hardness. It was such a disaster. Wish I had used only raw rice as I do always

Just buy soda. Soda is carbonated water. They do sell those machines which make soda but its easier if you just buy a bottle of kinley or dukes soda.
