Hey gang, it’s Justin from Destination again hanging out inside the new 2022 Kia EV6 and today is the first opportunity I’ve had to check out the self-parking features. Let's see how this thing works, it’s really wild, it’s going to park itself, alright, let’s see how It functions.

I would have parked my car and done all my shopping by the time this car parked itself lol. Still a cool option for those people who struggle a lot with parking in tight spots.
Excellent video, I just got my EV6 AWD a few days ago and this makes it so much easier to try the parking as the online manuals are a bit confusing ( also glad you tried it out first)!
I have this in my older car. Never use it because I don't wanna be a jerk. It parks like a new driver & it's annoying. Looks like the tech hasn't improved since several years ago.
Agree with you. I had it in my Mk6 VW Golf 9 years ago. Used it only to show my kids "dad has magical powers". 😂

Love the video! One question... it showed on one the screens you were on that you could have done that parking job from "outside the car"? Can it be done?
when I went for a test drive I didn't try this but I have seen it done to get out of a tight parking space - when someone parks too close! Cool.

If only the NY DMV would allow this most people would pass all their parking situation

2.50 ' for parking? seriously?
My 2015 Chrysler 200 had this same feature, and my 2020 Lincoln Corsair has it also. Both cost much less than the Kia’ s msrp with no dealear markup.
Chrysler and Lincoln are made in Detroit. In California, 99% of people would never buy a Detroit car. It's all Honda, Toyota, BMW, Audi out here.
When you push the park button and held it you should’ve shown it

Dang it's really slower than I thought it should be, I mean this tech has been for long and if this the level of improvement..... Then yes I'm glad my didn't offer it with an increase of price bit.

Sorry, love the EV6 but that was extremely slow and lousy parking. Who would ever use that feature!?

Looks to much like a Tesla not sold on it
In this state, it's useless. KIA should improve the software to do this task in way less seconds and moves. If it could be done faster than a human would normally do, it would be awesome. I would even be okay with driving slowly if it only required a single steering action.
