Wow! I bought an armoire here for $1600 only to find that I couldn't get it thru the door to the room I wanted it in. It takes 4 men to move it and now I can't even give it away because nobody wants stuff that big.

@@BarbaraatQueensAvenueTarot ive been watching a lot of the chateau channels and in one they were explaining that they come apart very easily. Usually the top part comes off First? I’ve seen them take apart and put together a few on Steph’s channel. Have you looked into this?
I cannot express enough how much I am amazed at the beautiful work Ed has done in transforming this wonderful chateau. As I watched this video I remembered seeing Ed, as he laid every tile in the garden and cleared the land, planted grass all himself. The endless work on the kitchen, and, actually the entire house, with Ana there supporting him all the way. The Chateau Lagorce is now as magnificent as it was in the beginning of its life. Thank you for sharing this transformation with us! We look forward to seeing from time to time how she does as an Air B&B. Good luck! 😊
This is exactly what I wanted to say, including cleaning the floor in the foyer. It is finished so tastefully and I’m sure it will be full all summer.

I think that is what makes it so extra special. We saw the enormous work that was involved and it just seemed impossible for one person, but he did it! He is a very hard working guy. Every inch of this property you guys have put your hands into. When I saw you guys sell the last property I couldn't believe it, because it too was so beautiful but I guess you all saw the future for this one. Well done!!!

Such an unexpected treat to see the Passion Project set up as a home. After all the heartbreak of maybe selling, I bet you enjoyed this Anna. I hope Airbnb works out successful for you ,and that you can keep it long term.

WHY would anyone, who doesn't know them personally, complain about their putting chairs in Their entryway? That shocked me more than the price of the armoire! How many men think we're ready to go, only to be kept waiting "one more minute" by the wife's last minute, can't wait, almost there? I'm sure he thinks "If I sit here by the door with my coat on looking dejected, she'll understand, no sense getting comfortable because she will blame me for not being ready or wanting to go!"😂

From weddings,honeymoons,this is so much more. Hoping you have a huge success,you both have truly worked hard to transform this beautiful architectural mansion.
I saw you purchase those beautiful chairs. Wow. That mirror is stunning. The armoire was perfect for that area! May people hang their coats there? The dining room is so pretty with what you have selected for furnishings. Your children are beautiful! The set of 7 matching seating pieces looks so good in that room! The rug is a masterpiece and the table on it goes well with its marble top. The decorative pieces around the attractive fireplace look great there. I love the Bordeaux print and the painted chest under it is quite attractive. You have created a beautiful room! And now we are in an entertainment room with an unusual pool table. The red bedroom looks luxurious with so many pieces of pretty furniture. The next bedroom is cozy and attractive. I like the bathroom floor tile. The next bedroom has a huge 4 poster bed, the black lacquer chest was perfection, and the bathroom was inviting. In the next bedroom, I recognize the matching chairs in the off-white fabric from a shopping adventure. I also remember the bed ensemble, so wished you two would purchase it, and much to my surprise, here it is. It fits this room really well unlike the previous owner's room. The bed does go well there. The last bedroom has the two pretty chairs that were in the entrance hall and even more pretty furnishings. The building's facade is very attractive.
Edd didn’t miss a beat @ 20:30, when Anna exclaimed the beauty of the room, and Edd decided she meant him. 😂😂😂😂 PS: Edd, don’t forget to wear your back support when you go to hang the other chandelier. No one wants you hurting yourself. The chateau is stunning. Best of luck with the renters.

We use the chairs in our entryway all the time while waiting on each other to finish getting ready to head in to town. That setting looks very nice.

In the USA, the billiard table can be converted to a ping ping table using the cover for the table.

Every time you say “commode” I chuckle because in America a commode is a toilet. We call your commode a chest of drawers, or Chester Drawers for short.
In the UK a commode is a chair with a 'pot' within, hidden below the seat base, so not far off what it is where you are, so its strange what the French call it, given they're so close to England .
That furniture with drawers is called a dresser here in California. I've heard it also referred to as a press, which makes sense. The clothes look pressed after being stored in them.

Yes. I laugh each time he refers to those as a commode. Here, its a piece of furniture, typically a chair that conceals a chamber pot. Maybe his dressers have a concealed chamber pot in a drawer ( ready to pull out for a quick sit). 😂

It is absolutely spectacular!!! Edd and Anna, you make the ultimate team and when it comes to design, you're astronomical!! The salon!!! OMiGOSH wow 😳 complete total magical magnificent transformation!! IT'S A COMPLETE ROOM!!! It's all spectacular but imo the salon is as close to perfection as possible, everything just flows together, my fav I think but next to impossible to choose 😄 The truest test of your design abilities is the dining room,... I am not a red person at all, tiny accents... ok, I thought the design was awesome before, beautiful aspects, like the little armchair but a bit um bright, but you made it all impossibly SUBTLE as a whole 🤯 and the almost garish red became a soft yet spectacular background that cradles all the richness of the wood tones contrasted with the creams,.... I love the table AND the chairs, such a soft, subtle richness that whispers in a deep voice with an Antonio Banderas turn "Look at me, if you dare." rather than screaming LOOK AT ME and has miraculously made a believer out of me that red does indeed have a place in design 🤣🤣🤣👏😁 VERY well done Edd and Anna!!! 🥰🥰❤️

The hall is a really great welcoming place. The chairs (that fabric is terrific), tables, and armoire as well as the view to the end is really wonderful. Love everything you've done, it looks super. So glad you have a pool cover. Not only for safety but it will be a huge help when not in use to help keep the pool clean.

You need to remove those weeds from the front wall and paint the arms of the gate mechanism as it really looks bad and brings down the 'wow' of this property. First impressions are everything and it looks old and bad out front on the street.
That's the first thing I noticed from the start.
To be fair both of those have been niggling me for a while, I just haven’t had time to sort them out….

WoW-Ouch! Bossy! Your observations legitimate or not could be delivered in a more polite way. Geez. The amount of love, sweat, time, and money that these lovely people have invested into this property is astounding and should be celebrated. The gates hardware not being painted does not lessen the luxurious, high end feel that Ed and Anna have achieved breathing new life into this beautiful home and property. Congratulations Ed and Anna!

Loved everything. The furniture, paintings, all the bedrooms and the choice of colors on the fabrics, curtains, beds and sofas. Maybe you could rent it to a Foreign Diplomat and could become either an Embassy or the Residence of the Ambassador. ❤❤❤

It all looks sensational. The only thing I would aim to change up later in would be the stark ultra modern four poster bed, as it is so contemporary…if you find an antique it would really look great. Sorry to be critical. As i love this house and am delighted you did note have to give it up.. great jib Edd.

You have some beautiful pieces of stunning furniture, paintings, decorations, and they're really unique. Those fireplace mantles look like they're made of Marble? Everything is so well put together. If I may give a suggestion: put a hedge in front of the pool. The pool i visible from the gate, anyone passing by can see it, and it would not feel private for everyone using it. Something chest high should be good.
also neighbors can see the pool area from their 2nd floor.

Pool table with cover could be table tennis. You just need to buy a net and paddles, which are cheap. We used to use our kitchen table, our net just screwed on, very fast. Place looks great, drooling over all the furniture for sure!!
You have both done a wonderful job it looks marvellous. First impressions of the street view get rid of the weeds and wash down walls would make it complete. Good luck.

Love the Victoria chair update. I have two of these and they are in storage. What a great idea to put gold on them and modern print. The passion project is wonderful.
