The last BBC we had on the rollers was a 572 with something like a 280/300 .790/.770 at 111 and that thing sounded like the world was ending lol. Of course it also didn’t make power until ~4000 RPM. Once it came on though it was a monster. This setup here seems like it would be much better for a fun street/strip setup.
When i was a kid my dad was nuts. Instead of a leaf blower ge would just rev his malibu and blow all the leafs away. Seeing all the boxes flapping around brought back memories
I’ve commented before on this car but damn, the quickness of that rev from a tad above idle just lets you know this is a complete rabid animal. Seriously, that’s not your normal stroked bbc or any make of engine either. It takes talent, money, and most importantly…BALLS. This guy is like me with my engines, cranking it up around a crowd and idling off down the street lets everybody else wishing they had the stones to build a nasty engine and actually drive it on the street from time to time. I watch this in the morning just to get the energy to make coffee!

I had put those round purple reflectors in the center, and it glowed red & purple on the brake lights. Wish I knew what happened to that car. I sold it to "Deals on Wheels" in 1986 in Ft. Lauderdale, on Oakland Pk.Blvd, I think. The next time I saw it, he had painted SS on the fenders and did the interior white from black. He was asking 5k for it, I sold it for 2k.
Nice wheels dude...she sounds awesome as hell...I had a buddy back in the day (early 70's) who had a Nova with a hot rodded 427 L87...it sounded like that...4.88:1 gears...she'd absolutely light up the tires in all 4 gears with 60's series street tires of the day.
