It seems so easy when you play this. Your hands are simple dancing on the keys. I always start your videos ‘reading along’ with the music. And I end with simply watching your hands and enjoy listening. 🤗 Superb upload Paul! 🎶🌺

I want to learn this beautiful waltz. Thank you for uploading, Paul ! Your video are the best for learners like me. We can see both the notes and your fingerings so clearly. Of course, your interpretations are always excellent! I am an old man but new learner. You are my idol. 👍👍👍
@@OlderG0ds I would say that this one (op. 64 no.2) is more difficult. While minute waltz is more ‘rapid’ it’s not quite as technical. Once you practice either one enough though, you realize that neither are as difficult as you thought they were when you first started learning them. Chopin’s waltzes are my favorite to learn because they sound complex and beautiful
@@RockinTheDub That's quite awesome to hear as I've just finished learning this waltz and have been really wanting to play minute waltz but didn't know if I can
Last year I picked up piano lessons after a 20-year break. This is one of the pieces my tutor taught me. I find it very beautiful but challenging at the same time. Thank you for this new rendition. I love your piano tone.
I see those 3, 4 and 5 fingers hard at work! Great piece showing how knowing scales and chromatics can help! Thank you for sharing. Great videos and great skill!
Your way of recording this, and many other videos, where you can clearly see the hands on the keyboard and the sheet music is amazing! That's really so helpful to all of us who are in the process of learning the piece. Thank you very much and I wish you all the best! 🙂
Wow what a world we live in where anyone can print, such masterful scores for free and affordably own a piano in their own homes, and have the resources to watch and learn to play... available to all... peace :)
I plan on purchasing my first acoustic piano in the coming months, and lately I've have been back and forth between the Kawai K500 and the Feurich 133. Mr. Paul sure does an excellent job of making the Feurich sound wonderful, but I'm sure almost any piano would sound good under that playing :)
You make it look so easy! This piece has been in my mind for years (i've learned it completely) but my fingers have never played it that smoothly ... :(
Hermosas notas !!! Me encanta porque me recuerda al escucharla, un hermoso paisaje, un gran camino con hojas cayendo y una linda brisa tocando mi rostro...un saludo desde México!!
I had to think about that for a while too :D in the beginning of this measure, the "f" had a double sharp which had to be resolved. I must admit that this is the first time I'm seeing this ever, and I've been playing for 15 Years now...
What on earth is the Flat/sharp notation in measure 3? Drove me crazy. Is it f natural and g sharp? Paul is playing f sharp and g sharp. Which is correct?
Paul, Do you have any advice on how to learn pieces faster? I don't have to think to read music when playing with one hand, but I find that my progress for completing pieces is slower than I'd like. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
Paul Barton is a really good pianist and good piano teacher.Do you believe or not , when Paul plays piano , not only the human being but also the animals like the elephants can sit down and listen to him .Thank you and good luck Paul.
В музыкальной школе за такое исполнение поставили бы высшую оценку. Но много мест не дослушанных, не выдержаны продуманные паузы, по чувствам немного суховато...
I’m guilty of this as well lol (because I don’t know how to read sheet music). With this song in particular, I feel like it’s much easier play with whatever fingering you’re comfortable with
@@RockinTheDub it's only a guide. There's no correct way as such. It's there to help and provide a starting point. Everyone's hands are different so its whatever you can manage really.
The musical sounds that resided in Chopin's head must've been beyond magical!

I have always love this C# minor Chopin Waltz. Love the contrast in the minor and major key section.

congratulations! I started working through it a few days ago
I love the simplicity of this piece. I plan on learning it soon. Congrats on your achievement and happy playing!

@@PaulBartonPiano Well Paul, if you say this then you are right.
Paul, would love to hear about your piano teachers when you were younger and your inspirations!

You have helped me so much with reading music just by watching you play and seeing the sheet music at the same time. I love the way you play the piano
beautifully voiced left hand, especially during the piu mosso section.
As a metal guitarist i have to recognize that piano and Chopin are the best thing on earth.

This was the 2nd waltz I learned in full after “minute waltz”. I’ve been obsessed with it ever since! I’m so glad Paul uploaded!
Which ones harder? I know this already but minute waltz looks tough to me. (Mainly for speed and movement of the right hand)

Wow. That's good, to say the least.
How much time do you need to play a piece that smooth like this from sheet music?
A month is sufficient sight read, familiarise with the notes and play from memory. Many more months to 'master' the piece.
Veo que estás mejorando
Uno técnicamente porque eso no te falta sino musicalmente (igual hay algunos acentos demás. 👍🎩😎
