Playing the piano and watching the score passing over is a very unconventional way of teaching a little piano, as I just saw in your breathtaking video. I started taking piano lessons when I was 16 years old. Only a madman! Of course, after a few dozen lessons I gave up (fortunately...). In fact, I couldn't stand the solfeggio and had to join the bass clef with my left hand with the treble clef with my right one. However, I still remember the meaning of all the notations in the pentagram. These put together make me cry (with tears and all) when I hear something like the beautiful sounds that your skilled fingers produce. With some humor after all, the loose of salt in my tears helps an old man to keep the blood pressure steady... Congratulations, Paul Barton! Bravo! Bravissimio! Arcibravo!

I believe with Hanon to warm up and 10/2 to add diversity to the repetitiveness of Hanon, I very well will be on my way to sorta play the runs more evenly and perhaps even faster! The swing in the left hand gave that joyful Winter underlying tone. Right hand sounds quite mechanical in terms of the pace.
Chopin's fantaisies are actually more ephemeral by their nature. Somewhat sweet yet fugacious.
If you study Kissin's interpretation, the left hand is actually more in the background sound and is more fluctuating in its dynamics. The right hand is technically dancing and not too excessive on the accents. Another trick is to perform a forte-piano cross-over between the left and right hand at certain crescendo junctions, which will express more variations in the interpretation. A trick to this is to imagine the left hand playing the violin portion and the right hand as a configurative dancer.
