I think it was mentioned in the video but the trails we are riding are multi use (trials, MTB, hiking). Hit me up if you are interested in one in BC!
As soon as I saw the EM bikes on RUclips I wanted one. Curious to know how much and what the support system is like. Love your channel by the way! Thanks for all the amazing content. 👊😎
What do you mean and by how much and what support system?
@@remymetailler I think he means - why doesn't the importer show the prices on the website.
Such an amazing day Rémy, cheers for the opportunity bud !!!
Anytime! stoked to ride more!
What an amazing teacher Remy is yoann done really well Moto trials is not an easy thing to learn in a short amount of time
Yoann is talented, but these bikes are easier to ride than the gas ones.
@@remymetailler yeah definitely any gas bike is but a trials bike that’s a different kettle of fish 😂😂
Loved this! In my mid-50's have expanded from mtb to e-bikes and moto, now I need a trials bike!
You should!
Definitely a cool extra way to enjoy trails and outdoor spaces. It’s rad how much you can enjoy a small area with trials. I do enjoy that emoto are nearly silent quiet compared to gas bikes. Keeps the peace in the forest.
Sad about any negative comments on the other ebike videos, we loved them and think it’s a super valid and enjoyable part of mountain biking now.
Thank you
This is so good! Love moto and mountain bike trials! Yoann caught on very quickly as expected. Looks like awesome trials terrain. Remy, you look very comfortable on that EM. Great splatters and riding. More emtb and trials content please.
Hey Remy and Yoann I love watching videos you guys put out! Its so cool to see you guys doing a new sport too because it reminds me of when I was first learning how to mountain bike on what I use to think were scary slabs in Squamish. But after riding a lot and watching your videos I've learned to ride with so much more control and confidence. Thanks to both of you for being such great teachers!
He is so excited to learn new things! That is awesome and it shows.
This was so much fun to watch!
Remy is an excellent teacher! I'm a subscriber mainly for this reason and secondly for the beautiful settings in the videos. ❤
Wow, thank you!
This is awesome! Never seen trials m-bike stuff like this!
Yoann having a good time is awesome to watch :D
Probably my two favorite influencer . Riding motos and ebikes couldn't be happier. Probably gonna hurt all kinds of suffer feelings 😂😂
I love my EM trials. Sooooo fun!
More of this. Love to see the Pro riders trying different sports.
Looked like a lot of fun 🤘
heck ya! trials is the best!!! Those bikes look like a blast! Tho I think I like the sound of my montesa better! ALSO! what a novel concept sharing the trails is! Wish we could manage that in the states! What a rad looking playgound!
2 stroke sounds but the performance of the electric is so cool
I see many people trying to claim theses and Others (Surron) are “Ebikes”. Thank you for the clarification that this is an eMoto.
Great video.
Glad it was helpful!
wild how quickly Yoann was able to pick it up. Looks like a great time
Man this is wholesome. Great to see a 1:1 video with you two crazy Frenchies!
More to come!
I love it when highly respected mountain bikers open peoples minds to the world of moto. The bike skills translate and the moto community is much more positive and supportive, from my experience. On moto, the ups are fun, the downs are fun, and the mid is fun. Win, win, win.
Well said!
Best intro in the business!
Watch the new one I did for my latest video!
Really fun
whiskey throttle on a trials bike makes for lots of laughs, and nice crashes.
I do think e-moto trails bikes will be the one of the first moto styles that utilizes e-power in a successful manner.
Es increible la poca relación entre buen contenido y likes!!!
Un 10 Remy
Looks like a load of fun 🤙
Class Remy! Don’t let anyone define or pigeon hole you.
Great video. I recently purchased a KTM Freeride EX-C but was tempted by the EM. Your video made it clear to me why one "needs" a clutch on an electric trials bike from watching you ride the EM - instant removal of power without the braking drag. The 75 KG of the EM vs 110kg of the KTM must be very nice.
Glad it was helpful!
I get scared going off road on a mountain bike, when im on my EM I have little fear riding what im comfortable with. Its nice to see the reverse you guys fly down insane tracks without a motor and yet initially you are uncomfortable on a Trials bike. Somehow I don't think it would take long for you to get the hang of it, great video on a great bike.
Thank you!
Sick!
Remy is such a good teacher, I would pay him lots of money to give me mountain bike lessons! :D
Great bikes!
Glad you like them!
Very cool 👍
Thanks for the visit
Thank you for all the cool videos 👍
Toni Bou! El pilot d’Honda!
this was cool
you guys are awesome. thanks for the info, i was always curious if there were any transferable skills from the trials world to the mtb world.
For sure a lot transfer!
Looks like a good time.
It’s mountain biking just the other direction haha
Man, this has me fired up to try / learn something different. Major FOMO! 🤣
These are so fun. Perfect trail building tool for acces!
@@remymetailler good call, I hear we have some great zones on the island too. Maybe you’ll have to bring yours next trip!
Nice EMOTO Remy!
Thanks! 😁
I've always found it super strange that in some countries, it's more common to have the front brake on the left when all motorbikes have it on the right.
Been wanting to get an electric trials bike, they look super fun.
It depends on which side of the road people drive
@@remymetailler do motorbikes in right hand drive countries have the front brake on the left?
nope@@davefellows
@davefellows no, because if the clutch was on the throttle side it would be very hard pull it and twist the throttle at the sametime, I got a trials bike 2 years ago but have been on mountain bikes all my life, I ride right front brake on the mountain bike.
@@obscured021 yeah, that's my point. Would've thought they'd keep mountain bikes consistent with that. Awkward if you ride pedal and motor and front brake is on different sides.
The animals in the forrest hear Joann's laughter and say, sounds like he has a new toy.
Looks like fun! Yoann... you for Scuba?
What mtb do you use?
I'd be interested to know if you would go back to a gas bike? and do you find the high pitch of the engine annoying over time? Great content as always and well done for introducing an awesome crossover sport to your channel.
The sound is definitely not annoying to me. Quite fun even. I keep my gas bike for now but I have not used it since.
Thanks, we look forward to some more 'trials gnar' in the future.@@remymetailler
@@remymetaillerwhat sort of range/battery life do the electric Moto trials bikes have?
How do I get one of these in the Vancouver area???
Can you send me a message on Instagram? I'll connect you with the importer.
ok these bikes got a clutch, but what happens if i am going very slow on a higer gear and i throw my clutch does the Emoto stall ?
these Emotos really makes sense in the trails eh ? no smoke no idling motor noise fantastic
these bikes don't have gears, just 3 mappings according to your ridestyle. the clutch on these is used to build up momentum and better controll of the powerband. and to your question; no they can't stall, hence why there's a killswitch.
cheers
@@sxndrxf4510 oh so its only to connect disconnect to the mmmm drive shaft ?
No you can not stole. The clutch is here to help you control the moto.
Can you demo this Trial e-moto? If so where?
the teaching was very good
Thanks
What is the weight of this trials eMoto?
75kg
great for getting away from the local bears 🤓
Good example why the U.K. has it right with MTB set up Moto style by default.
I wish I had learned MTB, moto style...
Even though I'm not from the UK, when I started riding MTB 20 years ago, I immediately switched to moto style brakes. Basically for 2 reasons: 1) in case I ever get into moto (which I later did) 2) I'm right handed and the right hand has a bit more control, so makes sense to use it to control the front brake.
When my son started to ride his pedal bicycle, I started him with moto brakes. When he turned 2.5 years old we also put him on an OSET electric trials bike. Now at 7 he loves riding pumptracks and moto trials and has developed good control over both machines.
great video, my only complaint is that he didn't really show how to treat other people's things
Ahah
charge (français) = load (english)
front brake on the right, c'est normal, non?
Pour une moto oui. En VTT c est main gauche. Sauf pour les pays type England, Ecosse, NZ, Australie etc
C'était une blague, je suis anglais ;D
Belle séance de trial. Yo est tjrs 😅
♻🔋👏💪🔝❤
Cool! BUT too much theory, not enough riding :) But thank you!
toni bou
2 french people speaking english
All this e-bike controversy..Anyway, an e-bike is a “motor-bike”
cause it has a motor🙃
That’s being purposely misleading
they sound so sad though
Build your own trails and riding areas. Not compatible with analog mountain biking.
So, FYI this zone was a trials zone in the first place. It still is. Mountain Bikers are welcome to use the trails, like hikers too.
Many of the really good Mtn Bike Zones in the Vancouver/Sea to Sky are originally moto, or trials moto zones. With a certain amount of "live and let live" everybody can have fun together.
👍👍
That was a blast!
