Ford Motor Company's order banks opened up for 2024 Ford Mavericks! Let me know in the Comments section if you're thinking about ordering a new 2024 Ford Maverick or already own a Maverick.
My father ordered this Hot Pepper Red Metallic 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid XLT in September 2021 as a 2022 model. He deleted almost all of the options and Ford still rolled it over into 2023. After more than 1 year of waiting, he purchased a Cactus Grey 2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid Lariat from the same dealer at MSRP.
When this XLT finally showed up in early Spring 2023 as a 2023 Model, I was fortunate enough to pay MSRP for it. Here is the video from the day I took delivery -- I had to ship this Maverick from the NY to CA, but it was worth it in the end!
Getting a Ford Maverick Hybrid Truck at MSRP is almost unheard of! Worth shipping it to SoCal. Love the color! Enjoy the ride!!
Thank you! I’m very fortunate it worked out. Patience and persistence wins every time 🦾
Congrats on the Maverick I took delivery of mine in the middle of July and I absolutely love it. I also have a XLT hybrid in cactus grey. I also paid MSRP worked with a great dealership and salesman. No nonsense out the door within an hour and a half waited a total of 10 months for it.
That’s how it should be done! Dealer makes their profit and we get a great truck at the MSRP. Congrats on your XLT and enjoy it! 😎🛻
@@RobertLewisHUB thank you brother 🙏
Just Ordered a XLT,AWD with Luxury package and FX-4 Package. All black I’m excited
Great spec! You’re going to love it. I’ll make another video on the ‘24 I ordered 😎
Thanks for posting also waited 1 year-and-a-half for my hybrid but absolutely love it
It’s definitely worth the wait! Congratulations on getting your Maverick as well! 😎🛻
Nice looking truck and nice review. I've had my Hot Pepper Red XLT Hybrid for about 2 months now, after waiting over 600 days. The best thing I like so far is averaging 49 MPG on the first tank. Mileage has dropped a bit on the 2nd tank due to hauling building materials such as bags of concrete mix, and some heavy furniture for my wife, etc. The Maverick Truck Club guys say Slippery Mode is the best for MPG and I agree. Normal Mode is the default so I have to cycle through the Modes each time I start the truck, it has become a habit now, lol.
Thanks! They’re great trucks and I’ve ordered a ‘24 in my more desired spec. My mileage has also gone down since the first tank. I drive mostly highway miles and average around 35-36 combined. I’ve tried slippery and Eco, which is good for California traffic because it brakes the truck when you’re not on the gas. The drivers are terrible around here and cause the traffic. Enjoy your Mav!
In March of this year I took delivery of a '23 Mav hybrid Lariat in Alto Blue....also after waiting 18 months. But I paid $3,000 under sticker!! And LOVE IT TOO!
Wow! Congrats! How did you get it under sticker? First I’ve heard of that happening.
@@RobertLewisHUB I was surprised and both Ford and the dealer were good to their word. Ford gave price protection of $1,000 and a private offer of $2,000. Dealer always promised no mark-up either.
@@Jasona1976 You won! I can’t think of a better all around new vehicle for under $35k

I wanted the full experience and to keep the truck clean for its cross country trek
Placed an order for a 2024 Maverick XLT Hybrid on 7/17/2023 at MSRP.
Awesome! You’re going to love it. I have a ‘24 on order spec’d how I wanted it. Most likely will sell this one and take delivery of the new XLT.
I ordered my 2023 ford maverick lariat tremor package in hot pepper red in September of 2022 and delivered in January of this year.
Congrats on your Lariat Tremor! 4 or 5 months isn’t bad at all for these trucks. I ordered a ‘24 so we’ll see how long it takes for delivery.
I got mine in a ecoboost and it took 8 months. I got the Lariat with everything even the moonroof
You did really well. Sounds like an awesome truck. I haven’t opened the sunroof since testing it out lol
@@RobertLewisHUB it is nice when you open the sliding rear window. Not to much air. You are going to love the mpg. I am getting 31.6 in the city. But I am in Florida. All flat.
@@pugglepuggle my MPGs have fallen off from what they were when the truck was new. It’s hotter, so that could be why. I have tried different driving modes with similar results. Highway MPGs are hurting the overall average.
Your dad should've left everything on when the order was rolled over because you had a higher chance of getting scheduled because of the priority. I placed two orders in Oct 2021. One was scheduled and canceled. I picked up the 2023 in March of this year. It's a fully loaded Lariat Lux CP360A BAP with moonroof so it had all the constraints on it. My second order finally arrived at the dealer in July but I walked away from it since I had the first one. It was identical and also fully loaded.
He listened to what other owners were saying online and what his dealer told him. It wasn’t the right move and it still delayed the build 18 months. I ordered a ‘24 spec’d closer to what I want and the order was picked up, so we’ll see how long it takes to be delivered. Congrats on getting your loaded Lariat! 🛻 🦾
@RobertLewisHUB Thanks. Especially after already waiting for a year make sure you get what you want
@@nathanwolfe7069 I think I’ll be happier with the ‘24 even though it’s $6k more with options.
After ordering a Carbonized Gray, Lariat Hybrid from my local dealer back in June '22, I finally have a production date of Oct 2, 2023. Only problem is that I've since purchased a '23 Colorado that I adore. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do when the Maverick is ready.
You’ll like the Lariat if you decide to take delivery. My father has one in Cactus Gray. The gas mileage will be better than the Colorado.
@@RobertLewisHUB Oh yes, the gas mileage is SIGNIFICANTLY better on the Maverick, but that is probably the only thing I like better. I will likely be selling the Maverick.
@@RobertLewisHUB Your Red Maverick is stunning, bro! Great choice.
I waited 1yr and 3 months I love my 2023 area 51 Xlt
That’s a great color and worth waiting for! 🛻
@RobertLewisHUB yes I love this color, and I was in shock to learn it's been discontinued for 2024,I wonder why,did they not want to flood the market? I get compliments every time I take her out
@larrypaley1684 changing colors is cheaper than updating a vehicle. Plus, they switched the Area 51, which was a standard color (no extra charge) to Azure Gray Metallic, which is a $495 up charge. They discontinued Alto Blue Metallic, which I was planning on ordering since my other 2023 order was carried over for 2024.
H&R lowering springs 2” front 3” rear. Check out the Ferrada wheel video with 22 bronze wheels on a Maverick
I was thinking about going with Eibach Springs and 20” custom forged wheels. Do you have H & Rs?
Eibach or H&R. Both are good. 20" wheels with 245 45 R20 performance tires will be about the same overall diameter.
@@66scooterdaytona I think that’s a good size to keep most of the MPGs and still achieve the look I’m going for
U taking it up to carweek
If I can’t get my new car registered in time lol
You're supposed to leave the orange bins in. The base base model doesn't come with those.
I left them in for protection. Reminds me of those cheap drop in coin holders.
@RobertLewisHUB I can see that, lol. Great work getting one at msrp, so jelly, bro.
@@marcotsubero thanks man! 1.5 years of patience finally paid off ⏳🛻
@RobertLewisHUB it's unfortunate that we have to wait this long or deal with ridiculous markups from dealerships. Good stuff man enjoy it. 👊
When is payment in full required? When you order it or receive it?
Usually the dealer asks for a $500 refundable deposit upon ordering a new Maverick. You’ll be expected to pay the remaining balance when your Maverick finally shows up.
You said you paid msrp but how much did you actually pay, looking into this thanks.
MSRP was $27,920 and that’s what I paid
@@RobertLewisHUB awesome brother thanks 🙏🏻
@@sebastianibanez9145 good luck if you’re looking into purchasing one 🦾

Unfortunately the truck driver’s rig was too large to park anywhere else. I don’t shop there 👎☕️
I am getting mine in Sept! Same configuration except the MoonRoof in Carbonized Gray! Will be ONE year to the week for the wait. Was it an out of state order? I had place my order out of California too, but Morgan Hill Ford near San Jose is also at MSRP. My 2023 XLT Hybrid from Morgan Hill ford is the one scheduled now.
Congrats! The wait felt like forever, but you’ll forget all about it once you’re in the driver’s seat 😎🛻
Come on man its a unibody it doesn't ride like a truck definitely smooth like a car
Not compared to my present and past sports cars. There’s a lot of body roll. I have a feeling that the large tire sidewalls and soft springs/shocks are dampening a lot of the road imperfections. Otherwise, I think it will ride harsher like a traditional truck. I plan on lowering it with Eibach Springs and putting wider 20” forged wheels on with lower profile tires. It should make a big difference in the handling without sacrificing too much comfort.
