      @@czele123 You are right. Usually, mantis shrimp are shy, but not always. Occasionally, they like to "pose and act".

      I hope to find one that wants to pose 😀. Did you use zoom or were you so close to it to get such great details of its eyes?

      @@czele123 my camcorder has a fixed zoom lens. In addition, I often use +6 diopter that allows me to stay fairly far from a subject to allow the required magnification.
