    ENTER CARDHOLDER DATA
Once logged in, click the VIRTUAL TERMINAL link in the main menu and it will default to the Virtual terminal sub menu.
If this is a new customer that you’ve never taken a payment from, you can start by entering all cardholder data as shown here.
The only field that is required under the account information section, is the Name of the customer... this asterisk let’s you know it’s a required field.
Enter the billing address if you have it,… and if you want an email receipt to go out to your customer, make sure you have the email field populated and make sure to check this box here.
[Reference Link] If you want more information on how to customize the email receipt click the link in the description for that detailed tutorial.
To enter the credit card number just come over here to the mock credit card image and enter:
    1- the card number,
2- The 3 digit code on the back of the card
    3- And the expiration date
Checking this box here, gives you the option to “store the customer profile” within your CardPointe account so you can easily recall that customer and card number for future purchases.
If you check the box to store the customer profile, a required section called the “Cardholder Permission” will appear and you must be able to agree that Cardholder has given verbal or written permission to save profile and all associated cards at all locations
So this “cardholder permission” section only appears IF you have the “store customer profile” box checked.
If you don’t want to store or can’t legitimately check this box indicating customer consent, you can just uncheck it, this entire CardHolder permission section disappears , and run the card still as a single transaction.

This is the newly updated for 2021 version of the CardPointe Virtual Terminal tutorial. Important to note that there is a "Cardholder Permission" section now that is a required field. If you have questions about CardPointe functionality, just comment here and let me know! -Brian

In general, if I have a counter credit card terminal that gets level II pricing and virtual terminal, if I manually enter a card, which one will get the better rate? Or would they be the same?

Hello, you can recommend any merchant account provider that works for uAE? and provides virtual terminals as well?

    Hi Brian,
If I as a merchant have many use cases, where I need to take future payments from customer in his/her absence. Many of which I don't know while storing card details in our (company's) vault then do I need to create multiple Agreements/Mandates per MIT (Merchant Initiated Transactions) use-case?
As I understand as per MIT framework, I will need to have an agreement/mandate (In T&Cs) agreed with the customer to allow me to take payments in his/her absence. That would require me to create and send Agreement ID and Reason code (MIT Type) to Acquirer/Issuer.
The question I have is, do I need to create multiple T&Cs, multiple Agreement IDs per use-case, such as, unscheduled payments, recurring payments, subscription1 payments, subscription2 payments... etc.? Or Just one T&C and one agreement ID would do?

In short, each time you chare a customer card, whether it's a stored profile or a single use virtual terminal purchase, you need to have the customer's authorization and permission to do so. Outside of that, I can't really advise you on the best contract to use because that depends on your business and the deliverables that you are providing for sale. Thanks for watching and let me know if you have any other questions. -Brian
