Even in 2023 this is still very helpful as a series. Thank you!
Things might look a bit different, but everything is easy to follow with a bit of searching.

Thanks! Though this couse is slightly dated, i am impressed at the minute detail oriented way of explaining every detail, that helps an absolute beginner. i give up on most TLDR stuff but not this one.

For new PBI versions, settings can be found in the format area of the Visualizations pane... under "visual".

Hi Thank you for sharing your experience on power BI. A collaboration from me for all viewing this video, On minute 42.30 approx.., You can select the left visualization when personalized and then go to format painter icon and then select destination visualization in which you want the same properties. At least in this case it worked for me.

Great tutorial video, thank you very much!
A little help if someone is doing it in Hungarian and gets stuck with the drill-through:
A Drill through magyarul Részletezésre lett fordítva.
    Wishing you a good study!

Nice for beginners. Thanks for sharing. But the use of variables is highly inefficient. Variables are temporary storage, don't forget this fact. We can do single line calculations with the "Calculate" function.

I am learning and enjoying a lot through these Power BI videos. However, in this video I guess the instructor has not exactly explained the data present in the tables and is just dragging and dropping it to the Visualization pane.

I've started learning PowerBI since 2-3 days, and so far I've learnt is merging files, transforming data and other basics. Should I consider this video as a level above that for more learning about the software? Also I want to be familiar with the whole software so that I can do independent Projects, So I just to know if I'm going in the right direction or not ?

Hi Yash - This video series was made to get certified in Power BI via the DA-100 Exam offered by Microsoft so you are definitely going in the right direction.

    Super informative. Couple quick notes:
The Supplier Quality data used in the end of the video is not part of the downloads package. Because my business is supplier quality, I'd like to review this data. Can I get it? Also, the link to manuals doesn't seem to have any info about PBI, Automator, Forms, and a few others. Looks like just older stuff. Is there an update?

From today The filter was deconfigured in the drop-down menu selection, that is, when opening the drop-down the position of the filter data appears in another part of the screen and not under the menu, this happens when uploading the report and opening it on the Web. ¿ also happens to them?

How can we create drill through for individual data points of Matrix visual in power BI?

    • @LearnitTraining
      @LearnitTraining  3 месяца назад

Certainly! To create drill-through functionality for individual data points in a Matrix visual in Power BI, follow these steps:
      Create a New Page:
First, create a new page in your Power BI report where you want to display the detailed information when users drill through. You can do this by clicking on the “New Page” button in the Pages pane.
Add the Field to Drill Through:
Drag the field (column) that you want to use for drill-through into the “Drill Through” fields well on the new page. This field will be the basis for filtering the detailed data.
      Configure the New Page:
Customize the new page to show the data in more detail. You can add visuals, tables, charts, and other elements relevant to the drill-through context.
      Create a Visual Trigger:
Add a visual (e.g., a button, text box, or image) that users will click to trigger the drill-through action. This visual will take them to the detailed page.
Select the visual, go to the “Action” section in the Visualizations pane, and set it up to drill through to the new page you created.
      Test the Drill-Through Functionality:
Save your report and test the drill-through functionality by right-clicking on a data point in the Matrix visual on another report page. Users should be able to drill through to the detailed page filtered by the selected data point.
Remember that drill-through pages allow you to focus on specific entities (e.g., suppliers, customers, or manufacturers) and provide context-specific details. Enjoy exploring your data! 😊
