    My Mustang 3 MV is scratchy also in the area of 1-4 if I rotate it fast. Not nearly as much if I rotat it slowly. I typically pre-set the MV level and then work the guitar volume so it isn't really a problem .

      I replaced the pot (no help from fender. They say they don’t have a part number or details) and it’s still a giant jumping nightmare

    Hi, sorry to post on this issue... I'm desperate! I have a Mustang III amp and I was trying to update my old amp but something went wrong, I'm trying to place again the old factory version which was the 1.9 and in the middle, the update bar does not move forward. Could anybody help me, with how to restore the factory firmware version or fix this problem somehow? Pleaaaaaseeeeee........

    Have you heard of Mouser electronics supply? One of the best parts houses for repair parts. Radio Shack was ok long ago but c'mon where would i get a pot?

      Yup. Digikey and mouser are pretty much my lifeline now.

    Hello friend, do you know what is called the "DATA WHEEL" potentiometer? And here I can buy

    • @pipelineaudio
      @pipelineaudio  11 месяцев назад +1

      Let me see if I can find it. I think it’s still a pot and the surrounding electronics convert it to values

      Yes its a data wheel. I got lucky on a TC Electrics processor and found a matching part. It was a bear to get off the board even with a hot air soldering gun. It fixed the unit. You need the same amount of pins and right count on how many rotary clicks it has.

    Hello there! Im having issues with my mustang iii v2...The thing is everything is working perfectly, besides the volume of the amp, with everything in 100% it sounds so low, i get a little bit of power with the distorted presets but its still being so quiet. I've got signal or response, just that is very low in volume. Any suggestions?
    (Sorry in advance, english is not my native language lol)

      If you wiggle the master volume, does it jump up in volume?

    • @nicolasmolinamerlo3042
      @nicolasmolinamerlo3042 10 месяцев назад

      It does not, when i wiggle the master knob it has that static sound that you know that something is wrong, no static such as a distortion, as if the pot has something to it

    • @nicolasmolinamerlo3042
      @nicolasmolinamerlo3042 10 месяцев назад
