Such a great server. Started playing when I was 12 and I'm 20 now. So thankful to have this server continue to be fun and to have it as a part of my childhood.

I joined since 2016, and HOLY crap I would pay MONEY to play this server (you technically have to pay for minecraft first) but it is my most played server and I am STILL not fully done with the main story yet. I love the dark and more evil theme to the world, and I can't wait for Fruma and more content. Even at level 102, I sometimes I watch new players come in to Ragni castle and see them get ready for a grand journey, realizing we were all like that! This is not just Wynncraft history, but Minecraft history as well! Amazing job Salted, Grian, Jula, and Krungle (first admins.)

Woah, this is insane throwback. I started playing Wynncraft somewhere around 2013, and stopped playing like 7 years ago shortly after Gavel came out. In fact, that picture of Gavel at 6:29 is one that I stitched together back in the day, because the map didn't zoom out far enough to let you see all of the new Gavel and Wynn real estate combined! So wild to see where the game is at nowadays. An entirely new experience, to be sure.
As someone who has followed and played wynncraft on and off for 7 or 8 years now, and even got the privilege to be a member of the content team for one of them, it has been so incredible to watch this server grow and thrive over the years. The wynncraft team and the servers community has done so much to be proud of and has created memories that will last me a life time. The wynncraft team in particular deserves all the praise in the world, every single person I worked with including Salted were so talented and passionate about Wynn, it was infectious. Such a great group and I am proud to look back at all they've accomplished. Thanks for the great video

Well put together video, it was nice to see how far Wynncraft has come since 2013. I remember joining it as a kid (I vividly remember VIP Town lmao) and stayed for a few years after that, until I eventually moved on. Having seen the Rekindled trailer a week or so ago, I decided to hop back on and wow the server (or rather the game since that's what Wynncraft is as this point) has evolved immensely and I'm super impressed. I bought VIP sometime after I first joined, and I recently got VIP+ because I felt the Wynncraft team deserves it. I shall pick up where I left off, and this time with a bunch of friends I brought on. :)
Playing for 9 Years now (Joined 2015) best money I ever spent on a game in supporting this server, what this Team archieved in Vanilla compatible Minecraft is amazing. Just thanks for giving me a place to play.
Sheesh man i remember being a regular on the normal Craftedmovie server when they announced this. Such a grand feat of design to achieve back then and even to this day. 10 Years on I rarely play MC anymore, but it makes me happy to know that there are still people enjoying the content that has been created by that amazing team. This made me realized how long it has been since I played on that server. I had a character over level 100 when the eye dungeon came out but that’s the last time I played. I think it’s time I come back. Summer is coming and I’m soon finishing my first year of uni. I think it’s time I come back to this server Time to restart to level 1, idk what class I will take, probably mage again, this is gonna be interesting

(IIRC the Door was there LONG before Gavel was ever even announced)
Started in 2014 and left it in 2015. Returned on the release of Spellbound with the Wynncraft modpack. Holly molly it was a completly new experience and a better one. 0 to 65 in one month and planning to go to 105 ! Still annoyed for some unfinished plotline or caracters but all hopes on the next years.

Joined December 12th 2013. Such a great server. I even remember talking to you like 9 years ago back when I think you were helper at that time? Laggy swarms, the small starting area with the tiny pond and lily pads (which was a great farm tbh would always leave tutorial as like level 10) double xp for ranks, and so many more good times. I just started this video but thanks for all you’ve done for wynncraft.
I only joined Wynn 2 years ago and have experienced and finished every aspect of the game. Safe to say Wynncraft is one of the best games ever made. I'm so excited for the Fruma update :D

I started to play wynn back in 2017 but.. I didn't find it as fun as I find it now. I really enjoy it now, I am even streaming it! My old account got leaked by my friend so a level 30+ acc went to waste. I love that the server is still going on with updates. I really want to see Fruma

Wow, cant believe its been this long. Started playing in early 2014, and at the time I had no idea the server was so new. I remember when everything was sticks and shears and the bank only had one page.. a much simpler time. Gavel still feels recent, hard to believe it's been 7 years. I stopped playing for a few years but came back for 2.0. I refuse to acknowledge the existence of professions, but like most of the changes over the years. Great server overall
what the hell what I take away from this video is that I haven't played in a long long long while and that it seems to be worth returning video is a very good watch thank you
I also remember the demon cave 10:05 tens of players flooding thr cave as totems and 2x Xp bombs went down. It was a crazy time I quit before the corcus update because the rework of the items and elemental affinity broke my level 100 gear and I wasn’t going to grind low level to get a new set of gear that worked especially since I was failing college at the time and all my friends had left Wynn
Awesome video! 30 mins sounds lengthy, but it felt like only 5 - I wouldn't mind an hour long video in this style Being an old player, it was especially nice to see a recap of the early stages (pre-Gavel and pre-resource-pack) along with some old areas and different build iterations. I still hope that we may some day be able to revisit the old dungeons. Even though I hate parkour, the animal dungeon is probably my favourite.
Thank you all the staff for making such a great game! I come back to it every now and then, and it beats all others in terms of well thought out quests, dialogue, design and scenery. Except for the parkour quests because I suck at parkour! But I still do like them because I dunno, sometimes I get attached to the npcs and some like Yahya irritate me no end!
0:35 In case anyone is confused as to how Super Smash Bros. inspired Wynncraft, Salted explained that both games have a sort of blueprint for how moves/spells should work across all characters/classes. In Smash Bros., the up-special helps you get back to the stage and the side-special covers your front with either a projectile, burst movement or strong attack. In Wynncraft, examples include R-R-R being the movement spell and R-L-L being the big damage spell.
Ive been around since December 2014 Ive seen many major updates and the rise and fall of many guild alliances like the Federation. Even broke in to the Ternaves prison when it was still possible. Now after I left my guild I am no longer active I only return for updates or major events one day I will truly return.
I love this server so much but the only problem for me is that i dont have friends who play minecraft at all ik tryibg to convince them to play it rn and i see some hope lol

I first played back in 2013, but didn’t stick around for long. Then in 2019-2020 my friends and I played for a decent bit. Now I started playing again just a week ago and I already reached lvl 60 on a new character and started a crafting only character as well. WynnCraft is so much genuine fun and it costs nothing compared to all the $70 garbage the AAA industry has been pushing lately (of course not every game is bad). I’m honestly considering paying for a high rank and buying some crates to offer more support for the devs
I played back in 2013 for 3 years and then quit came back some years ago, quit again and now I am back and I am to weak for anything. But it still feels very good and nostalgic, now playing a new Role to relearn the game.
I remember being in the team speak the day we solved the ??? Quest I went to bed as a new hint had been found and when I woke up they had solved the quest. It was the last piece of the puzzle which was an amazing thing, I think my first run of that quest took 5 hours with 4 other players just to make sure we did it right 8:11

I played first in 2014. Not one of the OG OGs, but before Wynn had its own texture pack. I played seriously again a few years later, idk exactly when but it was after Gavel. Levelled to like 90+ and fell in love with the Rodoroc area. Then took another break for 5+ years and now I'm thinking about getting back into it. The problem is that with so much content added, it feels like it's changed too much and I don't know where to look first to try and catch up. Same problem I have with Genshin. You just can't take a break from MMORPGs. If you do, you'll never catch up.
don't worry the progression of everything makes it not too clogged with content! id suggest starting a new class from scratch and just take it all in as a new experience! if you need a rundown i got a 2.0 beginners guide, but yea then its just to relive it all, ability stuff comes with leveling, theres discoveries to do between quests and dungeons and raids become a thing once youre doing the realm of light questline at lvl 54 and up, professions you can also skip to save you the hassle of endless grinding

I just remember how much work it was to get to level 97 the first time, and I enjoy being high level and I have a serious case of Archer Supremacy-itis. But still, I may end up doing that. I watched your guide, it was very helpful catching up, so thank you for that!
No way Gavel came out that early in Wynncraft's life, feels like it came out halfway through its life... Shame there's no way to play the classic, pre-Gavel Wynncraft. Modern Wynncraft is much better but I'd love to go back and play the OG version again :P

It was a crazy time I quit before the corcus update because the rework of the items and elemental affinity broke my level 100 gear and I wasn’t going to grind low level to get a new set of gear that worked especially since I was failing college at the time and all my friends had left Wynn

Being an old player, it was especially nice to see a recap of the early stages (pre-Gavel and pre-resource-pack) along with some old areas and different build iterations. I still hope that we may some day be able to revisit the old dungeons. Even though I hate parkour, the animal dungeon is probably my favourite.

Thank you all the staff for making such a great game! I come back to it every now and then, and it beats all others in terms of well thought out quests, dialogue, design and scenery. Except for the parkour quests because I suck at parkour! But I still do like them because I dunno, sometimes I get attached to the npcs and some like Yahya irritate me no end!

0:35 In case anyone is confused as to how Super Smash Bros. inspired Wynncraft, Salted explained that both games have a sort of blueprint for how moves/spells should work across all characters/classes. In Smash Bros., the up-special helps you get back to the stage and the side-special covers your front with either a projectile, burst movement or strong attack. In Wynncraft, examples include R-R-R being the movement spell and R-L-L being the big damage spell.

I joined since 2020 and it has been a blessing to play this server
Ive been around since December 2014 Ive seen many major updates and the rise and fall of many guild alliances like the Federation. Even broke in to the Ternaves prison when it was still possible. Now after I left my guild I am no longer active I only return for updates or major events one day I will truly return.

I’ve been playing for five years and I’m just now learning that grain was a creator of wynncraft
I first played back in 2013, but didn’t stick around for long. Then in 2019-2020 my friends and I played for a decent bit. Now I started playing again just a week ago and I already reached lvl 60 on a new character and started a crafting only character as well.
WynnCraft is so much genuine fun and it costs nothing compared to all the $70 garbage the AAA industry has been pushing lately (of course not every game is bad).
I’m honestly considering paying for a high rank and buying some crates to offer more support for the devs

I played back in 2013 for 3 years and then quit came back some years ago, quit again and now I am back and I am to weak for anything. But it still feels very good and nostalgic, now playing a new Role to relearn the game.

I remember being in the team speak the day we solved the ??? Quest I went to bed as a new hint had been found and when I woke up they had solved the quest. It was the last piece of the puzzle which was an amazing thing, I think my first run of that quest took 5 hours with 4 other players just to make sure we did it right 8:11

I played first in 2014. Not one of the OG OGs, but before Wynn had its own texture pack. I played seriously again a few years later, idk exactly when but it was after Gavel. Levelled to like 90+ and fell in love with the Rodoroc area. Then took another break for 5+ years and now I'm thinking about getting back into it. The problem is that with so much content added, it feels like it's changed too much and I don't know where to look first to try and catch up. Same problem I have with Genshin. You just can't take a break from MMORPGs. If you do, you'll never catch up.
don't worry the progression of everything makes it not too clogged with content! id suggest starting a new class from scratch and just take it all in as a new experience! if you need a rundown i got a 2.0 beginners guide, but yea then its just to relive it all, ability stuff comes with leveling, theres discoveries to do between quests and dungeons and raids become a thing once youre doing the realm of light questline at lvl 54 and up, professions you can also skip to save you the hassle of endless grinding
@@Olinus10 I've gotten that advice a few times now. I just remember how much work it was to get to level 97 the first time, and I enjoy being high level and I have a serious case of Archer Supremacy-itis. But still, I may end up doing that. I watched your guide, it was very helpful catching up, so thank you for that!
