lol funny story from an old job. I worked repairing medical equipment in a hospital. The ER called me up to look at their camera they used for imaging injures and such as it was "blurry". Turns out it was just the diopter needed to be adjusted as it got bumped. lol that was a quick fix and thanks to knowing how to use cameras! Thanks for these videos as they help me brush up on my knowledge and learn new things about this camera! As I often forget some features from not using it for long enough. So it's great to have a refresher!
Thank you! This is my first full frame AND Sony…I’ve been using Canon my entire life. This video is perfect and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.
Happy I found you! I have always wanted to take pics and make videos so I grabbed the a7ii - I've never owned a camera before so I appreciate the simple walkthroughs.
Thank you for posting this Christian. I just got mine a couple of weeks back and just wanted someone to show me some of the features etc, so your videos are fantastic!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO. i love this camera! I got it to use as a webcam for my stream and getting the best picture is proving to be difficult. your video really helps though.
Just bought this yesterday liking it so far. Its my first step into in my situation an expensive camera being 500+ pounds. Have to keep reminding myself that im not gonna get fantastic pictures straight out the gate. But hopefully with this awesome video it sould help me abit
Purchased yesterday Sony A7ii plus Sony lens SEL2860 FE28-60 F4-5.6 for €1100. I upgraded from Sony RX100 M4. Subbed to your channel. Looking forward to exploring this fine piece of tech.
@@christianjmedia quick question, what lens do you recommend for architecture? I'm heading to Europe and want to rent a lens. I have a 28-70 (it's what was shipped with the body). It's good for "normal" pics but I want to zoom in a bit. Again, I'm a cam n00b.
@@steyrboy what ill suggest you go to near camera gear shop and you can rent for cheap , try yourself which one you like, for architecture i will suggest you for xoom lens like 70 -200 since you already got 28-70 covered. But i must say 28-70 is not a bad lens itself, its decent
@@bobybhangu2767 It's funny you say that, after posting here I found a Sigma 70-200 lens online and got the Sigma/Sony converter. I was able to use the 70-200 in Malta, and Germany, it was great. I also got a converter for my 28-70 that reverses it and turns it into a macro lens. I wish I would have explored photography years ago.
This is an excellent camera, not a ton of people using it but definitely a workhorse. I see you are a FS alumni. I’m currently enrolled in the same course.

There’s not 1 if I’m not mistaken. It turns on when you are using it/ have something plugged in the shoe.
Immediately Subscribed! Was gifted this camera!

Thank you for this it’s very hard to find tutorials on this camera. Most are geared towards the A7iii.

Why is it that when I’m on manual mode my exposure composition dial doesn’t do anything?
Are you shooting all manual or some manual and some auto in tandem?
how can i set up balance guide to the main screen? bc I have the same camera
It’s an option in display set, not close to the camera so can’t reference 100%
Buying this camera tomorrow, its going to be my first camera. Let's see where this picture taking journey ends.
And yeah, that monitor is pretty filthy, but so is our phones, keyboards and buttholes. :p
Lmao the clear protectant is coming off that’s why it looks this way lol
@@christianjmedia Haha no worries, thanks for the small tutorials, theyre manageable bite sizes instead of some of those long ass videos.
My menu disappeared. I have only had this one yr, is that weird?
Have you tried pressing up on the dail on the back?
Love from India ❤
Big ups ❤️
It have touch screen?
No touch operation.
Here in 2024 and I just got this camera for 600$+tax (just body)
For a steal

Episode 3 is out now bro 💪🏾
The camera was honestly a lot smaller than I expected
That’s great it’s small for those who have small hands lol
Really hoping this video shows us what we're doing wrong lol, struggling to get good pictures and just not impressed.
Keep watching the guide
