I think it’s pretty obvious Shane is a better player than Efren. It’s just the evolution of the sport honestly. Gorst is gonna be better than both of them, already is in a lot of ways.
@@nahog99 lol gorst takes forever and looks at every shot like it's difficult. he will never be better than shane or reyes. who looks at the table and when it's obvious runs out the table. shane as great as he is was never the great kicker like reyes
Shane was just paying dues, because it's smart and gets players on his side. But his titles and achievements are far superior to Efren, who as he calls himself "just lucky." Shane isn't just lucky. He has 5 US Opens, and the only human alive to win 3 in a row. Earl has 5, but Efren only has 1. Don't think Efren has any legitimate world title either, he has one that wasn't recognized by WPA as they were split into 2 different tournaments, so really he didn't have the same competition as the best players went for the legitimate title. Another "lucky" moment... Shane and Earl have legitimate world titles. Earl also won a million dollars once running racks in a row.
@@justforfun5391 Shane himself just admitted to an interviewer that he couldn’t beat Gorst in any game except *maybe* 9 ball. He said Gorst probably beats him in 10 ball, banks, and one pocket. Gorst is half his age, don’t forget that.
Worked well enough for Player of the Decade and BCA Hall of Fame accolades and good enough to be a 300+ ball 14.1 high run. As for misses, EVERYONE misses, regardless of form or mechanics. Axiomatic. I just saw SVB miss a complete gimme 9 ball so it happens to the very best of players. Humans are not robots. If you're trying to comment on his stroke these days, that might be slightly more valid, but even then you need to somehow account for the inevitable negative impact of age on all humans. Critics are a dime a dozen and just talk. Champions are one in a million and do.
He is one of those players that has been playing the same since he started, never improved on his stroke or mechanics, or anything really especially the psychological part. That is why he hasn´t won almost anything significant for 15 years at least.
I noticed how fast that table was also. With a bigger 10 foot table it would be nice to have a slightly faster than normal cloth, but this was too fast.
Mika "the Crybaby" Immonen is all laughs, fun and loud c´mons when he´s winning. Would have loved to have seen this go to the wire with SVB winning just to see him cry.

Great match, but could have done without the caveman shout at the end.

😂
I was thinking the same thing.
I love swing Mika win he is unique and a fabulous shooter !
duck you for the spoiler
I’m sorry, Mika has way to movement in his shoulder. I’ve seen him miss quite of few easy key shots in his career seemingly because of that.

Why does Mika always scream like a total weirdo lol stay humble
This cloth ought to be broken-in a little at least man that's like a polished marble floor icy fast. Nobody wants to watch all eggshells shots
