3. Chiquita has one of the stable voices of all in Baby Monster I can say that 101% surely !! 🤌

I was shocked when I watched Asa's performance, 'cause she surpass my expectations and she was too comfortable with the stage. And now I see Haram's performance, and wow. She could be a solist so easy, she is sooo talent. I'm impressed!
Just a observation, I loved all the performances, I'm OT7, but I'm used to hear good solist, so, even though Rora, Pharita, Chiquita was great for me, it was good as the other performances I watched of them. Roka, she was bomb HAHAHAHA it was like she was laughing on YG's face singing CL's song. But yeah, Asa and Haram for me was beyond my expectations.
exactly - asa and haram did the best this round because they managed to show new sides to them and surprise the audience. the others were as good as they have always been.

I think they simply cut some comments for trainees. Just like in the last episode they didn’t really show much on everyone to fit the whole episode. But I assume their opinions were positive, otherwise they would include the opposite.
For me nothing change when its come to yg longest trainee even hyunsuk from treasure got mistreated too, I guess yg want to test her emotion and how long its take for her to stay cool and relax

For Haram, I think the vocal technique you are looking for is "Messa di voce" (Italian for Placing the Voice), which is the musical technique that involves a grand crescendo from pianissimo (pp or quietest) to fortissimo (ff loudest) and then diminuendo back to (pp) while sustaining a single pitch. Normally it is a slower technique when training, a faster controlled Messa di voce is a more advanced technique, at least in classical singing terms.

I don't know, even though ruka is that good and many people admit it because he never disappoints, but I think the mentors don't appreciate him enough. And some people say that Ruka is not cared for like the other members because there is a goal of strengthening his mentality to become the leader of the group, as happened to Hyunsuk Treasure. And so far ruka has always raised the mood in the group, What would a Babymonster be without monsters. And I hope all babymonsters debut with 7 members, because they've done their best so far.

Every YG rapper has they own unique flow pattern, so Ruka is good but not to that level, she has a long way to go

My main issue with Ruka as a rapper is pronunciation in both languages. Korean and English are her 2nd and 3rd languages so obviously its going to take some work to get perfect. Im just concerned since its been 4+ years of training for her and the pronunciation is still rough. Also if dancing is her main skill she hasn't shown enough there....at least not enough to outshine the other members. I do like her stage presence and lower rap tone.
Tbh Ruka is the weakest link of the group. Her rap just doesn’t sound good, kinda cringey. She does have good stage presence, but when it combines with her rap, the whole stage becomes kinda odd. It seems like she’s trying too much but giving very little actually.

I have this kind of feeling about Chiquita, I think those audience already known that she won't be able to sing at her best thus they lower their expectation down a bit as well as allowing her to sing only for 1.24 mins. I can feel it when looking at YHS's face like he feel shame for her, it's not disappointment but a shame that her condition wasn't ready at all. After having Covid-19, you also will be suffering long covid for months, unable to hold your breath properly and still have sore and itchy throat but since the evaluation were scheduled and couldn't be avoided so Chiquita need to go through it whatsoever. I think she doing really good for someone who suffering this symptom but at her proper condition she'll be 10 times better than this (That's why she was ranked 1st in the blind test). Anyway apart from her singing, I love that she pays attention to every details such as her stance, her hands gestures, her face expression, all of those are on point. For me Chiquita's performance deserve huge praise eventhough her singing wasn't the best.

Chiquita is one of my top 3 favorites, but yah, there was something off, there were some breaks in her vocal range that were not there before. Given the circumstances she did excellent, but if you did not know what she sounded like before, you would think there were a couple misses in her singing. Emotion and expression wise, she was 100 though.

When it comes to live stages, let's be honest. YG artists rarely disappoint. When you hear the record songs vs. the live, there will be no difference. Even the live stage is more alive, and their songs fit well for live performance.

Rora and Haram is doing good as well, Rora has shown singing high notes too, as well as haram with her individual performance. Overall, they're all good. I feel like Rora and Haram still have much more to show, after seeing their performances. Like haram, despite of the difficultly of her song choice, she still pushed it, trust herself and slayed. They all have distinct voices and has their own colors and expertise. They will fill each other's weaknesses, to be become strong vocal line.

1.Haram just blew me away, I knew she was a good vocalist but damn never thought her to be such an empress when it comes to vocals and song selection ( imo the mvp of the solo mission ).
2. Ruka impressed me tbh, although I couldn’t understand her rap part in English in some parts, the majority of the performance was great. She just exudes yg swag, also it was really good to see her improve her English.
3. Chiquita had already a stable voice, but due to covid it affected her voice but nonetheless her solo was really good. You could hear her struggling a bit but that was no fault of her. She was good.

I have come across so many DEAF people in the past weeks, who claimed that Haram is the weakest singer in BABYMONSTER, when she was the obvious Main Vocal since Day 1. If this performance didn't make it clear to everyone, that Haram is not only Main Vocal, but the best best Main Vocal YG ever had, then not even God can heal your ears anymore.
Haram improving so much, so proud of her. But from vocal support ranges yes she is the weakest (in vocal line). But thechnically, she's good

If she didn’t have incredible support she wouldn’t even be able to hit all the notes she just hit… I’ve seen so many ridiculous videos of fans making vocal ranking videos, without having any vocal knowledge. As a singer myself, it’s just SO frustrating to see so much misinformation spreading around. All 7 girls are really talented in different aspects and they all 100% deserve to be a part of this group. But vocally Haram is just WORLDS ahead. None of the girls can even come close to her singing skills. Sorry for the rant but it’s just mind-blowing to me how people are so tone deaf.. I’m trying not to write a paragraph but I’m very passionate about singing, so it’s hard to hold back when I get triggered so much. Don’t take it personally please. I just had to say something.
Same, i always feel like Rora and Haram (or maybe Ahyeon) are their best vocalist. Their weakest vocalist for me surprisingly i think Pharita. Idk about vocal technique and all that but even though her voice is powerful but her singing sometimes sounds flat. She doesn't sounds as stable as the other vocalist in the group

To be fair to Ruka, all the girls vocals have been cleaned up and autotuned in post production for these performances and all the "stage" performances we've seen in the series. You get a better idea of what their real vocals are when they are practicing, still great, but not as polished as it sounds when suddenly they are on stage.
This is a solo performance, doesn’t matter if there are adlibs on the backgrounds. They will judge them not solely on their vocals but overall.
