The fabric seems to be a mixture of cotton and recycled fiber. (Burn fabric and verify)
The pink tape is made of urethane foam with a sticky surface. (10:57)
It is very useful as a guideline for stitching. We buy them in a kind of professional shop in Japan. The information of this shop is secret.
The white strip is just a "PP strap". (11:01)
This is in order not to slide while sewing (sewing gap).
When the thickness of the fabric is different, the pressure of the presser foot and the feed dog are not stable.
Putting this tape means adding the height, this is very useful.

This is it. Perfection. The level of skill is astonishing. I'm so glad I found your channel. Thank you for sharing
I'm so glad I found this channel! Thank you, from the bottom of heart!
Watching your videos is so therapeutic to me. Your skill, attention to detail and all around talent is remarkable. Thank you so much for sharing. You’ve made me look at my Juki industrial differently as I was becoming bored with it. I have no where near your skill but I hope to one day.
Your precision is mind blowing!
Job turns to art in your hands.
Very professional… I like sewing… and after this vedio , I love sewing . Thank you for sharing your experience .
WOW!! i love how focused you are on what you're doing.. you're such an inspiration !!
Thank you for making an old lady happy with your sewing.
I am 69 and South African.
I was taught to sew at school, but had a love for sewing since very young.
At 10 years old I got my first sewing machine.
I had a teacher who taught us the techniques and that is why I enjoy seeing you sew. There is only one way and that is the right way, as you demonstrate.
It takes practice and practice and iron every part you sew.
I really envy you your Juki and iron. I had to sell my industrial sewing machine and bought a domestic Bernina and thought I would adapt, but it is so light and don't enjoy the experience.
Keep up the perfect work and thank you
Anita
Thank you so much for your posting. We are so glad to hear you😄😄 We keep up and going!!
I was trying to do this exact step last night but couldn't figure out how to do it with sides of different widths. I will revise my method. Thank you!

Sei semplicemente una grande professionista... ti ammiro molto
I enjoy watching your sewing skills

Very very good thanks
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Perfect work... Good finishing

I love this video. It's helpful. Where did you get that pink magnet? I need one of those on my machine. It would keep my sewing straight

Seems like it would be pretty easy to make one yourself

Wao amazing
Muchisimas gracias por la ayuda!
When you've pressed the seam allowance so accurately, is there a reason you've sewn the cover stitch from the wrong side? I think the stitch looks more beautiful if sewn from the face side.
If you sew from the face side, the face side will be a beautiful stitch, but the wrong side cannot be sewn accurately.
Perfection! I was interested to see that the seamstress sometimes uses a plastic strip as a stitch guide. That's a good idea.
I believe it's not being used as a stitch guide. You can see the piece of pink foam being used as a stitch guide. The plastic strip glides under the foot and prevents the foot from adjusting the fabric as it's being sewn. The curved hem here requires that the hem be slightly gathered; if that went under the machine without the plastic strip, the foot could push the fabric resulting in a straight hem, or, more likely, it could lead to unsightly gathers in the hem.
Awesome
I want the ‘steam sucking’ pressing table!
Awesome. What is the white strip that goes under the presser foot for please?
This white strip is just a "PP strap". This is in order not to slide while sewing (sewing gap). When the thickness of the fabric is different, the pressure of the presser foot and the feed dog are not stable. Putting this tape means adding the height, this is very useful. Thank you!
Why do you put the pp strap at the higher/thicker part(right side), not at the left thinner part? I thought putting the pp strap at the left side thinner part will only then make the height balanced?
Littlekoobaby I don't understand that either. The strap placement is making the thicker part higher.
keren banget
What is the second pressure foot you swapped to when you sewed the hem? Is that a walking foot? Is that better for sewing hems?
The seconed foot is for top-stitch. We usually use this one for top-stitch near the edge.
Perfect❤
❤❤❤❤❤
Gracias.
👍👍👍👍👍

Hi. Can someone explain the use of those plastic strips ? Is to guide the measurement or to help the fabric slide so nothg gets stuck or chewed into the machine?
This white strip is just a "PP strap" that is often used for packing work. This is in order not to slide while sewing (sewing gap). When the thickness of the fabric is different, the pressure of the presser foot and the feed dog are not stable. Putting this tape means adding the height, this is very useful. Thank you.
Why do you pull on threads when ironing the hem?
I think it's because the hem has abit of curve.
@@littlekoobaby ah that makes sense, thanks!
Yes, what littlekoobaby said is correct.
@@ateliersaison thanks for the clarification! Great videos!
