I don't get why prisoners are transported like this in the UK. Even murderers here in the US are put in a van that drives normally, might have a single escort vehicle if it's a particularly bad prisoner. not entirely true. while the vast majority are transported in transport vans and buses there are many who have to be escorted in specialized armored transport trucks in convoys like this.
