the jay crews show Well actually what happened is that the creators thought of the idea for Phineas and Ferb back in the 90s and they tried to sell it to all the different networks and most of them rejected it, but I think one company did say they were interested but then they went out of business. Even Disney rejected it at first, but then several years later they ended up calling Dan Povenmire and saying they wanted to make the show. They probably did pitch the show to Nickelodeon because the creators did used to work on Rocko’s Modern Life, and Dan worked on Spongebob, but I highly doubt that they would purposely put Baljeet in Pre School Daze and plan on making Phineas and Ferb be in the same universe as Rugrats. Preschool Daze is technically a sequel to Rugrats, not a prequel since Angelica just turned 3 at the beginning of the show (preschool is for kids 3-4 usually) and Susie wasn't introduced until season 2 of the series when her family moved into the neighborhood making it impossible to be a prequel as she's in Preschool Daze. Though it was a prequel to All Grown Up as the young child versions of some characters introduced in that show were also in Preschool Daze.
