Andy, I have gone back and am watching all your videos again, I've got the modeling bug again and this is the #1 place on the internet for info. Been a modeler all my life, I'm 56 now.
Andy, I'm thrilled to see you build this one. I saw some announcements of this kit on Fine Scale Modeler's video kit announcements and KitMaker Network's announcements and through this kit looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for getting this build out for us as well as several of the other new kits that you've made videos of your builds to see. I'm going to be saving to build this kit up sometime soon!
I'm building this right now. My first Link & Length track build, but it went together pretty smoothly (and I found I didn't need all the track bits. too. Very little flash, filling or clean-up needed.
Great build. Love the color. I need to do more armor. I always make everything as difficult as possible. Working on Academy's American Stuart, and made the driver's hatches open. Now painting is becoming a hassle, with masking the hatches so I don't spray the interior. Ugh. Thanks, Andy. Great channel.
Great the way the wheels and tracks painted themselves which is what most people will want to see as the basic black was sprayed with the side skirts on ?
Great video again. If possible, would you please show how you paint the hull section behind the road wheels on your next project? For what I could see you painted the lower hull and inside of the road wheels. That is something I have trouble with when painting my subjects, not that I want to get paint behind the side skirts but just to the places where you can see with the model in display.
Hi Andy, love your videos. One remark on this one. Considering the tracks, it’s 8 on one side and 9 on the other. That’s why you couldn’t fit in the last one in.
Hi andy, ive started using tamiya glue, the same as you use, but when i watch you , you dont seem to have to put much on for the parts to stick, unlike when im using it tend to need more glue🤔🤔🤩
Andy, as a retired architect, I love detailed models inside and out! I know you do not like to do interiors, so just send me all the interior stuff and I will pre-paint, decal, weather all those parts and assemble that which can be pre-assembled. I'll do the figures too! I do not intend this as criticism, just an "honoring" of your personal modeling preferences! I also design and print my own decals and just aquired a laser engraver to do detailing and nameplates for models! I also do cars and aircraft along with armor! I will email you the design scheme for my "37 Ford "Hogwarts". I love your tutorials as you explain what and why you do what you do. You do a great job! Thank you sir.
Great as always Andy. I've learned more from watching a handful of your videos than I did in 30 years of actually building models lolWish I knew of you when I lived in Tucson. Promise to drop by if I am ever in the Nix.
I wish I had a shop like Yours in My town Andy. All I have is a lousy Hobby Lobby. HL has a very small model kit section. I have to get most of My stuff off Amazon.
nice one Andy but I like German tanks.then usa tanks.love how u do u kits.soon I will start to do my kits just waiting for my spay gun.bye Andy.from Australia 🌏
Absolutely marvelous work on the paint. Just enough wear and weathering for my tastes. I'm actually curious if this is one of the ones you're going to sell.
Hi Andy. I love your videos. I like the way you do not edit out when you drop parts bits etc. I drop bits all the time. I have just bought an airbrush. What size nozzle do you use. The one I have just bought comes with a 0.5 nozzle. I am wanting to use it for 1/35 scale armour kits. Thanks. Kevin. :0)
Another GREAT video Brother! Have you ever considered doing a Tank Wrecker with a Low Boy trailer? I saw one on Hobby Inc when I was doing some "window shopping" :-)
Andy when dry brushing a model should I add any thinner to container of tamiya paint or just brush it out of the bottle since I don't airbrush the models (what gets the best results) thanks!
Andy: I'm not sure if your taking requests or suggestions on what kits you build, but if you're open to it, I'd like to see you build the Tamiya M2A2 ODS kit. t
Ever since I discovered Tamiya R/C vehicles over 30 years ago and found that they had models and supplies I've never looked back! LoL. Back then it was difficult to find their products but since then the internet has changed all that and I try to use their stuff when ever possible especially their line of acrylic paints for plastic models, I don't mind paying a little more for them because of the quality and that goes for all of their products.!
Well done again! Too bad this did not come with the option for rubber band like tracks. I like them a lot more then the link and link and link and length stuff.....
Andy, I've been out of the modeling scene for a long time and I just getting started again. I trying to find SnJ polishing powder and I can't find any way to purchase. Is it possible to buy through you???
The Russians actually like the Valentine and the 76mm sherman some of the Russian elite mechanized corps units had exclusively Sherman 76mm they perfered them to the T34 85
I just wanted to ask if revell kits are any good because that is the only thing I can get if I dont want to order it online, I`m interested in tanks and warships of ww2
Revell kits are okay, quite good but not great. They normally have a good level of detail and fit quality. But the plastic can be a little brittle ( compared to Tamiya for example ) and they don't go together as easily as a similar Tamiya kit. They do tend to be a bit cheaper to purchase. So say if a Tamiya kit is rated 8 or 9 out of 10 for general build quality then a Revell equivalent would probably be a 7 out of 10. Worth buying in my opinion as they look fine is competently built / painted.
You're an amazing modeler, but the engineering of the latest from Tamiya is astounding! I read about this tank, and was one of the worst in the NA campaign, was very cramped and unergonomical.
You gonna have to explain the logic behind designing a track structure like that, other than testing your skill or lack thereof. It makes no sense to over complicate them. I would love to have a go at this kit, but those finnicky tracks just put me right off.
I guess 18 people either hate Andy, his builds, and/or the Valentine. Why anybody would downvote is a mystery. Even so, a 937:18 like to dislike ratio is insanely good. Much better than YT Rewind 2018.

Brilliant! That kit will look great next to my Italeri Crusader & Universal Carrier. Thanks!
Very good video. Just got this set myself.
Another great looking build Andy. After watching this I went online and ordered it straight away. Cheers!
Absolutely delightful...!
Would love to challenge you to build The Churchill tank! The Airfix 1/72 version was a challenge to build!

Another great video Andy, thanks 👍🏻
I'm building this right now. My first Link & Length track build, but it went together pretty smoothly (and I found I didn't need all the track bits. too. Very little flash, filling or clean-up needed.
Although I don't like individual track parts, these do look nice and I plan on saving this kit on my wish list:P
beautiful tank. really like the end result. keep up the fantastic work mate
Great build. Love the color. I need to do more armor. I always make everything as difficult as possible. Working on Academy's American Stuart, and made the driver's hatches open. British iron looks great
Would love to see you make the M20 utility car or the Academy M7 priest. But as always amazing work!
the tamiya M20 is a great kit. I'd like Andy to build it too
great build as always andy
Great the way the wheels and tracks painted themselves which is what most people will want to see as the basic black was sprayed with the side skirts on ?
I always love the result, great works!

Very nice, keep the good work. I do enjoy it!
I think you could make an F-86 Sabre in 1/48 look really good with your weathering skills and precision with little parts!
you are really good at building models I'm not really good but it's okay I like doing it it is fun I spend a lot of money on models
Another well done kit by my favorite model kit guy andy! ;)
Great build I just got done with a tamiya pak40
Nice video as always! Thanks for the great content.
Great build love it. Keep the videos coming
Hi Andy, love your videos. One remark on this one. Considering the tracks, it’s 8 on one side and 9 on the other. That’s why you couldn’t fit in the last one in.
love your work Andy, look forward to your next video. Wish you had a shop here in Invercargill, New Zealand.
Great work ... Compliments!

fantastic build buddy
to good. bought this kit last week. can't wait to start it. but I'm stuck in a crap load of builds.
I've always always wondered exactly how much is in a Crap Load?
Get back to me please ;-)
It's a hobby. Build what ever you want, whenever. Start a million builds as long as you have fun :)
love watching your videos. I'd like to see your take on the Tamiya sdkfz 251/1 ausf. c
Think the reason they look so good is that he has all the proper paints and pigments nice if you can afford it or have your own shop eh .
Thanks Andy.
I wish I had a shop like Yours in My town Andy. All I have is a lousy Hobby Lobby. HL has a very small model kit section. I have to get most of My stuff off Amazon.
I mean this as a compliment, you remind me of Bill Murray for some reason!!
nice one Andy but I like German tanks.then usa tanks.love how u do u kits.soon I will start to do my kits just waiting for my spay gun.bye Andy.from Australia 🌏
another great build :)
Bronco make a very nice Valentine.
Would you recommend to buy an airbrush?
Absolutely marvelous work on the paint. Just enough wear and weathering for my tastes. I'm actually curious if this is one of the ones you're going to sell.
I seem to be having an issue with your store website, asks if I wish to buy that domain.....
Would love to see you build the new bandai at-at walker andy..
Nice build, but I noticed you missed off the grab handles from the rear deck. Any reason for that?
Excellent! I like it very much. How do you paint the bottom of tanks?
I built the Bronco models Valentine mk. XI and I think it's a good kit, you should build it
Schwerer Gustav next
イギリス戦車👍

Hi Andy - love your channel. Do you plan to tackle any soft-skin builds soon ?
Where is the train diorama?????? Love your video ;)
giovanni costantino aloia what about the mk.1 male tank dio he said he was going to do?
Louis TheEleventh or the su-76i?
Another GREAT video Brother! Have you ever considered doing a Tank Wrecker with a Low Boy trailer? I saw one on Hobby Inc when I was doing some "window shopping" :-)
Andy when dry brushing a model should I add any thinner to container of tamiya paint or just brush it out of the bottle since I don't airbrush the models (what gets the best results) thanks!
Murcia We're the best you should thin your paint even if you use a brush.
I also want to know for the bigger models do you need glue
Noah Lopez you need glue on every single kit unless it says.
Can I order products from Andy online?
Andy good video! Keep up the good work! I was wondering if you sell 1/72 scale tanks !? I would like to buy some
Awesome.........
Andy: I'm not sure if your taking requests or suggestions on what kits you build, but if you're open to it, I'd like to see you build the Tamiya M2A2 ODS kit. t
Decide to build a Russian one nice work andy!
is there a version of this tank with the 75mm gun?
Where did you get those 90 degree tweezers?
Mr. Andy...
I know your thing is mostly tanks but could possibly assemble a few 1/16 scale warrior figures now and then ???
shouldn't decals go on after a gloss coat layer?
can you also airbrush with enamel paint?
yes if its thinned with enamel thinner
Casimir Kulikowski OK thanks
what type of glue are you using because at times it looks like youre hardly using any at all?
Shawn Logan www.amazon.co.uk/Tamiya-87038-Extra-Thin-Cement-Toy/dp/B000BMYWYC
thanks i realized i could probably see the label in the vid after i posted the question, lol, thanks though!
This is the best cement on market.

When are you going build and weather the Sherman?
does tamiya product put 2 kind of tracks in one product?
123 dodo sometimes
you mean random?
The Russians actually like the Valentine and the 76mm sherman some of the Russian elite mechanized corps units had exclusively Sherman 76mm they perfered them to the T34 85

I ordered a 75 german anti tank gun and the glue but the glue wasn't in the package and it's been a month since the order
lol why didnt you complain?
Hello. I could make a video referring to what type of airbrush for which we started in this modeling World . Thank you
It was an attack by a group of these tanks that forced Germany to use 88mm AA guns as anti tank guns.
Please build a tank from the Iosif Stalin (IS) line!
классно =)
t-28!!!!!!!!!!
I know you don't too many aircraft, but how about a channel first - a helicopter?
3041Markov it would be cool if he did a Vietnam era one alongside Tamiya's PBR kit maybe for a diorama or something
You're an amazing modeler, but the engineering of the latest from Tamiya is astounding! I read about this tank, and was one of the worst in the NA campaign, was very cramped and unergonomical.

Down votes ? Really?
Afrika korps fans?
pinfarmer Yes, its a mystery what some find to dislike??
