I'm in the same position as Nate -- my sprint power is really not much more than a 100 to maybe 200 watts higher out of the saddle than while seated. No matter matter how fresh the legs, no matter what gear I'm in, I simply can not get the power up. There will be that initial torque, peak power surge, where I can see the watts spike over 1000w, but within five seconds I'm already down to low 600s. I can watch my cadence spinning up, but once that flywheel of the Kickr gets going, the watts simple plateau ... regardless of how fast I get the crazy legs turning. Absolutely no clue how to remedy this. That's why I"m always amazed to see guys holding 16w/kg or more for the fifteen to twenty seconds.
@@TrainerRoad I watched that I’ll play with it some more to see all the ways to use it I’m just unfamiliar with how versatile it is and what my expectations are for it.
@@TrainerRoad also how do you separate structure indoor rides from outdoor rides? I want to say I perform differently outside than on the trainer and I want to see that difference.

Can we get Dylan to come and verify if this is accurate or not?
I was waiting for mention of fast-twitch muscle fibers. Maybe in another episode?
Can you make a video on how to use the pr feature?
We have one! ;)
