ANY officer, deputy, trooper, etc. that falsifies statements on a report or knowingly files a false report should not only be on the Brady list, they should have their state certification revoked. They should never be a cop again!

    • @oldguy9103

The fact of the matter is that they all LIE...!!! They get away with perjury on a regular basis and as far as I'm concerned none of them should be taken at their word...if they don't have hard proof like video and audio evidence, they should not be able to convict anyone. Their word means nothing as does the oath they made.!!!

this is a dispute between two bureaucrats. But where is the break in the law? There's nothing in this story that says anyone did anything that was illegal. This is a pissing contest between two bureaucrats. And they're using the Brady list to get their revenge. this is the way bureaucrats work, if they can't get you one way they'll try to get you another. it's less of an example of policemen's conduct and more of an example of the way bureaucrats deal with anything.
It is also interesting that at the end of the video, a spokesperson for the county sheriff's office, I believe, makes the assertion that this has never happened in their department before. Makes me wonder how well they police themselves. if they've never had it a case of misconduct.or perhaps his assertion is a misstatement of fact. Interestingly that's what this dispute is about about misrepresenting the facts; either the sheriff's office has never policed themselves and never found any wrongdoing, or they've never had a policeman do anything wrong, imagine that, or this is a misstatement. the precise reason for the difficulty between these two bureaucratic entities.

So, the two Checkpoint Officers had a problem with the entitled Commonwealth Attorney? Now, the two Sheriff Deputies are under investigation? Sounds like classic abuse of power by a County Attorney.

If nothing else, there's a clear conflict of interest on the CA's part.

The officers at the checkpoint were simply doing there job by screening each and every person who entered the court.
The problem was the “childish, we’re better than” ego of the prosecutors.
You see, they feel like there smarter than the little people, and they don’t have to abide by the rules.
They just need the officers to bow down to them

It doesn't matter if it's an internal dispute. If they lied in their reports, they lied.

Then that determination needs to be made by an outside agency, not the same CA's office that has a clear conflict of interest due to one of its employees being involved in the altercation. As it stands, there's not enough footage to support either side and legally, both parties have the same credibility in court.

When you start spouting "Don't you know who I am?", it signifies arrogance and doesn't promote good communication. Check your attitude at the door!!!

It sounds to me like they got what they deserved. If they treat other officials this way just think how they treat citizens.

Oh?! It's that simple to place an officer on the Brady List? Truly, most LEO must be stellar examples of humans being.
