Paul's high vocal on this is so bizarre melodically, and it really shifts around the vocal range making it extremely difficult. Incredible chord progression too in this song. Great effort breaking it down!
@@twj2002 They weren't singing the same that's the point of this fantastic video. John was singing a "middle Line" or main line if your will. George was signing a lower harmony. Almost a droning mode - no disparagement in this. Beautiful sensitivity and precision in Georges voice specially in the final part. McCartney was singing the high harmony as was adding beautifully to the melody and again such sensitivity. All three voices combined into something special. I find something magical in McCartney's singing. They were singing different but equally important parts of a whole. Take one of them away and its not the same. I've never understood why this song isn't more highly rated..
Your voice is so beautiful, I could listen to you all day long! And here you are singing all my favorite songs and breaking them down by vocal part and harmony which I'm always trying to do myself! I finally have a singing partner for harmonies with your RUclips videos! Thank you so much, Galeazzo!
not only was paul's voice amazing, but he was a musical genius at coming up with harmonies (most of the harmonies were figured out by paul even if john or george ended up signing the part... he had the natural ability, and it was brilliant!)!
@@hohaia01 it is well documented that John asked George Martin what vocal parts will work for the song. John knew the usually 3rd and 5th harmonies but wanted more complexity, given all the interesting chords the song has. Im sure if you look into this youll find this comment by John. Enjoy
The Beatles really knew their music... And so do you! My sister and I have been trying to sing this for a long time and you really helped us. Bravo from Greece!
I think because John sings the melody of the song, the "it turns me on" and "it makes me cry" sections should be sung with the lowest harmony. In brief, you should switch John's part and George's part on those sections. Listen the song again carefully, then you'll get what I mean. 😁

Seeing the Frudua’s video I realize how George was important to these vocals. Three geniuses… I don’t think that outside UK could have other group like Beatles ❤ That’s a kind of culture of hundred years.
@sndvl1527 Hey sndvl1527 Galeazzo Frudua here. The bad news first :) it's actually George and Paul singing with John. You can clearly identify George's voice steroed in the LOVE version of Because (check akronos93 video) in the left channel "love is old love is new" verse. The good news now: 1) this was also my doubt for years - 2) After playing these incredible tunes since 30y, everyday, just like you, I'm discovering new things and the last good news are that I hope this will last forever!
This is fantastic. I've been trying to find how to sing this for a long time. Thank you very much for your videos, they're just great. You're very talented :)
Fantastic job of explaining how it was performed, & then performing it himself. He could have performed this himself and sold it under the table as the Beatles, and I doubt many people would have known the difference (speaking of the final version).
So beautiful. The harmonies in Beatles songs at time are so good it's like one angelic voice. Great breakdown and demonstration as usual my friend God bless.
This is great! I really love your harmonies and how you break everything down- I did this on my channel and Sgt. Peppers- can't thank-you enough! -Phil
Celle que je préfère. ...Et vous la chantez merveilleusement bien. Je me suis toujours essayée en voiture à remettre indéfiniment la même chanson et à en chanter les différents voix...j'adore votre travail...😚❤👌
This is so cool! I thought.. I'd love to see a video where someone shows me exactly how to sing the harmonies of this song. And here it is! There's literally a video for ANYTHING on RUclips. :D Thanks so much! :)
Your great! It gives people a deep insight to the crazy amazing melodies they were up to, especially agree with you with Paul, he’s just something else…. But love the way your cat just chills in the back ha, got great music taste!
Fantastic. I like all you videos - but this is one of the best Beatles songs. You have a GREAT voice and are obviously very talented. Love the videos. Have you recorded any of your own music? keep up the fantastic work.
I sing with you !!!!!! :) In your video , I realize Im singing John's part, though, I go high in some places to Paul's part, becauses it's pretty :) lol... ( although, if I was singing my own part in a ensemble, I would stick to the notation, of course :) ) LOVE and THANKS : !!!!
Love your tutorials man!!! Would you like to do some tutorial of the Bee Gees? Like How Deep Is Your Love? I love The Beatles, they're my favorite band really :D but I'd like to watch a video of you making a Bee Gees's Tutorial, GREETINGS FROM CHILE!
Good video! I'm positive you have John and George's notes backwards on the word "mind" though. They switch. John follows the melody and goes down to the lower part for that one word, while George fits in-between the other two, so his note actually remains the same when he sings the first syllable of "mind."
Ah! Thanks! I see now how they swap up-note-and down-note phrasing. This is what gives that unusual and unexpected twist in harmony; J and P are swapping roles back and forth while G plays it straight. Kewl!
I'm recreating this myself right now and although Paul's is the most challenging due to the range, George's is definitely the strangest most unnatural part to sing.
This one is so impressive that I've never been tempted to learn it. Your tutorial is perfect, but for such an advanced thing haha Like, "I will demonstrate how to jump over a thirty-story building... Now YOU try!" Hahaha no thanks, mate, "A man's got to know his limitations" haha

This makes me regret all them years I smoked. I used to be able to reach Paul's range. Now, I can reach about 2/3.
Children, don't smoke.
Paul smoked too, but his voice is still good for his age.
Imagine where his voice would be if he didn't.
Victor England - sorry Vic, peer group rules, then its addiction.
Simone Gabellini yeah but he didn’t smoke *that* much.
AmberTheBeatles FanaticLol26 Havs you seen photos or footage of him? He and the rest of them smoked like chimneys. Paul started smoking around 13 too
Paul's high vocal on this is so bizarre melodically, and it really shifts around the vocal range making it extremely difficult. Incredible chord progression too in this song. Great effort breaking it down!

Dang! I didn’t know Paul could sing that high! He really has a wide vocal range!
