My only request for this movie is that if there will be a village, we need to have dan bull voicing the villagers, because the voice he made for them is so iconic, its basically considered the canon english villager voice.

I think you're forgetting element animation's villager voice, that's so popular it has had official endorsement many times
@@feritye767I think ElementAnimation’s voice is what they meant, as Dan Bull has worked with them multiple times before. However, it’s actually Dan Lloyd who voices the villagers.

I mean Minecraft has worked with element animation for a very long time for a lot of occasions, all the way back to that April Fool’s update that made everyone villagers.

In fact it's the thing that scares me the most but considering that the protagonists will probably enter the world of Minecraft (one on Twitter leaked that it will be similar to Jumanji) maybe they will keep them normal

This does prove promising though I’m really hoping they don’t go for a cheesy plot. This has a lot of potential and I’m excited for it but it’s a 50/50 chance with interpretations like these.
To be fair this movie was supposed to come out in 2016. So they’ve had a long time to make sure everything works and to hopefully make it good

Two things, first, change the old classic music back, this new one isn't it 😢; second, the sets are looking terrific as of now. Definitely should wait and keep an eye on how it performs on screen

If the movie starts us off with Steve being in our world first as a normal person, I better hope they give him Amnisa when he gets Isekia'd to Minecraft. That would make the Moive a tad bit wackier but, it's just an Idea, I'm not sure if it'll fit.

Imagine if thee mountains we saw are part of a joke where Steve just says something like "it doesn't make sense!!! There's literally a desert right next to a snowy area!!! Why!?!?!?
I don't think this will be worth it... I never thought about Minecraft's blockiness as purely stylistic, but more of a limitation that encourages creativity. If the blocks aren't 1 meter cubed and locked to a grid, it won't look like Minecraft to me. The movie has to have its own story; I don't see it representing Minecraft. At best it's a movie set in Minecraft, at worst it'll try to relate to the player base by showing blocky things and saying it's Minecraft.

Man, the new intro and outro really has that ‘80s game vibe and it honestly fits swimmingly.
BTW, the trees on set are almost identical to the ones in the game if not for the metal cubes. 😅
Im so sorry to say this, it feels bad mentioning it and perhaps you just wanted something new for the better but i dont think im the only one who wants back the most beautiful, outstanding, gorgeous and iconic intro that were kept in my many peoples mind for as long as you have been discovered. I like you man, and i like THE iconic intro.

One thing I've been wondering is: what's going to be the actual plot of a Minecraft live action movie?
Now I'm sure people will just say: *"Oh, it'll be defeating the Ender Dragon!"*
Okay, but how would the Ender Dragon be the antagonist in the story
Do you know what I mean?
It was easy enough to make a movie about Mario, because Bowser was the main villain in the original game. Defeating the bad guy is the main goal.
But in Minecraft, how is the Ender Dragon a bad guy? Does he like... mind control the endermen or something?

I reckon the film will play along the lines of an Old ( and official) Minecraft book I read. It’s called “the island” (its audiobook is narrated by Jack black coincidentally). Anyway I guy wakes up underwater in this weird block world where he has to fend for himself. He then later recalls people who used to play a video game like this. It will probably start like this

As odd as it seems, I'm actually more confident about this movie even tho it's live-action because they are clearly putting good efforts behind the project !
To be honest, at first I was that one guy who didn’t like the idea of a live action adaptation but the more I think of it the more potential I see and that could actually improve the concept of a realistic Minecraft world.
