THIS IS MENORCA | A Mediterranean Island Paradise
Being a local it's pretty cool to see a tourist's view of the island
Same
Love is beautiful little island! Thanks for taking us along 😁
E sem duvida uma ilha maravilhosa Ferias emMinorca, onde estive entre 29 de Maio e 5 de Junho sao inesqueciveis.Boas praias.Boa comida .Simpatia das pessoas.
Wonderful landscapes and scenery! Thanks for taking us along!
The water must have been so refreshing after hiking so long to find that perfect spot. With fewer people. Ahhhh!
"perfect spot"???? Fewer people and crystal clean water but too rocky and sea plants are everywhere in the bottom. Not for me...
Very exciting to see the new Island.. I love off the beaten path places.. Great video Gabe.. I miss Europe
I just looove these mini road trips of yours. Thanks for all the interesting historical facts about Menorca and the catalan language. Enjoy the place, can't wait to know what your next destination will be 😄 !
Great vid and music. What a beautiful country!
This Island is amazingly beautiful! The shot of you diving was great.. You are blessed to be able to do this. Take care and God Bless you!💫😃💫
The mountain, and the views it brings, remind me a lot of Mount Hooiberg in Aruba. Beautiful scenery!
Love the music in this Vid, also nice shot of you diving into the clear waters.
But this is Spanish and South American music..nothing in common with Balearic islands.
Thank you Gabriel! 😊❤ beautiful! Water is so inviting! Stay safe! 😊🙏
Such a wonderful place to visit, especially for families.
Long live Europe the best continent, I love Europe, I love UK, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Portugal , Greece , Austria, Scandinavian countries as well
You did not mentionend only rich and/or warm countries of Europe. You did not mention Eastern Europe. Don’t you like poor and cold countries?
@@VonRix Scandinavian countries are very cold in winter months and why would anyone like poor countries ?
@@dirkdiggler6230 That's just weak.
Adding this paradise into my bucket list! Thank you for this amazingly beautiful very informative video Gabriel!
Love such isolated places, so peaceful!
Gabriel another great vlog
Would love to visit either island, keep on keeping it classy.

Glad you enjoyed it, we have been going since 2011 and love the island
Continuing with the island theme....you should visit Corsica, Sicily, and Malta next

I’m lucky to have lived there for 3 summers . Love the island
Beautiful..

Great vid man...love all your videos!!!
I ENJOY YOUR TRAVEL CLIPS. I ALWAYS WISH YOU IN GOOD HEALTH. THANKS. TAKE CARE YOURSELF. GREETING FROM CALI USA.
my favorite shots are the marina but everything is amazing
Looks so chill compared to Mallorca. Thanks for taking us on your eternal journeys. Travel safe amigo.
Mallorca is mostly chill, not quite as much as Menorca but the whole island isn't Magaluf at all
@@FirstOnRaceDayCapri2904 yes, its a big beautiful island.however, I did have a 77 ford truck that did a pretty good job of kicking the bucket! Peace.
In Menorca the locals speak Menorquian....so Spanish or Menorquian is the usuallangyage spoken.
Menorca is one of the chillest places in Spain, probably in the world, in this island nothing ever hapends
It depends where you are, like son bou (it's a beach) is completely crowded especially in summer. According to my mother and my grandparents who are from Menorca, it didn't use to be like that like a decade or so ago, but the island is becoming more and more touristy
Wonderful scenery 😍😍
I enjoyed watching this video. Great job. Greeting from Switzerland
YES ! I told you so ! Menorca is so much more beautiful then Mallorca ! I wish you much fun there ! Enjoy !!!
Yeah and I like the vibe better, mellower and the cities of Ciutedella and Mao are both amazing. Way nicer than Palma or Alcudia.
That sky! You almost see the black of space
Great 👍 video as usual thank you for sharing this information with us
great hike at the end!
Beautiful Bro, loved it.
Gabriel Wow! It's been years since i visited Mallorca, your videos makes me wanna go back and see more of the cultural and historical parts of the country. Gabriel you and your channel is the best thing since sliced bread… be safe and take care of yourself always ♥️
You know hes not in mallorca right ?
It’s Menorca not Mallorca there is a difference
I love your videos. They make me feel like I explore with my own eyes. Thank you
Sweet.
Super film. I will spend my vacation there in a few weeks... 😄
I'm so happy you enjoyed my island! Come back again and I can show you some cool insight!
do you live in menorca?
Great tour....on the bucket list...
Having visited Menorca for several years, we love it so much we are going to buy a place there next year!
Oooh excellent ... i work with Bonninsanso Inmobilaria ..so i can help😁
amazing man, loved that beach at the end with the red/orange looking landscapes.. Actually looks very similar in many ways to here in the Algarve since all the buildings are also white and the dry rocky landscapes almost look identical.. I imagine the ocean is warmer there though, here is ice cold lol and it seems there is more sandy beaches here
This is where my family comes from 🥰
Wonderful island
Just for future references Gabriel. Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera and Cabrera form the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands. It has it's own independent goverment, as well as the Valencian Community and Catalonia. The three of them are politically independent but they share both culturally and historically a lot of traditions and of course, the language, which is called different in some areas: valencian, mallorquin, even menorquin...all of them are dialects of the catalan language, although there is a bit of controversy in this topic because there are those think that for example valencian is a language that has it's own roots and has nothing to do with catalan. I particularly think is a dialect, even though I live in a town in Alicante where valencian is spoken, but we don't say that we speak catalan, we say we speak valencian, but some people consider that a mistake. I can't see why but I think they're saying that because they have a specific political ideology, nationalist ideology and that's just shitty.
Nice video Gabe. Would love to see it in person in a near future.
I guess I've visited over 25 times. Just a chilled out island which is my version of heaven.
Hi! Just wanted to point out that you got a bit confused with the whole Catalonia things. It is confusing even for us Spaniards...However, just know that Catalonia, Comunidad Valenciana and Balearic Islands are different regions. They all share similarities in their local language; Valencian language derives from Catalan, and so does the balearic dialects, but they don’t belong to the region of Catalonia.
Beautiful area!
Genial Video !!🤙🏼
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Watching your vids in regular basis for years now, it was inspiring me for quite sometimes now. Keep it up, good luck.
By the way i have the same necklace i brought from the Philippines 😊
Cool and definitely.
I was there bringing the year so fine😍
Menorca is beautiful!
So very close to our hearts, as we try to go twice a year. You mention the language the 3 guys in Fornells are speaking, I know them as they run a great boat tour called 'Pachira Tours'. Was funny to see them, it made me feel I was there again, especially at the moment with this pandemic madness going on! So hope we get to go in 2021. Thanks for this :-)
Very cool.
Awesome vlog
I like your recent destinations; Andorra, Malta, Menorca. Interesting locations that don't seem to get a lot of publicity.
Another great video. I don't evny the heat, tho. The temperatures there have been tipping into the 40's
Great videos!
never been to menorca looks nice and peaceful
Living the dream
Hi Gabriel, Interesting History of that region of Spain, there are many expats Brits, living in Costa del Sol, A lot of influence wanting to avoid that cold overcast climate. Up north, you have the Basque region a combination of French and Spanish that want to break free of Spanish rule.
Cool hanging out with you...Thank you for epic ontent..
Thanks.
Thanks for your insights Menorca looks quite inviting, I would like to visit Sardinia or Corsa Italian and French islands often not talked about! Sicily is closest I got ... Stay safe and thanks for your videos
Thanks for the Catalan mention.
Looks nice.
love the way you show the actual destination so we get a real feel for it. I wonder if you had to chose a top 3 places to retire with a beach setting what would you pick ?
pretty crowded in high saison ...everywhere....- never been tehre...so much more relaxed! are you still planning on hiking around the island?
"Casa de el Toro" is Spanish. But it's true, through this whole videos I can tell that most of the people are talking in Catalan. Lovely land of my grandparents ancestors. Most go see some day!!!! Thank you for showing us this beautiful part of Spain😘♥️
Actually it says "Casal de el Toro" (casal, not casa). So I think it's in Catalan, but it's very similar to Spanish. On Wikipedia it says: "El Toro in Catalan, sometimes known by its Spanish name of Monte Toro, is the tallest hill of the island of Menorca."
@@GabrielTravelerVideos You're right!!! That "L" in the tile crack got me!!! Thanks for the clarification!!! And I've never heard of the story about that Virgin's apparition!!! So interesting!!! Will check it out!! Thanks!!!😊
@@huacamaya119 Si, no problema. :)
Did you get to see the "taules" in Menorca? Those are Stonehenge-esque stone monuments found on the Balearic island of Menorca
excellent vid love that place thanks
Nice!
hey Gabe Ilive in a world full of self doubt and loneliness . I so appreciate travelling with you. You are a dude. Just wanted to say thank You. All your hard work makes a huge difference to people you may never meet. But if you are ever in Ireland. Be my guest
Bella. Indimenticabile se bellissima una bella esperienza una bella vacanza ci tornerooo ciao menorcaaa maria
nice place!!
Wow...
heading to malta next?...it's so cool
Corsica must be your next destination 😉😉😉😉👍👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂🙂
Best place in the world.
I miss menorca
2020 delayed my bucketlist. Hope to be there in 2022
Go to the monastery in the middle Gabe, you can see the whole island.
Gabriel must be happy he has some swim goggles :)
Buenos Dias Bro✌
Again, superb. It's just like being with you. So many vloggers have got so arty farty, thinking the more cimanographic they are, the better it is, no. Thanks for keeping it real.
Looks like a great place for a inflatable mattress and tent with those high prices for rooms...
I was there too in Menorca
How much is the campground? I absolutely love Pregonda beach. You definitely have to check out Mitjana, theres a nice cliff jump off to the left and some nice big sea caves too!
$15 a night for the campground. Probably the cheapest place to sleep on the island, other than camping out for free. The hostel was 50 bucks for a dorm bed, insane.
What is the weather like out there? Assuming it miiiiight be the same as Mallorca? But there are micro-climates, so ...
14:55 u can also identify the trail thanks to little red and white symbols u randomly see across the island
Luv luv your music. These videos are getting better n better. So beautiful!!
Where u camp did I hear like a thousand locust??? Spanish guitar perfecto!!!😎😎🌻😎🌻
Thanks. It was cicadas I guess buzzing away at the campground.
Have you been to Corsica ? I read they have some wild hikes.
Not yet but thinking about it, it sounds really interesting.
Can I assume you are going to Tunisia 😍. I wish I'm there to show you around 😞
Gabriel Traveller just booked his accommodation in San Marino his next destination.
Gabriel, do you have any info on those ruins we see around 17.40? If it was a house the owner had a pretty nice view!
No there wasn't any info about that site, that I found anyway. But in the next video I'll be showing more ancient ruins and talking about them.
