This is so awesome ! I felt the pain of his passing even after all these years. Wish I could’ve been there in NYC to celebrate what his music meant to me, what his love meant to me. He was and still is a most brilliant man, and The Beatles are still FAB to me !
The experience is definitely something every person who felt the pain of his death should go to just once at least,the feeling you feel is unbelievable.
Back when it happened I remember the building being much darker and ominous looking before they started cleaning the surface. Lennon was crazy to leave Cynthia and Julian and would most likely still be with us today.

Another beautiful moment was when were standing close to the musicians and realized that there were many more people with guitars and other instruments playing along (20:09 for example). Just the fact that everyone was welcomed and accepted... that was really touching.

My friend and I visited NY in late 90's. I took pics at the Dakota entrance, of course, and we even got high at the Central Park. It was fab! We all miss John, don't we? Greetings from Moscow! :-)))

Thanks for your comment! As far as we know, they are just selling buttons with John Lennon/Beatles on them. Some also have their political standpoints/quotes printed on them. The booth didn't have any signs on it that indicated that the sellers are funding a specific cause. Hope this helps!

The Dakota was built in 1880 going by wakapedia haha.. these old world building are just magnificent.. so thank you for showing such glorious detail in your stunning work, its a pleasure watching this vid..
