Thank you for this video. My filter was a lil different. I have a 2014 freightliner cascadia with a DD15. This is the part number filter that was for my truck A0001420289 And i use a 1 13/16 socket. And thanks to all of the comments. Sometimes the comments are more helpful than the videos.
Would a dirty filter possibly cause a eec61 4364 fail 18 and eec 3364 fail 2 error codes. Mechanic told me probably need to change inlet and outlet box sensor but thinking start with cheapest options first and work my way up.
No but that would have been an excellent thing for Freightliner to do. Seeing as this doesn't get overtightened because its plastic and the other fuel/oil filters are much larger. Why not right?
I am pretty sure what he has is a 1 13/16 socket, pretty sure they dont make a 1 18/16 socket cause 18/16 would be like 1.2 I think its stamped wrong. Got to be a 1 13/16
Bro you’re supposed to lube filter oring with clean Def not the lube you get with the kit and this IS NOT DIY YOU HAVE TO PRIME DEF PUMP WITH DIAGNOSTIC LINK 8 after replacing filter
Watched this, then went out to my truck and changed my own DEF filter. Info spot on!
I think that socket is actually a 1 13/16 socket, or a 46 mm . The bowl nut is slightly larger than a 1 3/4 which the next size up is a 1 13/16.

Is 1 18/16” actually 2 1/8”?
I got a low def quality code, changed it did a regen & was good to go.
What kind of lube that was you using in the spray bottle?
Very help full and detailed information. thanks
Is this to be replaced when? When you get a code? Every certain miles? How would you know its clogged?
Every 200k/2 years recommended....
cant find the 1-18/16 socket anywhere..
Where do i get a 1-18/16 socket? Would you happen to have a link to where I can buy one?
Amazon
1 13/16
46mm
Harbor freight socket set
Whats the part number?
My cascadia 2017 Baldwin part# PE5272 is what is listing, but does not look like what you have in the video.
1-18/16 socket i just cannot buy this socket anywhere
I make these at my job. The oring and cup in the plastic cup is a foam in place process. These cups are a pain in the butt
How much does it cost to make one?
What’s that large socket? It’s not 1-18/16th because it’s not coming up anywhere. Please advise.
1 13/16
1 13/16 because if it was 1 18/16 it would be 2 1/8 and that is incorrect

mine 4364 18 was the 7th injector
Is it the same size socket as the oil filters ?
No but that would have been an excellent thing for Freightliner to do. Seeing as this doesn't get overtightened because its plastic and the other fuel/oil filters are much larger. Why not right?
nice work.
Do u need to prime it after installing new filter or blow some air?
@@inderveerbilling system prime it self every time you turn the key on
how much is that part cost ,$$$
I heard in the year 2021 it was $100 but in 2022 they raised the price to $150
I think you have the lines backwards
Does the def tank has to be empty or it doesnt matter?
It doesn’t matter
My truck consuming too much def i saw the water drops on the filter cover do i have to change that filter ? No def leaking anywhere
yes and inspect lines
Likely your def doser valve leaking
Was this for an eec 61 code?
Thank you hermano.👍good video..
I cant find that socket size anywhere
Harbor Freight Tools. Cheap.

I think it is actually a 1 13/16 or a 46MM. I know its slightly larger than a 1 3/4.
