Dave is a great player and great guy...I use to swap sets with Dave at the ABC Club in Arcadia Ca. Kirk is my go to guy for Soul and Blues inspiration!
Nice session!! Sorry I'm catching this 3 years hence but better late than never. I must say that I'm not familiar with Dave. I admire anyone that can do slide work well as I SUCK at slide! If I play slide with the guitar tuned to A or G, I can do fair but that's as far as I'm willing to go. Kirk, I met you once at a spot in Lakewood probably around 2012-2015. Can't remember the club/restaurant now gone. It was a nice Italian spot. I love you, bro. You're as good as they come. God Bless! 👍👌

Don't feel bad Melton. My Mom traded an old beat up 1977 Cutlass Supreme with a 454 cubic inch motor for a car battery, one day when me & my Father were out of town. She didn't have any $ that day & the battery on the old family Dodge Caravan had ran down & some guy she was able to flag down saw her coming & offered to buy her a brand new battery if she would sign the title over to him for nothing but a battery. We all make stupid mistakes.
