Very sad to hear someone lost their life, sending lots of love to their family. We had a blizzard warning in the mountains here and crazy winds the other night and we're expecting snow in the lowlands in a day or two. It's supposed to get down to 5 and 9 degrees overnight over the weekend also. I'm right by Tacoma and it just doesn't get that cold here, it's going to get really interesting for both of us this weekend. Pretty much the whole country is getting crazy weather this week. 😳
@@tahoemountainlife I'm not quite sure, the ski resorts got a lot, but were closed due to high winds. The forecast changed at the last minute, so we didn't get what we were supposed to. It's really hard to forecast in the Puget Sound because of the water and mountain ranges, it changes rapidly here. The areas around 1000 got around 8" or so and I'm at a little over 500 ft and got a dusting. I'm so pissed! LOL We'll see if we get more in a couple of days.
Glad they help. I won’t be to heavenly in the near future unfortunately due to work and pass restrictions for MLK. Heavenly looks to have opened the gondola which will help! I’m guessing that they still don’t really have enough snow to go off piste unless you want to wreck your gear or yourseld

How will be the snow fall on Friday evening driving from Sacramento?
It appears to be not too bad. Stormy but the big snow isn’t supposed to start until Saturday.
