    I just got the 2024 grizzly 700se and I must say the black silver and teal looks great. Real hard on fuel for the first 100 Kms I got on her hopefully she gets better on fuel when I change all fluids in engine and differential’s. I went from the 17 grizzly 708 and I must say the 686 with the square tire setup is much nicer but gives less stability on dirt roads when going fast. She feels more tippy than the garbage 708. My advice to anyone looking to buy any grizzly is to stay the fuck away from the 16 17 and 18’s or anything with a Subaru 708 engine as I bought mine brand new in 2017 put 8500kms on her and had to shim the engine and Yamaha also done engine work on it another 2 times before I just traded her In

    Dude, I ordered a 2023 Yamaha Grizzly SE with the 2500 Warn winch back in September and it still hasn't arrived.The reason I went with the SE is because the color scheme is so much better than the XTR color scheme.

      I'm making my decisions now before buying a four wheeler. The Grizzly is emerging as my favorite. I like the XT=R also, BUT, I don't like the black and ten look nearly as much as the blue and tan of the SE model. The SE wheels are much better looking, too. I'm getting OTD prices for SE models from dealers that add a winch. My decision is not ALL about how the unit looks -- but let's face it, we want what we like, and I like the SE's looks much better than the XT-R's.

      Can't go wrong. I had a 2011 550 that was stolen. Plenty of power, even with 2 adults on it. The independent suspension and electronic power steering make it so stable. I would be on the road and exit over the curb at an angle and it never felt out of control. I believe the only issue I had to repair was a $13 solenoid in the fuse box I got from ebay. I also was riding in a creek and sank it. Pulled it to dry land, put 2 to 3 oil changes through it until it was no more milky and it ran fine from then on.

    Just some advice, i wouldn't be putting water or food or even a cell phone in that compartment infront of the seat , that compartment especially in the summer gets extremely warm . Iv had my cell over from just sitting in there actually and your water would definitely be pretty warm aswell !

    the only real difference is the winch correct? i had a 2019 tactical black, which is basically a xtr as it came with the big tires/wheels and winch and i still have the standard 2022 grizzly. i prefer the tires and wheels on that one, grabbed better everywhere, except deep mud id think. plus being lighter, the standard grizz accelerated a little better too.

    • @BrickNick931
      @BrickNick931  Год назад +1

      Correct! I agree the different tires do make a difference but choose wisely over your intent with it. They are great mud tires but everyday trail and work use id go basic eps. But at that point better off going Kodiak 700. Hoping to cover some of the other models shortly.

      @@BrickNick931 i never rode the kodiak 700, but the grizzly seems to be the sportier of the 2. i agree, it depends on what you do as to what you get. dont get a SE just because it "looks" cooler! if the extra ground clearance and wet terrain capability suit your needs then thats what you get. look forward to the video

      @@BrickNick931 i had a 2019 Kodiak 700 EPS, it's No comparison to the Grizzly. The only people that say that haven't owned or rode a Grizzly. I traded the Kodiak for a 2021 Grizzly EPS with 12 " aluminum wheels and tires. First thing I did was change wheels to ITP wheels and Zillas stayed at 26" like factory. I've done AIS delete and a whiskeybent exhaust tip. I tried a EHS tuner but it made it run bad and basically does nothing for a stock quad. The whiskeybent tip adds a mean sound and adds a little performance and the AIS delete makes it run a little cooler. But if you like jumping and doing wheelies the Grizzly is the way to go, my wife got a 2021 Kodiak 700 EPS. It's better if your under 6 ft and don't want the snap of the grizzly. It has a different gearing , it has a 6% gear reduction compared to the Kodiak, wider control arms, taller seat and handlebars. I love the Grizzly compared to the Kodiak.

    That's like saying "Grizz SE vs Grizz SE with a winch". What is the point of comparing two identical quads? You should be comparing either of these with he EPS, or with the Kodiak or maybe a Kingquad.
    For me, the EPS is the best choice, as I don't want a mud tire on my quad.

  • @erikweisz299
    @erikweisz299 Месяц назад

    @evoeyerex3518 Yes, they can take a beating, but break-in period is still pretty important for them. I had an 07 Grizzly 700, and now ha e the 2024 Grizzly 700 XTR, and my 07 was WAY more durable. The new ones LOOK tough though.

  • @lcdubs7847
    @lcdubs7847 Год назад

    I gotta say, this years SE is my least favourite colours of all the Grizzly's. The tan just doesn't go well with the blue. I much prefer the XTR look, or the standard EPS.

  • @erikweisz299
    @erikweisz299 Год назад +2

    Didn't really say the difference between the se and the xtr other than color. Also, after you road them like that, I guess they aren't new anymore and didn't get a proper break in period. But I'm sure the dealer that's selling those won't mention that u instantly hammered the throttle on them without them even having a mile on them yet. For anyone reading this, I'd suggest buying a quad from anywhere OTHER than there. You'd probably get a longer lasting quad from some homeless tweaker in a back alley!
