Comparing them with the other 700 class machines would be awesome. The Grizzly 700, King Quad 750, Outlander 700, Brute Force 750, and maybe the Rubicon 520 or Rincon 680 for the heck of it. Keep up with the great content!
Great machines, drive them at the shop all the time. The power steering is got a pretty good feel to it and the power delivery is smooth all the way up. Never cared for the different color fenders, Kawi tried it on the 650-700 Prairie a while back and it didn't last long. Bought a used 4wd long bed GMC 2500 for 10k and I'll stick with my fleet of used atcs and atvs without any payments. Keep up the good work Stephen.
If you can night ride to show the headlight setup it would be appreciated. Most would probably add lights to do any significant night riding but the stock headlights at night would be nice to see. Thanks for all the great content!
That Grizzly looks nice! As far as testing goes I would like to see the following comparisons: -turning radius -trailer towing with a trail friendly trailer and say 750lbs or so in it -fuel mileage -winch usage/test if equipped -lastly a comparison of each machine going over the same obstacles (mud, big ruts, small short steep hill climbs, rocks, logs etc) from the same camera angle at each obstacle for each quad. This would let viewers SEE how each machine handles different situations. Just some suggestions that I think potential purchasers like me would like to see. That said I like the content already and I'm subbed!
Hoping to hold onto this unit for at least a few months. It'll never be as good as owning a machine to really understand maintenance/longevity, but we'll report on them when they arrive and leave.
You guys have a pretty good setup for ATV testing with the rock pile and such, do you have something specifically for turning radius or other agility evaluations? A woodland slalom between close-growing trees? A can-you-roll-it-back-upright test? A how-hard-is-it-to-pull-start test ( why on earth don't they have kick-start like motorcycles????? Why doesn't anyone make a kick-starter kit to replace the damn pull-starter????). Thanks for the great video!
@@dcsales2007 on a really old Polaris! You mean there's no more pullstarters?? What do you do if your battery dies? I must be old or poor or both! Hahaha! Thanks for bringing me into the 21st century on ATVs, friend. It's one less thing to worry about. Cheers!
I like the look of that Grizzly. It has a nice wheel and tire combo and sits nice. I think Yamaha should offer multiple engine sizes in the Grizzly like Can Am and Polaris do with their quads. The Wolverine 850 would be a nice upgrade. $18K as outfitted is a bit much.
you'll never get the manufacturers to allow you to run these bikes against each other. You'll have to find people with specific bikes to loan you. But id like to see the grizz, brute force, outlander 700, cforce 600, new alterra 650 and a sportsman 570 lined up for a day of testing.
are there any tips about shifting from low to high or 2 to 4 - that might be benifitial to the engine and not detrimental? or can you just shift about as you please?
Own a 2021 grizzly se here in Canada and it’s a solid unit in every way. I would really like them to put the 850 twin out of the wolverine x2 in it. I’d buy one asap if Yamaha did that!
Can you review the new Arctic Cat Alterra 600? They pioneered, in 2022, the rearward mounted engine with rear exit exhaust that Can-Am just put into their new Outlander 500 and 700. Thank you!
defintley like to se a compaisant with all the top brands and kick in the cfmoto CForces 800 1000 and then the gen 2 Zforce 850 or 950 vse can am trail rzr trails
no upgrades except the price.that machine kitted out like that is probably close to 20k out the door.it's the worst value for $$ on the market today,no matter how "good" it is. better off with any base 700 and build as you need.
I have to totally disagree The new colours for the grizzly are terrible One solid colour like the blue would be nice....the titan part 👎🏼 I have a 2017 black se that I'd like to trade for a newer machine but the colour selection is brutal Hoping the colours are better for 2024
thats what people really want to see, COMPARISONS. anybody buying this is debating between the competition. Hopefully the new outlander 700 will push these tired designs to get redone. I mean, look at the brute 750, even the power of that is pathetic. Honda 680! pathetic. How man times can they change the lipstick on the pig? I agree its a nice looking bike, but its time to get customers interested again. And the year over year price increases for a 10 year old model is just insulting.
I like Yamaha, much like my Toyotas, maybe boring to some but to me all the bugs are worked out and I have year after year of trouble free riding. The grizzly has seen pretty major updates over the years if you follow them. Big one in 2016, then an updated 686 power train for 2019. Not for everyone but some value reliability over flash in the pan features. The grizzly handles great, decent power and a transmission great for everything from hauling a trailer to trail riding.
It’s still better than the Honda rubicon so yah stay with the 686 because the really screwed up with the 708 trust me as I have first hand experience. Honda still uses the leaver hand brake. their stock wheels and tires are junk. Rims are ok I guess. Inferior transmission and engine power. Riding quality is nice on both but Honda really cheaped out on the screen. Honda has better stock bumper Honda has a garbage brake light. And Honda has a useless front and back racks as you can’t just use any accessories and require special accessories that lock into the racks. In closing Yamaha is in no need of an 850 Atv because the wolverine engine is a weird shape so can’t fit the grizzly frame unless you want to have your legs wide open and dangling lmfao!! Let the 1000’s and 850’s pay their maintenance bills while we enjoy what we have in Yamaha
That gun boot is the piece of junk there is, they made another style that was so much better. But anyway problem is it rattling and noisy getting it opened.

Great video love how you are doing all the new atv videos
I wanna see the side by side comparison with the new can am 700s.
Great video 👍 just picked up a leftover 2022 grizz SE so far it's been my favorite quad I've owned
Absolutely love all of the underside protection, sharp unit

I went with Honda because I wanted gears instead of cvt but yamaha makes some good atvs
Maybe a long term test to see how they compare to each other after a full season of riding.

I want to see a review about the new can am 700. I’m interested in that one from what I’ve seen so far
Some tight trail riding in snow ❄️🌨️
It’s a beautiful machine I just bought the limited edition Canadian version 50th anniversary I would like a review on the gps mine came pre-wired
It would be cool to see a review of one of those Argo 8x8s
Yes! Couldn't agree more. We're working on it.
I wish I had that many canadians.

We shift when stopped.
I'm interested to see competitor fuselage

Agreed. I priced a new Grizzly 700 eps se and it was over $18k out the door. I laughed and walked out of the dealership.
@@BC_Hunter To buy what? Good luck finding something quality wise like this
@@fenderboy68 You think Yamaha is the only quality ATV? Come on…
$18,000 plus tax is over $20,000 for a single cylinder grizzly!!!!? come on people, we got to stop buying these 10 year old bikes for these prices.
Well-proven machines are fine with me, but you are 100% correct about that price! There should be some serious discount on a nothing-new machine!
Exactly. People keep buying unfortunately
$13,699 new in 2021 here in Canada. Prices sure have climbed in 2 years. That coupled with higher interest rates adds up to a lot more money.
Then don't buy one. But if folks have the money and want one what is wrong with that?

I'm sure 😃😊 my wife would like to have a back rest pad on the front o that storage box 🎁 in the rear
