DRUNK in glasgow?....and they wouldnt let you in some bars?.....spencer!..that has to go on your resume...GLASGOW is the drunk capital of the world...its glasgows main export....its whole culture revolves around being drunk...so spencer, embrace your new found notoriety..."TOO DRUNK FOR GLASGOW!!!"...lol
Thank you, I'm honored 🤣🥴🍻
@@brianpoole4369 ✨🙃😅😂 ,, only bc americans are sometimes as drunk as twelve yr olds on lemonade shandy going to their first disco,, not all! some ! 🍺
Was because he's American
Awesome vlogs. Looks like you had a blast 😂❤
Honestly it depends what bars you trying to get into, the fancier the joint the scticter the rules are likely to be on drunkenness, yes even in Scotland
Whoever said only tourists eat sticky toffee pudding is smoking crack.
What she said.
i'm Scottish and I want some right now
sticky toffee pudding, not crack
Yeah that's madness, toffee pudding & ice cream is the food of the gods.

Love the way you have embraced british culture by getting pissed at every opportunity 😂
Sometimes the internet is an awful toxic place. You're doing a fantastic blog of the UK so far Spencer, and it's impossible to visit all of the places all of the time. You chose the places YOU wanted to go, which is the most important thing.
Thank you, they can talk all they want, it pushed the video out to more people :)
@EmbraceTheSuck21 I love that you just did it. You don't need a large budget to travel. Just the willingness to learn the culture you are visiting. Make friends so you can live like a local. With this mentality you can go anywhere ❤️
Don't give critics or trolls a moment's thought.
Life's too short to worry about the little things.
£50 is a lotta money for a Sunday roast
It looked abit hotel-y so id imagine you'd b expecting it to be up a lil but w two whisky cocktails too that means meal and a pud £26-£34 hmmm i see what yr saying but then its all gone barmy these days 🎉

Don’t worry, us natives love sticky toffee pudding too👍😁
Spencer, I don’t often comment but you are a natural at this. Funny, entertaining and so relaxed - you were born to vlog. I am loving this series of your travels around Blighty, and can’t wait for the next episode.
Thank you so much, I may have found my new calling ❤️
I think you have Spence. You’re very good at it.
*Its your Trip spencer not everyone elses* im just glad your enjoying yourself
Yes! He is allowing all of us to join him on *his* (not rehearsed, not put on) journey and *his* discoveries, I'm loving the style of his vlogs, just honest reality, with no bullshit, I'm glad he's even letting us watch these in the first place, he didn't have to, and I'm glad he seems to be making the most of it for himself ❤
I was told the Glasgow definition of drunk was " not able to lie on the ground without holding on ". Once out there I had to help some strangers lift a drunk man who was lying in the middle of the street. Somebody said the drunk was a QC with Beltrami & Co Solicitors.
That was Dean Martin
Take no motice of the Trolls! Enjoy Glasgow.
UK is hekking beautiful man, im so glad i live her, was born here and i truly realise just how lucky i am to be here
Dude, You're really making the most of your trip and really embracing the culture and the suck! It's really refreshing to see a vlogger who just embraces everything rather than focusing on London and fish and chips!
Don't usually comment on blogs like this but Spencer your vlog is so down to earth and based not a bit touristy
Thank you, I think I've found my new calling!
Only tourists eat sticky toffee pudding?
A. No they don't!
B. Even if that was true, you were, in fact, a tourist!
As a Brit(Scot) I’m embarrassed that people are giving you shit. You’d need a couple of months to see it all. Every corner of the UK has history in abundance. I’m glad you enjoyed yourself and look forward to your next visit.
Me too man, it would be impossible to please every viewers wishes, so can people just please lay off him and enjoy watching Spencer discover the UK in his own way? 😅
I'm loving the style of his vlogs as theyre actually real, not rehearsed, not put on for the camera, he's basically allowing us to join him on *his* journey, and I'm loving that.
I agree with you. It's his trip and he should & is visiting where he wants. Good on ya Daniel
As a Scot (Scot) I agree
Same.
Scot’s are the worst lol
My wife just came back from Glasgow and she was blown away by how nice it was!... She had a lot of preconceived ideas about it but was very pleasantly surprised how nice a lot of the city was.
Glasgow's no different from other big cities, it's either all shit or all sugar. You have wealthy areas like Newlands sat next to poorer Pollokshaws. The latter has had some redevelopment these past yrs. We have plenty attractions for visitors and many have free entry. 👍
Glasgow is amazing. There’s a reason a lot of movies use it for Old NYC
Being from Glasgow, I love the fact you missed your train to Inverness! So Scottish "aye, too pissed, fuuuuck that!" 😉🤣
I once met a Greek guy in Glasgow who used to live in Edinburgh.
As a Glaswegian I was curious so I asked him what the difference is between Edinburgh and Glasgow, and he said Edinburgh is cleaner but Glasgow has the best people.
Take from that what you will.
Most people say that, Edinburgh has more to look at if you're a tourist I would have thought
Love Glasgow
I went to Scotland a couple of years ago, loved Haggis! Had it every morning for breakfast with eggs and beans.
I've been to Glasgow and loved it there. The people are lovely .
As an English woman living in Aberdeen for over 30 years, you wouldn't want to bother coming up here that's for sure ! And I can say with certainty that Glasgow and Edinburgh are both amazing vibrant cities and we never get bored of visiting them. Your holiday, you can go where you fancy !
Whomever told you only tourists eat sticky toffee pudding is a liar! 😂 it’s one of my favs when I go out 😁
Fair play Spencer for doing the platform stunt
Wow, £50 is dear for Sunday dinner but sticky toffee pudding is great.
I amazes me why some people will troll for the sake of it. Can't have anything decent going on in their lives.
Big up Spencer, loving these vlogs
Behind every negative comment is a good person having a bad day, when I respond back in an equally harsh way it's just a reminder that they're talking to a human being like themselves ❤️
@@EmbraceTheSuck21
👏 👏 👏
Sure... but not every negative comment is trolling. It's very, very easy to call someone a troll. When you label someone a troll, its like you're pressing the "I don't have to listen to your opinion " button. Which can be a lazy way of dismissing people.
@stephenpine2448
I don't like people criticising Spencer for the sake of it or just to get a reaction. That man along with Daniel have got me through some difficult times .
Spencer is having an adventure of a lifetime and I don't want people bringing him down

top stuff Spencer, wish I could give more thumbs up for the shout out to Bourdain, incredible bloke.
I thought that starter was Cullen Skink at first, the greatest starter known to mankind!
Love Cullen skink.
Nice to remember Anthony Bourdain RIP ❤
Pity he hooked up with the Racist Janey Godley the kiddy socialist, eating in one of Glasgow's most expensive restaurants talking about the poor.
A mere blip from Anthony.
Hi loving your uk vlogs. I love Scotland. My son worked & lived in Glasgow a few years ago. He loved it. Made mates for life there. Although they do say Glaswegians & scousers are very alike. I’ve actually never been myself but I will one day. Love the vlogs keep them coming . Much love from Lyn in Liverpool UK 🇬🇧
Don't take notice of trolls just enjoy the trip, I live in the UK have a good time buddy,
As a Scandinavian I've always wanted to visit Scotland. I don't even know why to be honest but everytime I see footage from Scotland I want to go there.
Well Glasgow does get a mention in Super Trouper.
Have a little swim over

You're always welcome.
Welcome to Glesga Spencer Joyce
Ignore most of what trolls say (hell, it's always interesting to see what people say). But reality is your vlogs are very good. If I say so myself, I'm intelligent, curious, and have remarkably good taste. I deliberately went to youtube to see if you had uploaded. I think this worth more than any 10 troll comments. :)
Sticky toffee pudding is lovely. Have no idea what fools would say it is only for tourists. Utter nonsense.
I'd say try Haggis properly...and not in batter. Hell, I don't think I've done it, but can imagine it would be too filling or 'heavy'.
I applaud the drunken foolishness and missing one's train! Proper job!
You've done a lot on this trip, and I get you had to a fit a bit in. On your next trip, kick back, see Oxford, find some gorgeous country village pubs, perhaps watch a game cricket. No, you don't need to understand. The picnic, booze, and a lovely summer day on the village green is a treat in itself.
But it's scottish so it has to be battered
Getting haggis further up north as part of a meal in a pub/restaurant is the best way to try it for its full enjoyment. Usually served with a whisky sauce. The chippy versions aren’t bad but they aren’t the best.
Are you Cornish by any chance?
@@jerribee1 not sure if that was directed at me, but I’m Glaswegian.
Another banger..glad your having fun and not bothered about missing trains etc and being a robot and going bed early to go to the next place. Part of the fun is being spontaneous! Getting pissed with Kiwi in Glasgow you”ll probably never forget……well some of it 😂
Your hair looks awesome without the tie!!! ... just saying...
Nar man. I'm English and i friggin love a sticky toffee pudding
Not only tourists eat sticky toffee pudding. I love it and always get it if it’s on the menu.
Glasgow is a fab place, wise choice. Hope you understand the accent.
Says haggis was 8/10 but the face says different 😂
Battered haggis from a chip shop is not really the gold standard as these things go,

You are in UK. You made it. Hurray!!!!!
Sticky toffee pudding is for tourists? What a load of bollox.
The train from Euston to Glasgow goes up the West coast though the edge of the Lake District. The Kings Cross train goes up the East coast.
Northern half of the east coast line is absolutely stunning. Must have done it 100 times and I never get bored looking out of the window.
Love these vlogs! Your narrator voice is so relaxing. Don't listen to people who give you shit for not having the same itinerary they would have. The important thing is that you saw stuff you wanted to see, and had fun doing it.
Hi Spencer 👋 👋
I've been a subscriber for almost a year now. I've been loving these posts of your trip! I took that same train to Scotland. The scenery is so beautiful!
I had to go to Inverness during lockdown, and then two hours further to Gareloch to film the movie "Out of Darkness," a Stone Age horror film that was released in the U.S. a few months ago. It's set 45 million years ago. The cinematography really captures its timeless beauty. Being there was amazing.
I played the creature in the woods that was terrorizing everyone, btw. 😅
So much fun running wild in scotish wilderness 😅
I love the fact you love the UK.
I'm from the Glasgow area. Loved seeing buildings and such in the background and being able to say, "Oh, I know where he is!" 😁
Glasgow is definitely the best place to miss your train , can't wait to see a little unplanned footage
Great video spencer look forward to the next one
U have to visit kelvingrove museum, not only is there mural tours, but music city tours of Glasgow. Use the subway mate.
I’m really not sure why people who are neither taking the trip not paying for it believe they have the right to dictate which locations you visit…especially when there are enough locations in every country to keep anyone occupied for a lifetime of holidays and it gives you an excuse to come back as often as you can both afford to and want to.
In saying that, I did think that you might have gone to King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut whilst in Glasgow, seeing as how it was where Oasis blagged their way into playing and subsequently got got a record deal. But it’s also really no big deal if you didn’t.
As beautiful as Edinburgh is though, Glasgow was the closest city to where I grew up and it has a character that Edinburgh could only dream of. Pretty much the entirety of the West Coast of Scotland is just breathtaking and if you get the chance to on a future visit, the sheer beauty of many of the towns on the Clyde coast are worth a visit. Like Largs, where you could visit Nardini’s and get some amazing traditional Italian style ice-cream…which you can also get at The Bluebird Cafe in Gourock or Orangefields in Greenock but Largs is very much a day/afternoon trip location for many who live in that general part of the country.
I know that my last couple of paragraphs might come across as hypocritical to the first but I’m not meaning it that you are wrong to go to other places, just hopefully giving you other places to consider that your might never have heard of otherwise. Either way, I’m sure you’ll have a great enough time on your next trip that you’ll soon be planning your third.
Kelvin museum has a full size spitfire inside and a Salvador dali painting
I am sooooo proud of you and your travels dude!!
Glad you came to Glasgow!
Welcome to Britain 🇬🇧
Glasgow is fucking awesome 😎
Day six, the hardcore drinking has set in. Things seem to be moving along nicely.
Welcome to the UK.
He was in Glasgow, it was inevitable.
Hey, i'm from Edinburgh. What matters is you're in Scotland. Glasgow's great too. 👍
I'll be back next year & Edinburgh is on my agenda 😉🏴
Love you guys! Love your reactions! Hope you get recognition!
Welcome to Glasgow bud. I apologise for the weather in advance.
As a native weegie? Edinburgh is wonderful and definitely worth a visit one day - but you made the right choice with Glasgow! ;P
Also, it's not just tourists that eat sticky toffee pudding. My Aberdonian wife loves it and searches for it on every menu.
Fàilte . . . And Haste ye back (welcome and come back soon).
Shame about missing the train to Inverness. As a railwayman, who works that route:
1. It would've been nice to potentially bump into you
2. That's a beautiful line
3. There's so much to do and see in the Highlands. You think having to walk alot of places was tough in Swansea? Come back over and I'd happily guide you up a Munro or two and take you to a ceilidh.
Definitely check out comedian 'Danny Bhoy's sketch on Ceilidhs if you and Daniel want a good laugh.
Spence ignore the crap, you just enjoy your holiday. You only so many hours a day and I think you are filling them fruitfully.
Who the F said only tourists eat sticky toffee pudding?!?!?!? 😂😂😂😂😂
I got mad at that one- I started questioning my own sanity cos I love it! Started thinking shit am I the only one then 😂
Great to see you here,I hope you have a wonderful trip…please ignore the shitty weather though.
I like the american being drunk ubder the table around the uk style to this. Really fubby and entarainong keep it up! 💯
Lol, another good video, keep them coming, great stuff.... 8-)
Have a heart. Have a haggis!
Keep going dude.. Great to see you in Glasgow... Natural man in a natural city..👍
the uni cafe , brings back memories .
I love both Glasgow and Edinburgh, if I were you I'd have stopped for even an hour in Edinburgh, even just to head out of the station for quick look at Edinburgh city centre, the view from just outside the station is fantastic. Glasgow gets so much stick when it's a brilliant place to visit. The Bothy is one of my favourite restaurants, pricier than where I usually go, but worth it in my opinion. Every time I have friends visiting from another country I take them there. I wish you'd tried the haggis at the Bothy cos it's very nice. But they do a fantastic roast too so I'm glad you enjoyed that! Haggis from a chip shop is nowhere near as good as haggis, neeps and tatties in a restaurant. Next time you make it to Scotland you should jump on the train an hour north of Glasgow to Loch Lomond to catch a wee glimpse of the Highlands.
Well done Spencer enjoyed that a lot .
Glasgow has a really good doughnut shop in the city centre called Tantrum Doughnuts - Gordon Street.
50 quid for that meal, no way any scotsman is paying that must just be the tourists.
Glasgow ❤️
@2:22 Your first view of York, which has got to be on the itinerary for your next visit. I'll buy you a pint.🍻
Glad to see you enjoying your journeys in the United Kingdom

I’m from Edinburgh, but Glasgow is a much better city to visit imo😌 Plus Edinburgh is packed with tourists this time of year, so Glasgow was the better choice😁
Much love laddie😚💙🏴
And the people are nicer and funnier!
Also.. Edinburgh is more for people into history and architecture n stuff, but something that might interest you as a Harry Potter fan. If you do come to Edinburgh, check out Greyfriars Kirkyard.. voted most haunted graveyard, but if you have a wee look around, some of the headstone’s are where JK got the names of the characters in the books. (ie: Tom Riddle, McGonagall, Sirius, and the Potters, to name a few😁)👌🏼

Spencer it's been a great pleasure watching your vlog through the UK. Please ignore the trolls! You went a few places slightly off the beaten track and credit to you for doing that! I see Beamish is coming in two episodes/vlogs time. One of my all time favourite places to visit since I've been little. Looking forward to getting back there to see the completion of the 1950s town and after that the Georgian coaching inn where you'll be able to stay overnight! Keep up the great channel!
Glasgow over Edinburgh any day! 🏴
How the Fu*k can you get so pissed they don't let you into a pub in Glasgow, holy sh*t! 😂
The trolls can shut their geggie(mouth), Glasgow is far superior in every way to the one street with a castle toon. Loved you are eating your haggis from the Blue Lagoon right outside where I used to work, it wasn't a greggs then but American Express. Right across the road was a cracking wee Chinese called China Sea. Looking forward to the next vlog. Too drunk to get in a pub, LEGEND!
