another thing you could do is try to put the divider at the end and cut the pieces using that so they can still be good with less of a crunch if you dont like the crunch on the edges

It’s not actually a concern. I made a couple dozen batches with a similar pan before it eventually broke, and they never came out as edge pieces. I have no idea what she did here to make them like that.

i have this and its pretty nice having the brownies all equally cut and crispy but its such a hassle to wash the whole thing bc you have to get in between each piece of metal on the grid element and yes the batter seeps under a bit so you have to get it off the bottom element too
