@super hessu I guess drifting an AWD or 4wd is not as bad as drifting a RWD car, and also the Audi Quattro is very front heavy and understeers quite often take a look at 0:40 where he turns the wheel more but the car doesn't turn more, and 0:50 where he had to chill a little to make it turn. Maybe he was drifting just to avoid the annoyance of that understeer haha.
Turbos rev.the turbo isnt the limiting factor its cam lift and fueling and flywheel weight. Modern road cars are set up for midrange torque. Street driveability.
@sugarnads you absolutely can overspeed a turbo, after x amount of boost and pressure they lose efficiency and blow hot air. Turbo sizing to power goals and displacement is how this this rips up into the high rpm.

not just that, but these are 4WD, not AWD, which means there is no hand brake. If you notice the lack of any hand brake at all, the only way to rotate a car like this is to either flick it in, or power it around. not exactly an easy car to drive, because they only really turn well under power, but the power easily overwhelms the tires grip.
@@chubbysumo2230 Pretty sure it was AWD as the power went through a center viscous coupling differential with the Audi S1. A 4wd system would mean that it would be mechanically linked through a standard transfer case or locking differential.
