Use headphones for the best experience ❤️
I tried to keep the stereo nature of the instrumental while only splitting the vocals. It's incredible how they can make the English translation sound so similar to the Japanese original...
Please go and check out the original videos:
    Japanese 「アイドル」: • YOASOBI「アイドル」 Official...
    English 「 Idol 」: • YOASOBI / Idol (「アイドル」...
I swear this is the only time I would ever upload these kinds of things... I mean, it's 【推しの子】 fault for being so good, both the manga and the anime...

Even though I don't like the English version as much, I recognize the effort that's gone into keeping so many of the sounds the same. And not just the big obvious ones. They went in and lined up "誰も /dare mo/" with "that emo(tion)". Props for that. I suppose the dedication to mirroring phonemes like that could have contributed to some of why I don't like English version as much, but translating songs is already a task anyway.

Fact: The world’s oldest wooden wheel has been around for more than 5,000 years
It was found in 2002, approximately 12 miles south of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, and is now housed in the city’s museum. Radiocarbon dating was used to determine the wheel’s age, which is somewhere between 5,100 and 5,350 years old. Closer to home, these are the oldest tourist attractions in every state.

I got chills right at the start of the chorus from how well they rhymed the English translation lyrics. In JP, the chorus starts with" 誰もが" (dare mo ga) and in EN it goes "That emotion..."
"dare mo..." and "that emo-..." hits so hard together.
Then in the same line they rhyme the next part:
”誰もが目を奪われていく” (Daremo ga me wo ubawareteiku)
That emotion melts all hearts, all eyes on you.
"目を" (me wo) rhyming with "melts all."
