Also, yes Nathan is speaking Brazilian 🇧🇷 Portuguese - a very different accent to the Portuguese 🇵🇹 but the same words. This app currently offers Brazilian Portuguese only.

Just please dont use the brazilian portuguese app you were using in the video, please! Portuguese from Portugal is a bit different from Brazil and the pronounciation/accent are very different. Thanks.

I’m glad you guys enjoyed Portugal 😊 just a little note: the traditional pastel de bacalhau doesn’t have cheese in it. That’s a new version made more for turists. But you ate the traditional one at Padaria Portuguesa! The one you said that seemed to be dry fish and potatoe… well, it is, bacalhau! 😂 Those are the ones we portuguese make at home 🫶🏻

I only watched your video in Lisbon after the video learning Frances to travel in morocco, I was born in the district of lisbon (Atlantic Silver Coast - Lourinha 60 km north) and lived more than 10 years in Lisbon. Thanks for spreading Portugal, come back more often, there's a lot to discover. 😀👍

Always frustrated that you cannot find a learn Portuguese app that has native Portuguese as opposed to Brazilian Portuguese. The accent is a bit different and in some cases the words and sentence structure varies. I've been trying to find something for my wife to use with little success. Hoping to find the reverse option, Learning English apps when we go to Portugal in a few days. The app being used in this video is teaching Brazilian Portuguese and the accent would not teach you how to speak like a local but rather a Brazilian tourist. However, your Brazilian pronunciation is quite good.

There's a famous american youtuber who studied PT-BR from one of those apps and once he got very good at it he decided to come to Lisbon to put his linguistic abilities to the test. Let's just say that reality hit him like a rock because he couldn't understand what we, the portuguese, said.

Are you Portuguese? You must be! Brazilian Portuguese is one of the most beautiful, melodic languages in the world! I have heard that from various nationalities and my major was linguistics.

@@SERGIO-cr6uy it is not so wrong! Yes, both languages have differences, but people from Brazil and Portugal still can understand each other. I learned British English and went to the U.S. Not wrong! Just different! He might prefer Portuguese from Brazil, which is waaaay more beautiful (and I can say that, because one of my grandmothers was Portuguese and even called me "rapariga"). We need to stop labeling certain things as wrong and right, like a lot of Portuguese people think all Brazilian women are "putas" and Brazilian men are not well educated (yes, I saw that in many occasions and it is very sad!)

Lisboa is now a huge tourist zoo. Super expensive towards to rip off, over crowded by thousand of tourist, with long queues everywhere to visit interesting spots.
Believe me when I say it's become an unbearable city to visit (and live in), especially if you want to experience quality tourism and hate crowded cities.
You should name this video as "25 places to eat in Lisbon". Make good vlogs.
