In the end that's an awesome story, now someone in Hong Kong is driving around a 2004 US spec Gallardo with a 2005 Euro spec Gallardo engine and might not even know!
We need to find him! His car has some great stories.
That was also crashed by an ex-Atlanta cop and in several rapper music videos. What a car to own!

The fact that you were able to build your business and handle the diversity of what happened in this story is pretty amazing. Most ppl would pack it up, close the business, go bankrupt etc. after an incident like this. Finding an engine in another country and having it shipped was really smart.

I generally don't give credit to sales folks or business man trying to make money from every transactions, but I find that some of Ed's business thinking and sales strategies presented in vinwiki videos are genuine and valuable. That used motor swab and pretty much selling the heads for 5k and getting the engine parts back... Well done

This was a good start to my day before work.
I remember reading about someone who rented a Contach back in the day. The story was the guy had picked the car up on Friday afternoon and returned on Monday. Sounds like he had a banging weekend but the car only had a few more miles on it than when it went out. Did the guy park it in his driveway and drool over it for 2 1/2 days? Turns out when the detailers got to working on cleaning it up for the next client they found fibreglass resin in some of the harder to reach body lines. The guy had made a mold of the body over the weekend.

I really enjoyed having it shaved. I had started dating Megan, who I ended up marrying a few years later, a few weeks before that picture was taken. She definitely hated the bald head so I grew hair.

Good Stories, I have a few racing stories and some Gallardo Stories out here in the West. My 2007 Gallardo was "Impounded for the Crown" at the Vancouver Canada border for "temporarily importing a Lamborghini into Canada". I had driven it up there to show it off at the Whistler Bobsled track where I had some friends. It cost $30K to get it out of impound.
