More new characters introduced in this episode. I particularly love the new bodyguard from FX’s Father. Tall dark and handsome, also as straight as a blade . But a bit dim. Hopefully he’ll wise-up from FX... 😅
This is a general comment related to the drama, up to the current episode. This drama is a diamond. I did not expect to see the polish and shine in a costume C-drama production. I haven't complained about anything, except the one minute quick flashbacks. The editing and music usually drive me up the wall, when I watch the C-dramas. Finally a film editor who knows his professional job. The music composer is very versatile, and knows how to enhance the scene with the BGM. The director is really staying on top of all department heads, and the output is exceptional. The martial arts scenes are well choreographed; the quality of martial arts films.

I was watching the English subtitle and at the same time, listening to the Chinese conversation and I found some of the funny details really couldn’t be translated as precisely as what they means in Chinese. I never paid any attention to the design of the actor’s lines before but from now ,I started to admire the talent of the original author and this drama’s scriptwriter.
lois hou I feel sad that some words are hard to translate in English. My husband didn’t get it when I laughed so hard. But actors did great jobs too. Lot of facial expression. Good movie
I noticed in with Korean and Japanese also...A great deal of art and love for the piece is lost when you watch dubbed instead of subbed versions The loss is more profound in romances and tragedy.
Believe it or not, the Thai dubbed version is funnier than the original--there are tons of added side comments/jokes and all the voices match the characters (except for the king's sister, the dubber's voice was "scratchy.") E.g. two scenes that hurt my stomach for laughing so hard was ep1 when he hits his future master in the head and when that dude inspects his low-rent assassins' weapons. In the ENG sub version, those two scenes were only ok funny. ngl, if it wasn't for Sword Snow Stride, I wouldn't have given JOL a chance--glad I did though!
So sad saying goodbye to all his loved ones. The amazing uncle Wu is finding mysteries at his mom's impenetrable mansion and fighting grand masters. Given how dangerous all these missions are they are still filled with a lot of humor.
Wang Qinian's character is very fun , it's cunning , shameless,sly , materialistic but very loyal and friendly.i loved it when he was asked to go and take care of Xiao En 😂😂oh what a treat it was .great acting .great serie🎉🎉❤
