When I was 21 I was set up by one of my co-workers with her brothers friend who happened to be a cop on the National City police force. He was very handsome so I agreed on a date. We texted for a while then went on a date. During that first date I picked up weird vibes from him like he was very infatuated with me so fast and he was very much so a machista in his demeanor, something in my gut told me to get away from him so of course when he asked me out again I was scared to tell him no so I just acted busy. A couple days after while I was driving I get pulled over and it was him. I was sooooooo scared. He said that he noticed my car so he stopped me to say hi. I acted charming and nice but I was terrified and couldn't wait to be let go, and I really did feel like I couldn't just go because obviously he was on patrol in uniform in his car. I felt so violated in that moment. I eventually ended up telling him I wasn't interested and he reacted furiously and went off on a verbally abusive rant via text that made me feel so threatened that I reported him to the police. Idk what happened afterwards but I pray he never got the chance to cause any woman any harm. Theres some evil characters on the force that go in just for the power. My heart goes out to these women.
I have two friends who BOTH got pulled over at separate times in the same city by cops who just pulled them over so they could give them their numbers... a disgusting abuse of power. How do you say no to a cop pulling you over? They would definitely find a reason to “punish” you for it.
I applaud every woman whose come forward to bravely testify, expose, and hold these animals accountable. I pray for Justice for every victim and I hope you are all eventually rewarded for your courage🙏
They absolutely do. They use it to their advantage. That’s why some get into it in the first place. I’m a former police dispatcher and the daughter of a police officer. It’s very easy to avoid a domestic violence charge when you’re the police.

The comments on this are super mean, but ive been single for 8 years so I cant relate. I feel like most bad relationships become abusive if you keep trying to make it work. If you car is breaking down and sputtering; the more you drive it, the more problems it will have. Its best to just leave. Men especially, leave SUPER OBVIOUS context clues within the first month of dating, which most people ignore, instead of using it as a chance to find someone else.
This is why stalkers and police officer abuse must be looked into more and not be ignored. The victims need to stop being ridiculed for something they are a VICTIM of. Perpetrators are always being protected for no reason. These abusers need serious therapy. A lot of men need therapy I think. More men just keep contributing to femicide and it's gotten worse during COVID19 which is sad but more people are talking about it which is good. But still needs more attention

My ex husband is a psychopath with a badge and he’s surrounded by corrupt, tyrannical thugs who care nothing about laws- just power, control, & vengeance.
Uh the answer is yes and they skirt the consequences and get it covered up. NPR did a huge story on it. And they get the records scattered all over so it’s hard to track down how many cops actually abuse their partners. Edit- I’m talking about the US just clarify

It is really terrible when people use their position to pressure + abuse others. Nobody wants to experience that. Unfortunately, such people are often covered. I am sorry that you had to experience something so inhuman + burden your life. The perpetrators should be punished much harder + convicted instead of just looking the other way. All sisters + brothers who are needed, hold on + look for a person who can help you, because you are not alone. 😢
Cops serve and protect government and politicians don't ever believe that they are there on your better behalf Remember anything you say will be used against YOU at all times Other than that every once in a while there's a good person but don't get it twisted either
Thank you. Nobody hears us until we are contacted about violence towards someone they’re arresting. We are called to testify on behalf of the person who was hurt. Then we face the worst retaliation for trying to help. We are the first red flags. And no one hears us. To think I could have stopped what happens to the man that was injured. It breaks my heart and it hurts.
Not surprised one bit by this, I've had run ins with the old bill from time to time over the years, and it's blatantly obvious that **SOME** of them are in the job for the enjoyment of control and power. Alot of police officers are good hearted people who joined the force to help other people, but there's a small number who join so they can feel like "the man" or "the boss"... it's such a damn shame.
Absolutely correct. A few cops where I live were absolute terrors in their younger years. Been to jail, charged, caused a ruckus, has a record and are on the force today. I avoid all police whenever I can. You just never know in these times what can happen. Power hungry, ego driven, out of shape, cops.
But like why make a video about something people have been telling you for decades. Do police abuse their power ? Yes. Do police do things to keep their partners quiet ? Yes.
Let’s draft police randomly from the community, just like we do with jurors! How can justice be blind when the hiring process is so biased towards people with exactly the wrong personality traits. You can’t tell me that if you randomly picked people off the street you would get a group as prone to authoritarianism and violence and corruption and abuse of power as the people who actively seek out this career.
Power corrupts! There needs to be an incentive to attract people suited for the job (i.e. non-power hungry abusers or extend training, with an emphasis on deescalation and non conflict, beyond 18-30 weeks) or regular mandatory psychological counseling wherein the counselor has the power to temporarily relieve the officer if they display any 'red flags.' Checks and balances are necessary when one holds authority.
Here is the thing. Professions with the highest percentage of PTSD or stress-related issues tend to have the highest rates of domestic violence. That is why police, prison guards and military vets have the highest rate of domestic violence. Doctors, firefighters also have a higher than average rate. It all comes down to the mental health issues that the profession leads to. But let's focus on cops only because, why not. Military vets earned the right to beat their loved ones for fighting for this country. Right?
this is also why it’s so hard for women who are not related to police to report domestic abuse. like if many cops are abusers, are they really going to take someone else’s abuse case seriously?
I know someone who's sister was killed by her husband who was a cop. He claimed that she tried to kill him and of course the police were on his side. He did have a gunshot would to his hand but we suspect that he did that to himself, a non-life threatening injury. He should have at the very least been tried for manslaughter but he got nothing. Unless you have something on camera it's your word against theirs and that pretty much means your word counts for nothing. People who abuse the authority entrusted to them are the worst kind of hypocrite. It's cowardice from people who tell others to take responsibility for their actions when they don't.
Drew Peterson's case is the perfect example of a cop abusing his power while terrorizing his wives. He was a sergeant for the BolingBrook police department who literally killed his ex wife and staged her death. The ironic thing is he was trained in staging crime scenes for training and used the tactics in staging his first wife's murder and made her death look like an accidental drowning at first. Then his current 3rd wife "disappeared" or "ran off with another man" and after 10 plus years has never been found. Meanwhile the wife that was murdered, Kathleen Savio, was constantly calling the police and filing restraining orders and the BolingBrook police department enabled and assisted Drew in covering up the abuse and would destroy the police reports. Now his dumbass is sitting in prison for the rest of his life for the murder of his 2nd wife.. and she even said all along that drew was going to kill her at some point and if something ever happened to her, it was drew who did it.
Our chief of sheriff police captain Gladieux he was watching over our annual county fair, had gotten drunk an stayed late an was relieving him self in fair staff portapotty... an a teenage volunteer didnt know it was a cop, so he knocked on the door telling him. it wasnt a public restroom & he need to leave... so the sheriff with his massive ego busted thur the door tell the volunteer he could be where he wanted, that he wasn't in the place to tell him what to do an the sheriff punched the teenage volunteer in the face leaving a fractured nose & a black eye... The county didnt do a dang thing to him even tho the community cried out for justice for the 17 teen year old male... a lawsuit took place costing our city 500k dollar and the captain Gladieux got to keep his job with no legal ramifications!!! Absolutely disgusting if this was your average person he would have been going to prison... The policing system in America is corrupt an covered in favoritism for the gang in blue & it needs to stop!!! The laws of the land that we abide by cover everyone!! Then the police dont have a clue why there is such a miss trust & distaste for them!!!
Threatening to call the cops should be illegal, especially when the police have been lied to for years through the reports. Any officer sent here will read the false records and then call me bad names like schizophrenic or they’ll arrest me.
Now think about a world leader and what they could do to their spouses. Power brings delusion of superiority, that tends to end like this, horrible. My mom was abused for 11 years straight from the time I was 10 years old, watching cops leave after they say "they can't do anything" was the hardest part, I felt so helpless as a little boy, my childhood ended when I was 11, I had to fight a GROWN drunk pill coked up abuser to pull him off my mother countless times. Idk how a man can be so weak to hit a woman, sick minded fucks!
This is not a secret. There is another issue. If the system has a policy where the office will be fired or not get retirement benefits the abuser uses that against her and keeps her in the relationship. They also have the training to bait you into a reaction, they of course will document that and you will be held accountable. Victims also have a difficult time finding attorneys, intimidate other people who may be aware of the abuse such as family members, neighbors. Police unions also protect them.
There's nothing worse than an insecure being(s) in a position of power with no one to hold them accountable, power corrupts, we must hold those in positions of power accountable or this will never end. The idea of internal auditing or investigations need to be abolished.

Police are abusive. Example of a criminal justice senior who studied police officer management: Start the day with a threat. Secondly, threaten the person who you convinced to invest in you. Third, antagonize and threaten the individual until they are mentally exhausted. Fourth, follow the person around the house and continue to threaten and verbally abuse the person. Fifth, abuse the person until they have to apologize. Sixth, do the above list every day for years and years to cover up affair after affair. Seventh, make false reports as many times as possible. Is that criminal justice? Now imagine the person being abused wakes up daily with pain from being a handicap from an accident.
This is extremely common with police officers, including alcoholism. I'm wondering if the stress of the job causes these behaviors or the job attracts those predisposed to the behaviors? The power trip kind? My guess is both with a strong side of power trip.

If you’re woman married to a police officer you’re like 6 times more likely to be involved in domestic abuse incidents. I think it’s a combination of police work attracting inflated ego individuals that are more likely to be racist and chauvinistic, and how police are way more likely to be emotionally desensitized because of the things they come into contact with on a daily basis. Being a cop is a position of vast authority with a relatively low bar to entry compared to things like judges, DAs, senators etc. so it attracts those individuals that were picked on in school and want revenge, or the bully who picked on them. Level people don’t seek authority over their peers.
It's the same as women using calling the cops accusing men of abuse with not as much as a red mark all because they know they can, her word against his and women win almost always

Don’t ignore the fact officers have no resources to reach out for help. No programs to help them with mental health. If they do get help then anything they say or do is questioned. You want unbiased and progressive change let’s add this to the conversation.
any abuse is worth reprimanding and helping the victim(s) find safety. In the "horrible" story the telling goes he spoke foul words, we do not know what else was said or who had begun the row. Then to find out she struck him in the face and he pressed charges. I am on board for equality as much as it is possible and i feel it stops right past rights. nothing in nature is equal we are not all created equal but we can all live within the same fairness and treat each other well as we would like to be treated ourselves. if you hit someone you are no longer arguing you are starting a physical altercation.
It is really terrible when people use their position to pressure + abuse others. Nobody wants to experience that. Unfortunately, such people are often covered. Not surprised one bit by this, I've had run ins with the old bill from time to time over the years, and it's blatantly obvious that **SOME** of them are in the job for the enjoyment of control and power. I avoid all police whenever I can. You just never know in these times what can happen. Power hungry, ego driven, out of shape, cops.
@@simplysimple7628 lol, alot and few represent numbers.:)
She hit her partner for something he said she didn't like, well, yeah, that is domestic abuse.
They get away with abuse IN PUBLIC, let alone in private.
She shouldn’t have slapped her husband. There can’t be a double standard for domestic violence. Everyone keep their hands to themselves!
Also, screw Vice. I question stories like these because of how clearly biased they are on their other exposes- and that isn’t good.
I wonder how the people defending cops would respond now. Maybe a “If she just listened x,y,z...wouldn’t happen” 🤦🏾♂️ I can’t
There's nothing worse than an insecure being(s) in a position of power with no one to hold them accountable, power corrupts, we must hold those in positions of power accountable or this will never end.
The idea of internal auditing or investigations need to be abolished.
I think we need to put HONEST people in the police department's and cull these WICKED PEOPLE OUT
wow, very crazy..., I've thought about this issue and wasn't surprised by what was said in this informative video... #StopTheAbuse
YAHOO AND FACEBOOK, EITHER HAD ONE SURVIVOR, WHEN NEW ERA BEGIN, ALLAH CANNOT SLEEP AT NIGHT, HOW?
Just say enough is enough, someone don't want to see your face again on planet earth, like those pirates that daily robbing ship in South East Asia. No one saw them again at sea after tsunami wiped out a town in Indonesia, so do the coast of India..
JUST COINCIDENCE?
Thai canal project stopped after a year without A ship attacked by pirates even a trunk road constructed from end to end.
The canal cut thru south Thailand, so ship can avoid travelling thru strait of Malacca that imfested with pirates but that also mean ships would bypass Gebeng port in Malaysia, the source of food for 2nd moon or Gebeng hill. Without prosperity, the hill will die since 8 feeling is a science theory in book of life.
Inshort, what those ptrares doing in South East Asia indirectly eating into mother nature interest, just like Facebook and Yahoo.
JAPAN TSUNAMI?
The largest tsunami ever swept thru Japan in 2011, two day after the sun shoot things down to earth hitting Japan Sea and causes the nuclear plant at Fukushima, which expected to stop operation in two week, melted.
Why? Cos the sun were the largest nuclear power plant, known to human or just say, she dislike what human decided, closing nuclear plant and dump those radioactive waste, deep into planet but to SAVE EARTH.
In other words, how tsunami happen, causes by human.
Cos star, planet and moon were living creature or how they exist, same like human thru moonbirth, not bang bang theory
(Google "Danny Woo Vk" in Bing for book of life, A science book that don't exist in human world, if link in bakekuchira video already broken or missing)
Holy book stated Dajjal could communicate with star and planet, so do follow his instruction even he is a bad guy..
Cos he also known as the evil side of Allah since Good return Good, Bad return Bad (Human see Allah, Devils meet Dajjal)
Facebook and Yahoo demand forgiveness, for blocking the truth about 2nd moon from reaching human?
Dajjal only know, Bad return Bad or forgive my ass. That mean you better keep a distance from them or avoid, being at the same town.
Police are abusive. Example of a criminal justice senior who studied police officer management:
Start the day with a threat.
Can people just learn to google things.
"According to the CDC, 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will experience physical violence by their intimate partner at some point during their lifetimes"
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK499891/#:~:text=According%20to%20the%20CDC%2C%201,sexual%20violence%20during%20their%20lifetimes.
vs
40% of partners of Cops
it's pretty much the exact same since the reporter definitely rounded the number up
@@apuapustaja1958 that's not what I was asking and no I will not click your link. 🙄🙄🙄🙄
2021(G) “Respect and dignity.” Furthermore:
This is Ali G I know it. respekt
The power of the badge
this ngl was hard to watch especially when i found out about the non molestation order my dad was physically and emotionally abusive to me and i finally went to the police wiyj my mum and even though i had videos and pictures they said they couldn’t do anything and i had to continue to live with him till we moved and then lockdown hapoened (i’ve moved now but the police don’t serve us they serve themselves)
"was hard to watch"
that's the point of psychological manipulative videos like this
"According to the CDC, 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will experience physical violence by their intimate partner at some point during their lifetimes"
So 25% of women and 14.3% of men
rate W + rate M = 39.3%
the number is absolutely insignificant but the average Vice news viewer is a fuggin moron
Considering that the UK police's anti-corruption unit was being investigated for corruption, I don't think an external police force is going to do anything to help.
lots of bullies & abusers love the position of power & control that the police force gives them..that level of power scares me, that's why I could never be with a cop ..
Remember Drew Peterson, we still don’t know what happened to Lacey Peterson
I have a story about voilence in police force abroad if the young lady thats investigating this story is interested?
Don't know how to contact her so hope she reads this msg.
Thanks.
Just imagine how many years they have been getting away with abusing black people.
Just like how arsonists like to be firefighters, abusers like to be cops.
It's the same as women using calling the cops accusing men of abuse with not as much as a red mark all because they know they can, her word against his and women win almost always
Come on, this really can't be shocking to anyone...
Wait what, the woman assaulted her husband and was charged for it? What's wrong with that? How is he the bad guy here?
Yeah kinda weird story to feature where there is more justified ones haha
And these are the pigs that are supposed to protect and serve the public. I've been saying this for over a decade now that all pigs should take a psychiatric evaluation every 2 to 3 months.
Don’t ignore the fact officers have no resources to reach out for help. No programs to help them with mental health. If they do get help then anything they say or do is questioned. You want unbiased and progressive change let’s add this to the conversation.
Only a coward abuses his wife, so of COURSE cops do.
If u are sadistic & a bully, what profession u pick to get away with it ?
The army
You gonna make a video on "air in air" and "water wet" next?
Domestic violence is incredibly high with police officers. There are statistics for this.
They are CRIMINALS and need to be punished very harshly and make an example of what will happen if anyone try that again.
Yup and it's also easy to have your wife arrested on a false charge.
All this is common for every country in the world.
Bless you girl's 🙌
any abuse is worth reprimanding and helping the victim(s) find safety.
Nor male nor female has the right to hit the other for any reason other than self defence.
