@@joshelliott4451 I don’t see why you say that the sec is a Mediocre. Since 2000, they have won 12 national titles. They also generate the most money via TV deal. I believe this is what attracted Texas and Oklahoma: The long-term revenue and The stability of the conference.
4 Big 12 (Nebraska, Colorado, Texas A&M, Missouri) + 1 SWC (Arkansas)
I love how Texas almost singlehandedly destroyed the Big 12 and then awkwardly stayed.
THANK YOU!!! It’s like no one remembers this!!!
@ToddRobinson13 I thought it was that whole SMU death penalty deal that did it. Had no idea Texas burned the Southwest Conference
@@ianisaac2501 yep. They have a history of destructive selfish self dealing.
Ran off Mo, AM, CO, NE to other conferences because of this behavior
@@ags41win "Ran off..." No, they ran off.
@@ianisaac2501 Texas played a major role in SMU getting the death penalty
College Football really needs to get here…Texas A&M is fitting well in the SEC 🤣🤣🤣
I've watched this 5 times. It never gets old.
Texas hasn’t seen nothing yet, they think they have a problem with horns down. LOL 😂 SEC fans will be all over that. LOL 😂
Hell I don't think they will need to do the horns down. They won't win more than 5 games a season if they join
Fans don't care. Its just the coaching staff trying to distract us from their inability to coach. As a Longhorn fan it makes me proud y'all do the horns down. It proves how important we are to y'all.
@@danielmackey9765 as long as they don't schedule Maryland or Kansas they ought to be able to squeeze out 5 wins with 4 non-conference wins, right?🤷♀️
@@fredwheeler9735 that is what I was thinking. Schedule Texas St., Rice and FIU and they might be able to win 5. Maybe.
Texas fans don't care about the horns down, its fun trash talk... its just the Big XII management trying to feel like they are doing something.
B10 fan here. This is comedy gold. Salute
THIS IS EPIC! HAHAHA!
You can’t help but love these guys. 😆
Seriously, you have to watch with CC ON to read the buzzer sounds. Priceless...way to go SEC Shorts..
*The entire SEC right now* HORNS DOWN 🤘👇🤣🤣
SEC is foolish for taking them.
My personal opinion: I'd rather not have Texas and their diva mentality in the SEC. Oklahoma wouldn't be too bad, but a resounding "HELL NO" to Texas.
🐗#WPS🐗
Oklahoma actually wanted to come when Ta&m first left but texas blocked them from doing so
Exactly! I have zero problem with OU, but their biggest issue is the unwanted baggage they have to carry with them in the form of a burnt orange turd.
100%. OU fans are die hards like SEC fans. They will fit in well in the SEC. Texas, yeah not so much. I was at that LSU Texas game in 2019 and DKR just did not bring it.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Texas will not survive the SEC. Just based of Big 12 stats in the last decade, Oklahoma State would do a better job than Texas (considering in the last 10 years OSU had the second best record in the Big 12 with the 5th most blue chips in the conference). Texas gets the most blue chips of any big 12 school and their win loss record is tied with Kansas State who has had 2 (yes…just 2) blue chips in the past decade…Texas is legitimately fucking horrible.
OU and Virginia Tech would be an interesting combo
Texas fans are hilarious. They lose to TCU, Iowa State, barely beat TTU last year and now they think they’re going to come in and steamroll the SEC. 🙄
Imagine if they had Arkansas' schedule this year. @Georgia, @Alabama, @LSU, vs TAMU, @Ole Miss, vs Auburn, vs Mizzou, Lol
They do have a Saban trained coach? How’s that worked out so far? Ask Georgia. Roll Tide!!!
@@rickfowler7313 OrTennessee
@@ljgaming639 Or Florida or South Carolina
Can’t wait for Arkansas to beat Texas. Texas is now the running joke in the SEC.
Dont mess with Texas.
SEC Security: Hold my Bourbon
SEC is perfect as is. Leave it alone.
And let the Pac 12 claim Texas and Oklahoma in time for a new broadcast rights deal... not happening. Obviously.
I don't see the move happening. It reminds me of when the SEC teams with ACC rivals all four used their vetoes as members to keep their rivals out during the last expansion. Now A&M is in the same position.
I don't want Texas or Oklahoma. Why reward them for being a.hats? Let them go pac or wherever and enjoy. Not the sec.
I'd not mind adding Virginia tech and maybe nc.
It's too big. Get rid of Vandy and either Kentucky or South Car then make room for other teams.
“Empty any 1970s wishbone playbooks…”
Hey, that was cold.
Turn on the closed caption people. They've hidden jokes in there. Funny stuff!
MS. State Bulldogs are already having Horns Down painted on their new Cowbells. LOL 😂
Welcome to the SEC where the real UT is Tennesse and you have never seen such sadness on a Saturday
As Peter Sellers would say, "Not anymore!" Texas lifts that UT moniker right off Tennessee with nary a struggle.
See I’m the only Tennessee fan concerned seemingly? Like they’ll take the UT title right from us lol
They are not going to the SEC--this is their pipedream. It won't happen.
@@kommsofort6977 I wouldn't be too sure even though they sucked for the last decade they're still one of the top brands in cfb it's all about the money
@@josephmanno4514 They should play for it. Whoever wins is "UT" until they play again.
These Closed Captions just make these videos that much better😂
Oklahama can’t bring the old wish bone play book to the SEC thats funny.
The closed caption are always on point!! Welcome to the SEC TU, sit down, shut up and fall in line like we had too. Get ready to earn respect like you never have before.
When I heard the news I knew SEC shorts would make a vid about this😂
If we take Texas and OK can we get rid of Missouri? Please. Nobody wants them.
As a Texas fan, I’m not tryna join the SEC. We can’t even win the Big 12😔
So that means Texas will win the SEC in 2522
Look at it this way. Now that we got the SEC boost who's gonna stop us from killing it in state recruiting? A&M got them only because SEC bias. Now it's gone.
@@iruleall15 I'm sure having a consistent winning record since joining the SEC had nothing to do with it, or finishing 4th in the country....
Big 12 is imploding either way. I think everyone is trying to get out and Pac 12 SEC or independent is the best choice for Texas
Texas will be lucky to have 5 wins a year if they move to the sec.
Should of had Uga the bulldog sniff for any BCS bowl pride.
Would've loved that. Will take it as revenge for Bevo charging at Uga.
SEC Shorts can't afford UGA (the team mascot.)
Texas and Oklahoma leaving the big 12 is going to have ripple effects thru all of college football and that is not a good thing.
This was all going to happen eventually. The Big XII barely made it through the last realignment phase and instead of doing what the ACC did, going out and aggressively adding schools, they thought they'd just stay at 10 and be fine. There's way too much money at stake and both OU and Texas know they can make more in the SEC and the SEC knows it can make more with OU/Texas. Why is it not a good thing? We've known since the last realignment that Super Conferences were coming, this is just the first domino that could possibly fall.
It was gonna happen at some point. The Big 12 has been on the decline for years.
@@BoomerKeith1 they will all make lots of money but that won't be good for the sport. This is going to destroy what little competition is left. Also in like 10 to 20 years when half the teams are powerful now are bottom feeders they will be rethinking this decision and guess what they will all move again.
ACC can crutch football on Clemson and whatever other team out of the Coastal decides to be good that year. Big Ten has a good selection of excellent teams and up and comers. SEC is SEC
Big 12 was never that fun to watch imo, when it's just TX and OK deciding who wants to slip up in game 9 and lose to TCU or Kstate while Iowa State tries and fails to show it deserves to be at the next level. TX and OU in the SEC would be awesome to watch.
@@BoomerKeith1 I dont think this will happen. Its a win for Texas and Oklahoma but the SEC just opens up the South East for Oklahoma and Texas recruiting. This only helps Texas and Oklahoma.
The A&M Guy making the security alarm go off.. I can do this all Day..lol...
Yes love how SEC already starting the Texas hate! BOOMER SOONER!
Happy to do it!
It comes naturally. If you think you hate them now, just wait until the bust up your conference because they say they deserve more money than any other member.
"That's a lot of baggage" 🤣🤣🤣
That was fast and thank you from Oklahoma you can leave Texas in security if you want
This video is even better with the captions on! Who knew that scanner beeps could say so much.
In this conference we will Horns Down you baby!
And Arkansas says, "Come on in. We're tired of being the yearly doormat. It's your job now."
Yesss, now SEC shorts has two new teams to bash every single week!!
In the beginning I thought he said 77-0 playbooks LMAO.
Looking forward to Vandy fans storming the field after a win against Texas.
We really need Texas in the East. That way, Vandy, Tennessee and South Carolina will have a dependable conference win each year😂😂😂
I knew it was coming but did not expect it this soon! As always, well done guys love your work!
BRO THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great vid! But those two considering a move to the SEC is ridiculous. Enough already!
*HORNS DOWN*.WILL BECOME A NEW SEC TRADITION 🤩🤩🍻
Nebraska wanted to make their own broadcasting channel! Big12 said NO but yes to Texas!
I am so glad when I get this notification!
Longhorn Network is gonna have their highest viewership all year when they show the Southwest LLWS regionals!
Honestly, I think adding Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC is a bad move for all parties involved. I hope it doesn't happen
I agree. For the SEC what do u gain? 1 middle of the pack team and one team thats good every year but struggles to win big12
Money they gain money LOTS of money. Plus with expansion of playoffs its a no Brainer because none of the legit contenders are hurting their championship chances. If anything playing so many top teams will make us better able to win the title.
I hate the SEC, but I love this channel
