Do you know anything about the relief valve spring on oil pump? 1977 20R engine toyota pick up. Can U tighten or loosen it to relieve pressure leak, idle was really high after putting brand new spark plugs. Finally adjusted it, after putting in new water pump. It had leak in valve cover, used RTV around moon shape gasket, it worked and put BARS ONE LEAK STOP LEAK, a few days ago...... Hoping it helps after driving more mileage.
Bout work on mine tomorrow, fuck it let’s see how it goes. I’m just scared about stripping bolts and that famous pulley bolt.
Just take your time and organize everything while removing and you should be good

Honestly we dont, but we will look into it. We also used a bit of rtv on the half moons and no leaks from the valve cover so far 👍
