  • In this video we upgrade Meagan's dual battery system with a Redarc Manager 30. The Redarc Manager 30 gives you the capability to charge your house battery via your alternator, shore power and solar. It manages the the power coming in from all 3 sources to give the max capability of the charger which is 30 amps. The Manager 30 also gives you the ability to monitor the health your system through either the Manager 30 standard display or through the new Redvision Display.
    For more information on setting up the Redarc Manager 30 including tools I used in the installation click the link below.

    Thanks, Jason. Really tight, clean, professional build there. As a Ham Radio guy, I appreciate a clean electrical build. I also appreciate the install demonstration: it gives me some ideas on how I will proceed with my build.

    Currently building out a van with the red arc. Your video confirms much of what my expectations have in mind.
    They also have their own proprietary inverter in Australia. There is a third-party inverter that works with the red vision that has benefits for managing your 110 usage.

    Yes, I certainly found this episode useful.
    That’s a very sophisticated system.
    We are planning to buy a new Casita travel trailer, and this looks like it could handle all our electrical needs in the trailer.
    Charging house batteries from DC, AC, or solar is what makes this product super useful.
    The smart phone app really makes it user friendly.
    Thanks!

    Pretty nice....It looks like Redarc is sending out a lot of these to the RUclipsrs...so many recent videos about this device. You can always tell when there's a big marketing push from manufacturers like Jackery when you start seeing tons of videos about them.

    Does the shore power in this setup, go directly into the Redarc, so if you use any 120V in the van it will need to come out of the inverter? Thanks!

    Help me understand. Can this unit replace the Renogy MPPT Charge Controller in a van solar/DC-DC system?

  • @Gabriel.Leni100
    @Gabriel.Leni100 2 года назад

    How come these dc dc converters are so expensive?! Thats just crazy money for something like that. You can get 2 high quality generators for that money. Just a comparison to put things into perspective.

    • @geographyinaction7814
      @geographyinaction7814 Год назад

      Because it isn't a dc-dc charger, it is six different components in one chassis.
