Fab video Andy & Michelle. The snow chains looked like a great help even though you had to take them on and off a lot. Loved the metal art and the facilities in that campsite were outstanding. Thanks for sharing. Irvine & Karen.
Hi Irvine & Karen, yes those foot chains were brilliant as were those metal sculptures, we'll definitely go back to see them again 😀 cheers...Andy&Michelle
Been to Obergurgl two times, fantastic skiing and wonderfull in the summer 👌 Looking forward to Seiser alm witch we skied this winter. Great content, thanks for charing, nice to follow 👍🙂
Thanks Phil, yes the effort is rewarded by the fantastic scenery and the beer/coffee/cake at the end of it😀 (This was filmed early March) cheers...Andy&Michelle
Thanks Robert, in a couple of videos time we go hiking high again in even harder conditions but this time we had our poles and they were a life saver. Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Andy & Michelle, You certainly know how to capture your audience. If I was a magician I would get you to 50k plus subs. Your content is truly amazing. Regards to you both, Bob & Angie x
Bob & Angie... 50k plus subs would be very nice, you'd better get practicing your magic for us!! 😀 Thank you so much for your kind comments, much appreciated x
Andy & Michelle, as always - you have managed to capture the unique atmosphere of the places you have visited in a so special and warm way. It is always much enjoying watching your videos and it feels like we are actually touring these places with you. Keep on the super-good work! BTW, watching a winder-episode during this so very hot summer is absolutely recommended! :)
Thanks Sharon😀, which country are you in? While Europe is having a heatwave, here in the UK it's been one of the coldest and wettest Summers we can remember, we can't wait to get back over the Channel to find some sun☀️ Cheers...Andy&Michelle
@@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures Well, we live in Israel, which has a very sunny and warm weather these days (and also very "warm" with our political situation, which we will leave out from here :).... I recommend visiting here during spring, early summer and winter (we don't have fall unfortunately) and enjoy the warm weather, beautiful sights we have and the great welcome and food!, yet - I don't think you will be able to drive from the UK, and will have to come as an "ordinary tourist".... :) yet - our beaches are *super-great*, the attractions and historical sights are amazing!
Honestly, I think it's time you got a decent 4x4 and a caravan; you can't be waiting around for a bus at night, especially at your ages.. Beautiful scenery
I know, way past our bedtime! We're still not tempted though, think you are just in denial!, the inevitable will happen for you one day!! Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Not really a fan of the white stuff but I NEED to hike here! Camp site looks lush - going to check it out for the return on our Greece trip Spring / Summer 2024
Yeah the hike was so interesting and beautiful. Greece trip sounds good, we haven't thought about touring there but we should, think that would use our whole 90 day allowance! Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Hi, 😀 we were on this tour for 6 weeks, these few day were around 9th March , your the 3rd to ask tonight🤣 note to self, put the dates in the next video 😀 cheers.. Andy&Michelle
Pineapple was invented to go on top of pizza. Michelle You have been promoted to the same level of legend as Barney now that I know you like pineapple pizza 😊
Like you have good experience and feel good!!! Normal sporty people. Wonder of the costs of staying,, so please tell. - Best regards freecamper in Norway
Hi, this site was £43 per night in March. Electricity was metered, we made the mistake of heating with electric rather than our gas and electric bill was about £120 for the 6 days. Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Great episode as usual :-) You say "spring" but roughly when was this taken. For anyone wanting to make a similar trip it might be useful to know when was a good time to go. Although with the crazy weather we are having in Europe at the moment it feels like any time is probably as good as any other...
Thanks Kevin, glad you enjoyed and good point on the dates of filming. This was the first week in March, we'll add that to future videos. This time of year has pro's and cons. We had some beautiful blue ski and warm ski days but the snow was very soft after about 3pm. Also our hiking and biking sometimes encountered snow issues along the way! Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Great video as always, epic effort hiking in those conditions. A random question, do you use a Motorhome specific sat-nav to help avoid narrow lanes…? At some point we’ll swap our VW California for something a little larger, but just come back from a couple of weeks around Devon & Cornwall’s lanes it’s been tight even in our little camper.
Thanks 😊 We do have a Sat Nav from CMA Nav systems, it allows you to enter your vehicle height and length, we don't use it all the time because nothing is as quick and easy as using our phones but if we are going somewhere potentially risky we'll stick it on. Devon and Cornwall make for "interesting" driving!! Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Hi Peter, they are IPSXP ice snow grips from Amazon, yes we looked at the snow shoes and will probably get some, the cost put us off initially but I think we’ll get good use out of them so will invest for next time , cheers
Hi there from The Netherlands. At 9:38 I see your see through curtains. Dit they come with your camper, does they slide away and are they attached with velcro? Like to know for our Carthago. TIA!
Hello Netherlands😀 they are called "Net Curtains" here in the UK, they came with the Motorhome and yes they slide along a wire which opens like a pair of curtains. No velcro, they are ok for a bit of privacy during the day but at night they are completely see through with the lights on, Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Thanks 😀 , no we don't have an inverter, t would be very useful to charge our ebikes. Instead we use an EcoFlow Mini but it does mean we need to go onto sites to charge it up. (the Eco Flow Mini will charge both bikes from 30% to full once) Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Fantastic episode once again. Couple of questions for you, after you fitted the big boy tyres did you notice much decrease in MPG and increase in road noise? We are considering fitting the same to our Moho and any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Would make a good video 🙂
Hi Gary, we’ve had no regrets from the tyres, a different sound more than a louder sound, they hum as we drive and can’t hear it most of the time, about 1 mpg worse on the fuel. They definitely help in the mud but we’ve still got stuck and had a tow, we’re just to heavy on the back so not enough weight over the drive wheels, cheers 😀
Excellent video, any chance you could recommend a reasonable place for service and MOT of a motorhome in South Yorks? am new to this and my beast is due for his 1st service/MOT and I don't want the long drive up to Darlington 😁 Bri.
Hi Brian, glad you liked the video...the place we've used nearest to South Yorks is Premium Motorhomes for our Carthago - they are near Doncaster, we also use Filmers garage in Burton on Trent but that's probably a bit too far south for you. Cheers..Andy&Michelle

Great episode! Solden is amazing place, but the campsite was on the next level. Greetings from Piteå, we are touring Sweden. Tommi & Niina
Thanks Tommi & Niina, Sweden is on our list too, will have to get some recommendations from you! Have a great Sweden tour 😀 Andy&Michelle
Words fail me ,brilliant 👏
Aw thank you David 😊😊😊 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Fabulous video, was tired out just watching you hiking but so worth the effort 😱 must go one day but in the spring me thinks . Well done 👍

Love it! Made us chuckle with your snow chains,we wear them every day in the winter just to get out of the house here in Buxton!! 😂
