But thanks to my curiosity, it led me to explore different views on abortion from both perspectives (pro-life and pro-choice argument and their logic). A woman at my church I’m very close with once told me a story of how she was pregnant with one of her children and during this pregnancy receive the news that this child would have a non-fatal handicap. I don’t remember specifically what she said it was but it could’ve been down syndrome or something similar. They recommended her abort the baby and told her she could always have another one. She refused, professing her faith and saying that all people deserve to live, including this baby.
The hospital repeatedly fought her on this, even to the point of taking her before the medical board in order to pressure her into giving in to the abortion. She vehemently refused and stood her ground.
Months later, she had her baby. He was completely healthy and had no disabilities or handicaps. The hospital’s recommendation would’ve led to a child needlessly being killed in the womb, and not growing up to eventually have children of his own, which I believe he did.

My own sister in law was told to be aborted because her mom was "too old to birth a baby without disabilities". My mil was 40 at the time.
1/3 of down syndrome diagnosis in the womb is wrong. Thousands of healthy babies are aborted because doctors thought they had down syndrome
6000 babies in the U.S. are born with down syndrome each year. That is the 10% that we're not aborted.
54,000 babies are aborted every year because they are claimed to have Down syndrome.

It's really just how americans see the thing. I live in France, we have decided to put abortion right into our constitution. We have many reasons to think so, we have a different view on religion (my catholic grandma is for abortion) and notably in our view of the future life of the baby. In France we consider the real tragedy not to be the abortion, but to have an unwanted child or a heavy disabled child.
And for the disability, I have a sister, I love her a lot, but she is mentally disabled and it is not the kind of life you want for your child. It pains me knowing how shitty is her life. She will never find love, never have a baby, never go past 5 years old of age, never control her emotions, never know how much she can hurt others when she's angry. If that life could have been avoided, it would have been for the better.

@@kfhhg2613 thank you for sharing your perspective and the perspective from France. Although I consider myself pro life, what you have to say is valid. I take situations like the above into consideration when formulating my opinion on abortion. Personally, I don’t think any baby is “unwanted”, but I can certainly understand aborting babies with mental or physical ailments that take away from their potential quality of life, so I do separate that from the usual circumstances. My biggest frustration regarding abortion is the lack of accountability for women and men’s poor choices. If abortion was primarily used for true medical reasons impacting the unborn baby that would be one thing, but there’s no excuse to end a life just because. American society supports this by what I said above.. lying to women and men by manipulating their emotions and dehumanizing unborn babies to lead people to think it’s ok. That’s what I have a problem with.

This is as hard as it is important to listen to. As I am listening to these two women speak of what they have seen, I think of all the women I know who suffer from the pain of having had an abortion, but that are gaslit and told that it’s not a big deal. I believe it would be healing to many to properly process what they have partaken in, and this video could be a help in them doing so. At the same time I can’t imagine how painful it must be to watch this if you have had an abortion, to really hear what they are saying, and have to face that. I pray for the healing of the many women who are post abortion, and pro abortion in an attempt to try to justify it. I see some women pushing for abortion out of guilt. We were told our baby number 3, our last and youngest child had Down Syndrome. Doctors in NZ where im grom assumed i would abort her because of her disability. But I am pro-life and i could never murder my baby, even with a disability. It hasn't always been easy raising her but i have no regrets.Today, she is 23 years old and loves her life, her family and her friends. She is the most gorgeous, affectionate girl and I love her so much!!

This is happening to babies right now. 💔 God comforts me by reminding me they’re all with Him. And you realize Jesus truly is the only salvation for humans. All we can do is pray & use our voices to speak for those who can’t be heard 💔 we have to change society’s view of unborn babies. Share these videos have the conversation.. make that comment. The discomfort is worth the possibility of saving someone’s life. You never know who you will plant a seed with.

People have been saying that for 2000 years.
Romans exposed their babies and used herbal poisons to commit abortion for centuries before Christ and centuries after Christ. Children were not considered legal persons until they reached age 10 - and as a result ANYTHING could be done to them up to that point and the government would turn a blind eye - sometimes the government would even be the ones harming the children.
Christians were also burned as human torches to light the street and fed to wild animals in the colosseum - and Christ didn’t come back at any point during those horrible centuries… so why would now be different? It’s arrogant to think this is any different than any other time in history.

Abortion is a right firmly defended by my people, the french. It was intronised in our law by Simone Veil. The abortion is not goodly seen in France, it's seen as a tragedy that is better avoided. But it is necessary to us, beacause the life of an unwanted child or a child with disabilities isnt something we wish in our society. Abortion is traumatic, but for us it saves lifes.

I never had an abortion myself, but I once almost helped one of my friends to get one. I thought it was obviously her fault, because she wasn't careful. It was tragic for me at the time, but I thought I have to help her as much as I can. Today I know it was wrong and I regret not trying to tell her to keep it or at least get it adopted, although I think she was very determined to get it done. Interestingly enough I didn't manage to help her because my phone died and we were unable to locate the clinic. She rescheduled and had it done a month later without me involved. I still think about that baby today and I feel so sorry for my friend, who left my life and her boyfriend at the time. I know she has moved on and has a daughter but I just can't get over that tiny life that was taken away. I wish I would've done something to save it. I also pray for the parents, I hope they can somehow find forgiveness.

Imagine being told you're selfish if you don't spend the next 9 months saving kids in Gaza. How dare you kill those kids by not sharing your body with them. They needed your protection and you live where the ammo was made. Irresponsible and selfish to choose to live here paying taxes to make the ammo, but not save those innocent kids with your body. How convenient for you. Guess babies are only important in the womb, after that irresponsible people never have to irreparably harm themselves for any child. Maybe we just hate pregnant people.

When I was a teenager, my mother forced me to have an abortion. I am in my 60s now and was healed and forgiven by God. God blessed my life with a godly husband and God gave me a son. I have educated my son about abortion and he is Pro-Life. I have encouraged him not to cut off anymore limbs from our family tree. I have raised him to be there if his future children (My future grandchildren) ever have an unplanned pregnancy and encouraged him to be a supportive parent and to be there for his kids. He told me he would. He is a godly young man and I am so Proud of him and thankful for him. As Pro-Life parents, we must educate our children and grandchildren on this issue, so that future generations will choose Life.

Ive had an abortion before. I had an abusive boyfriend and he actually got arrested for having to hit me, luckily the neighbors called the police and Indidnt know he had priors. He was gone. I was almost 10 weeks. I decided to have an abortion because I knew he would try to find me and he would hurt us, found out he had a baby with someone else and she moved away to not be near him. I held myself and told my baby I was sorry. I felt terrible. I went to the clinic. I waited like an assembly line with other women in the waiting room, it was awful feeling. Then i saw the room with the chair and the bright lights and the drain on the tile floor. I started crying, almost stopped. But I already wad a single mom to my daughter, who was 4 at the time. I couldnt do it again. I had it done. I did feel relief afterwards, his mom begged me not to do it. I dont have regrets but I do. Its not a good feeling. Its not a good thing. Some people need to have it done because of rape, incest, and being too young. I think its still a necessary thing for some women, esp if there is noted defects that wouldnt be compatible to life, that is what abortion should be for. Not for healthy babies with no voice.
I never knew if it was a boy or girl, I never gave her a name. These stories break my heart and im more prolife than ever.
