I'm glad you found the video informative. The shape of the human anatomy structure and the variety of it, is incredible. I find myself staring and studying stranger's anatomy all the time.
I've found this series really helpful. I think this one would have benefited from photos, as it can be tricky for folks like me who aren't good at visualizing things. Maybe if you have clients who would give permission for their ears/piercings to be photographed, it would help to clarify some concepts better. Like comparing two people's daiths or conches and showing how the piercing angle you would use would be different from one person to another. Or one ear where an industrial could be done helix to helix (or helix to flat) and another where conch to conch or helix to conch might be a better option. Fascinating stuff, though ... like figuring out how to adorn a sculpture to best effect.
I've increasingly included images of piercing in most of the videos after this one. I always forget to take photos and only take photos of healed piercings. It doesn't help that some stoked a album full of the first eight years of me piercing. Thus they are lost forever. At first I was worried about copyright but I think it's easy to see all of my videos are educational and protected by fair uses. So I use my own photos when I can and rely on others when I don't have a good photo handy. I have been considering doing some videos with different clients to explain the difference in anatomy, placement and jewelry choices. However right now I'm so busy I really don't have the time. Hopefully towards the end of the year when things slow down.
@DeVo, thank you for uploading this. A few years ago (only my second time in a piercing shop), I naively asked for an industrial...my rook shelves are massive on both ears, so my piercer (very wisely) did not do it. Over the weekend, I got my first rook piercing and I am so much happier. If you're reading this and you're upset that your anatomy doesn't allow you to get a specific piercing...your ear(s) are probably the perfect shape for another you hadn't considered! Don't be discouraged, and love your ears.
Don't worry. Be happy 😁 I don't have the anatomy for an industrial piercing either. Bumpy top part of my ear. When people talk about getting a flat, I barely have anything flat on the top of my ear. But I have plenty of places to pierce!
I got REALLY lucky as far as ear shape goes and have been able to get just about any piercing. I’ve also been lucky to find a really good piercer. She really helped me plan out some of the placements as I got all 20 of my ear piercings over time. One one of my ears I have both a triple forward helix and a double regular helix. I found corkscrew jewelry that managed to line up perfectly with their placement and goes through both. Probably my favorite piece of jewelry.
Body Piercing & Tattooing I’ve had a couple piercings give me a damn hard time, don’t get me wrong. My snug piercing was an absolute bitch to heal, and one of my “flat” piercings on my upper ear decided it just wanted to swell to ridiculous amounts and nearly swallow the jewelry. My triple forward helix was a bit testy until we changed them to hoops (why they actually healed with hoops only is a mystery to both of us). Another mystery to both of us is why of all of my piercings, only the first helix piercing was a real bleeder. All the other barely bled, but that one threw a temper tantrum and wouldn’t stop for a while.
a week ago i got my industrial pierced but 3 days after i went to a more experienced piercer to get my bar bigger because i knew what i had in was too small. When she saw it she told me that i didn’t have the right ear anatomy for it and advised me to just take it out so we did that. I have been so devastated since 😭 i loved it and it’s the only piercing i want this bad!! So my question is, is there any way that a piercer can still work with whatever ear you got to still get the piercing or some ears just simply can’t take it?
Some people just don't have the anatomy for the piercing. In some cases, bending jewelery or adjusting the angle can make the piercing possible but it will often still be a problematic heal. When in doubt ask a more experienced piercer. I'm not a huge fan of telling people to take jewelry out of a piercing that is already done if there is no issues. I've have seen too many people heal out piercings that should have worked. I'd rather try to save the piercing and then remove the jewelry if a problem comes up.
They told me the same about my industrial and I went to another shop they did it no problem,it’s been a year and I’ve literally had no issues. No keloids , bumps , rejecting or migration and it’s completely healed,I just took very good care of it
Hey DaVo! Dude, you're absolutely RIGHT again! My ears are DIFFERENT, my RIGHT ear is LARGER than my LEFT ear. I actually HATE that but it's TRUE.I plan to get some COSMETIC SURGERY on 'em because I want my ears to MATCH.
You are not alone in that. I've had people that one side was a perfect U and the other side was attached and barely formed. The thing is with lobes you really don't see them. Some jewelry will draw more attention to the different like larger stud but normally it goes completely unnoticed.
This is so helpful. I'm planning on getting three piercings in one ear in a couple of weeks and love the cluster look but it won't suit my ear shape. This has helped me figure out placement and what might work.
Always remember that marking and placement of the piercings are a collaborative effort. Tell your piercer what you goals are but also listen to their input on what is going to work and look best.
I think one of the most important things to know about piercings and tattoos is that you have to be kinda flexible about the end product. If you have a perfect idea in your head and will accept nothing but you’re gonna have a bad time.
It really depends on the tattoo design or the piercing. In most cases its my experience that the outcome is often better than they thought it was going to be. The key is having an artist that is willing to educate the client and a client that is willing and open to their input. There has to be that collaboration.
I love both daith and rook piercings, and would love to have them. My ear anatomy won't support either one, on either ear. I've been told that by several different piercers. The areas are too thin and not pronounced enough. I still have multiple lobe, cartilage, and tragus piercings though. I might get small tattoos in there instead. (Jan Griffiths, on hubby's account).
Well then I would suggest against them and maybe trying something else. There is such a large variety of anatomy with ears and you might be surprised by how your anatomy may work better with other piercings.
I do have orbitals but they are in my lobes. They were 2 separate piercings that I joined together with 16 gauge horseshoe bars. One in each ear. I've been wearing them for the last 10 years now. They are the 3rd and 4th lobe holes that just happened to be the correct distance apart. (Jan Griffiths).
Thank you and I'm glad I'm not the only one thall think so. We have been building the channel over the last year or so. It's been an incredible learning experience. One of the unforeseen advantages has been me rediscovering my love of filming, editing and photography. Also interacting if a lot of wonderful people through out the world that share my love of body art. We have been growing and I only see our subscription growing. We have a lot of plans for the future. The next thing is improving our sound quality and setting up an area in the studio with improved lighting, green screen and back drops. Though that may not excite everyone, I know that it does me. Also we are working on a few more regular videos that focus on Tattooing education. It all just comes down to time. Thanks again for the kind words, watching and being to share in this experience.
This is so true. When I was about 22yo a photographer told me my nose was slightly tilted (I'm 48yo now). Lo and behold - my piercer took that into consideration when he gave me a perfekt septum two years ago. It looks fantastic.
Yes and the photographer shoukd have used the beauty of your titled nose to improve their photo. Those with the artist eye understand the need and the attention that the things that don't blend into the background draw. Piercers use the anatomy that is provide to achieve the illusion of prefect and if the anatomy was prefect the piercing would look off.
I just got my industrial peirced. Its wayyy longer and more vertical then I was expecting, and when I asked the peircer why he did it like that he said it was so It would fit my ear anatomy. Still would've liked if he let me know that before he peirced it but its too late now and it looks great so I cant really complain.
Other than a few piercings that like nipples, navel and some genital piercing that pretty much have to be in one spot, I always show my marking to the client to get their input. I'm glad to hear that yours turned out well though it wasn't what you expected. In the future ask to see the marking before the do it. I'll be honest sometimes I just simply forget to do it.
Well, I rarely piercing when traveling but if I ever do, I will announce it on here. If you are ever in the area, feel free to set up an appointment or if things get to normal feel free to just stop by the studio and visiting. Thank you for watching.
Glad to hear that you enjoyed the video. I'm guessing that you are asking a ear lobe vs the rest of the ear. Because all the others are through thicker cartilage.
I just got my second holes on my lobes, I plan to get a third hole on my left ear to finish the orbital. I hope my piercer says I have enough room for it because my ears are kind of small
Thanks for the comprehensive info! I wanted to ask about my mid-helix (between lobe & upper cartilage). When I roll it between my fingers, I can feel that the cartilage ends right in the middle between the snug & the edge of my ear. The rest of it is just skin. I wanted to get a double piercing here, but chances are that the piercing will hit just where the cartilage and skin meet. How will that affect a piercing in this area? Will it even be advisable to pierce?
I suggest piercing above or below the line where the thicker cartridge begins. Its my experience that piercing right on that edge tends to cause issues and piercings that are prone to grumpiness. You are welcome and I'm glad you found the video helpful. Thank you for watching.
I just got told by quite a young piercer that my ear anatomy isn't right for a rook piercing, would you recommend me going for a second opinion to another piercer just in case?
I've got a ear piercing gun and 12gage piercing needles and my thoughts are you only pierce the lower lobe with the gun and the rest of the possibility of middle and upper ear cartilage the piercing should be done with needles and a receiver and clamps
Here's an idea, see a professional piercer and have them done correctly. I have wrenches and jack but I wouldn't repair my own brakes because I've never repaired brakes and would have no clue what I was doing.
I've been told my cartilage is very hard more than once. My lobes are thick too. I've been told no for a few piercings because of that and just not having the space. The only piercing left on my list that I don't have and haven't been told no is an upper cart orbital. I'll give it a shot once things are open again. Do you recommend piercing them together with a hoop or two studs?
If the are is too thick, they should have advised you that you might see longer healing and pierced you with a longer labret or barbell and not rings. With orbits and combined piercings, I suggest piercing with one piece of jewelry.
I had a tragus, it got knocked around a bit and started migrating to the edge, eventually it was only hanging on by a thin strip of skin. I plucked it out without any pain or bleeding. I miss it, might get one on the opposite ear
My industrial in my right ear begins at the top of the ear, and ends closer to the lobe. Not on the lobe, more like right below a helix maybe? Basically about 90 degrees.
It's hard to say without seeing the piercing first hand but the piercing should be done to fit into your anatomy. If there is no issue I would leave it be. However, if you start to notice any signs of migration or rejection, you should consider removing the jewelry.
My son wants to get his ear pierced; first time... I want to show him where it would be apx... I was told told that the 2nd lobe piercing should be 8mm from the center of the first hole, so, my question is how would I measure where to put that first hole?...
Hey! I actually live in Iowa and was planning to get a industrial piercing but the inside mountian-ish part of my ear is way to big and close to the outside rim of my ear so now I’m looking for an alternative!
It's always had to say without seeing the anatomy first hand but if a helix to helix doesn't work, you might want to try a Conch to Conch.. I often forget to mention it as an alternative when I pass on the helix to helix.
I’m not entirely sure what piercings I want to get on my left ear (which currently only has 2 lobe piercings), but I’ve booked an appointment to get a conch piercing next friday for my right ear. If I wanted to know what piercings would look good on my ear and the placement of the piercings, can I ask my piercer? Or is a person to person thing on whether or not they’d be willing to help me figure it out?
Any good piercer worth their salt should be willing to take the time to talk to you about what you see for yourself & what you like. If they don't, go to a different piercer. Hope your appointment went well though. I just got my right conch done a month ago & I love it ❤
It is hard to say without seeing the piercing firsthand. It could be the placement but it could also be the size of the jewelry. If the piercing is fairly new, this may become less of an issue once you have adapted to having the piercing.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing Thanks for your response 😀 I have had the piercing since I was 18 I am 33 now I took it out at the age 24 and just decided to put some jewelry in.. it was sore the first couple of days then it “healed” but after that I noticed a lisp when I speak, I will go to a shop and see what they say. I like how your tongue ring is positioned, it seems very comfortable to wear and you speak clearly..they might’ve messed up
Great video! I'm trying to figure out what I might like to add (have 5 in one ear, 3 in the other, incl. conch, helix, etc.) I'll go in with a few potential spots and I thankfully have an excellent piercer who can tell me what will work best with my anatomy.
i want to get an industrial, but i’m afraid my ears stick out too much or aren’t curved enough.. is there any ear anatomy that won’t work with an industrial?
The piercing and jewelry will need to fit into your anatomy. The biggest factors are that the helix ridge and the helix flap need to be pronounced enough and there needs to be a line that doesn't have contact with the flat area of the ear.
Yes, that is usually the best way. You can really see your ear clearly. Feel free to stop by anytime. Even if you are not wanting the piercing that day, I'm happy to give you a consultation. I'm open Thursdays through Mondays 2-8pm.
You are welcome. I mean yes I can suggest a lot of piercings and jewelry that are going to look great but they are still all established piercings and the jewelry is mass produced. You are welcome and thank you for watching.
Question😣 If a person is addicted to touching and playing with their ears will that habit disappear if they got cartilage piercings? Same with belly button piercing if a person want that just to force themselves to sit straight all the time will that piercing help? I know that might be a strange question😂
Hi I like your videos they are very informative,I'm almost your age and just now thinking of doing this as a career with covid that might put a damper on things. Going to watch ALL your videos I take notes I'm still trying to figure out what credentials I need to piercr in Denver Co. But your very professional and not hard to listen to Thank u
Yes but I don't think you can post photos in comments. You can try emailing it to me at davo@axiompiercing.com. However as you said, it's often hard to say from a photo.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing I got my daith done today, thanks to your video and quick responses! I emailed you a picture. Love it and so grateful for your videos! ❤️
Could you answer a question for me? I was born tongue tied but my parents never noticed so I never had my web cut. Could i get my tongue pierced normally? If not could I get venom?
In this video i learned that I have bizarre ears because i cant get my daith pierced but i could get a double rook if i wanted to lol (got a rook last week at a super reputable shop in my area)
Ear anatomy is so different from person to person. We don't really notice because we don't have often see our own ears. Glad found a piercer and enjoying a new piercing.
My lobes definitely flare out enough that you can see the triple piercings on both sides from the front. I'm lucky that my cheap mall piercings match pretty well!
Dude I'm tattooing and pirceing apperance I'm asking because it's showing me that iv learnt from alot more Attests then I have experience working with tattooing and pirceing Attests then my question is how is it possible for them on wish to check out this I think you're going to find out more information please look into it
My question is why do some people over sensationalized a peirceing baced intiraly on price rather than a persons reason for getting that particular piercing or tattoo design why should we as a Artest do we decided on the price of a problem or the solution with comes at any risk
You should try threadless labret posts. A little more challenging to change but more variety and security. Plus no end hanging out of the bottom of your nostril.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing thank you. I’m wondering if I can get a Labret in a 22g as that’s what I’m wearing right now. I don’t want a big hole in my nose so I decided to downsize and wear a very indiscreet gem in my nose. It’s so tiny the dental hygienist missed it and it showed up on an X-ray 🤣. But whatever, right! I’m an older generation X and I just want the youthful ones to love what they decide to do and don’t forget about us older fanatic’s that are still out there……..we lead the way in our day 🙂. Now it’s your guys turn😉 (Millennials) .
The thinnest I've found are 20g threadless labret. However there is only a slight difference in size between 20 & 22, I'm sure it would slide right in.
If your helix is folded over where it’s like there are two different ridges on top of the other that can’t be separated, would a helix not be possible there/look wierd?
@@rachelzielinski5432 If the tissue is connected completely and the flap can't be lifted then yes you are not a good candidate. However, if the flap can be lifted, it might be possible to pierce it.
My ears are actually so small, it's embarrassing. There's literally nothing there to pierce. And all the ridges in my ear are really subtle so there's nothing to pierce there either. They also lay like, almost completely flat against my head and they look weird.
I dont know if im lucky i have dumbo ears or not lmao. I can see my lobes and most of my ear. But i have next to no anti helix for some reason. Ive heard its a “protruding ear” thing. But yeah, its nice to be able to see my piercings because i love them and i like being reminded of them. But i look bad with short hair and, when my piercer measured my lobes and pierced them, at home i noticed they were like 3mm off and it drove me nuts. It made me so upset i drove quite a long time to go and get it redone by another piercer. The funny thing is i only noticed how off they were until i got my second lobe piercings. Ive had my left lobe pierced like 5 times if you count every time a needle went through it lmao. That sucked ass
You always have to consider that both ears are slightly different in size and shape. So, often it's more about making them look like they match than measuring them out and marking them.
What is an outrageous amount in your opinion? Because I found a piercing place that I love but I know they’re overcharging for jewellery... which I get, I mean they have to make money somehow but it just makes me think I’ll only go there for my more difficult piercings... because I don’t think close to $90 AU minimum for a lobe piercing is fair, the material just doesn’t cost that much...
It comes down to three things, the experience of the piercer, the quality of the jewelry and the market they are in. If their location, for example if their studio is in a high end retail area, you are paying more for their overhead than their skill and the quality if the jewelry. Also are they marketing themselves as something exclusive then they are. Is it more about branding and fashion than about clean, safe, and well done piercings. Personally with base jewelry I charge $50 - $65 for one lobe and $90 - $120 for a pair and that includes jewelry. I've always wanted my prices to be within reach of the average person. Many studios feel that by charging more they are less likely to have to deal with people that won't take care of their piercings and don't consider it an art. Basically the "riff raff". Also there is this thinking that if you pay more, you are going to take better care of the piercing.
Body Piercing & Tattooing fair enough, I guess I’m just coming from the perspective of seeing a lot of teenagers just do it themselves and trying to convince them to pay $100 to get it done properly is difficult when from they just pick up a sewing needle, boil it, stab themselves, and then it heals okay. So in their mind it’s more expedient to just do it at home
You would be surprised how many ear lobes I do on a weekly bases. Usually women between the ages of 18-35. Most have one set already and had a bad experience getting them done with an ear piercing device. I've also seen an increase in teens and parents that are more educated about piercings. Either mom or dad is pierced and they insist that their child is pierced correctly.
It really depends on the anatomy and its impossible to say without seeing the area first hand. If course piercings on the edges of the ears is easier. Piercings like lobes, Conch, tragus, upper ear cartilage, etc...
Hey DaVo, HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you, your family and friends! Yeah, I know what you mean about individual ear anatomy. I very recently went to my piercer, who I trust to pierce me(& my daughter) RIGHT. Anyway, after my daughter recently got her septum pierced, I wanted an anti-tragus piercing. But since I already have QUADRUPLE-pierced earlobes, he REFUSED to do it! He said that I already have a LOT goin' on with my lobe piercings and he thinks that an anti-tragus would cause me problems. So, I've GIVEN UP on the idea of getting anymore type of ear piercings. However, I am a little DISAPPOINTED.
You know that the day after I made this video a lady came in that you could clearly see both at the same time. It's like I was daring the universe. Let's just say it's rare that you can see both.

I understand what you went through. Coworkers can ruin even the best job. I don't think it's much different than any job but with body art it's often worse. Lots of free spirits are attracted to the industry but what they don't realize is it doesn't give them the right to be a full on ass. I'm lucky to have worked with a lot of great people. In fact I really have a great connection professional with the crew we have right now. Sure they can be bone heads at times but not any more than your average person. The thing is they all know when to be professional and how to have while doing it. As far as FLA, I've only been there twice. Both times flew straight into Orlando, went WDW and then back to the airport. So I have very little experience of FLA outside of Disney World. Which I have to admit is by far my favorite vacation destination. However if I head down there I will let you know.

Yeah it sucks and I have to say I'm usually just as disappointed as the client.
This happened to me because my rook shelves are massive...but I ended up with a gorgeous rook piercing a few years later, instead. :)
I hated my industrial, if you have long hair it is a nightmare and also if you're a side sleeper

I don't have the anatomy for an industrial piercing either. Bumpy top part of my ear. When people talk about getting a flat, I barely have anything flat on the top of my ear. But I have plenty of places to pierce!
Yes, often there might be a piercing or look that just isn't possible with others.
Man you sound like the unicorn of ear piercing clients and damn lucky. Thank you for sharing your experience and watching.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Every piercing is different and heals differently.
a week ago i got my industrial pierced but 3 days after i went to a more experienced piercer to get my bar bigger because i knew what i had in was too small.
I'd rather try to save the piercing and then remove the jewelry if a problem comes up.
my friend has a jewellery that is bent like an L and it has healed really good and it looks good too
Yes, often the jewelry is bent to match the angle of the piercings.
Thank you for sharing your experience and watching.
Thank you for sharing your experience and for watching.
I love watching your videos. You deserve more views and subscribers!
I wanted a daith (not for migraine but because i like the location) but my ear isn't supporting that type of piercing, so i got the rook instead! 😊
Congratulations on your new piercing!!!
If you ever travel to east Tennessee I want a piercing from you! If I'm ever passing by your area I will definitely by asking for an appointment!
Well, I rarely piercing when traveling but if I ever do, I will announce it on here. If you are ever in the area, feel free to set up an appointment or if things get to normal feel free to just stop by the studio and visiting.
Thank you for watching.
I have a friend whom you can see both lobes at the same time, her ears suits her well she's adorable c:
There are a few out there. I will tell you it makes my job easier when you can.
Love your videos! Wish for this you would discuss cartilage vs non-cartilage piercings.
Glad to hear that you enjoyed the video. I'm guessing that you are asking a ear lobe vs the rest of the ear. Because all the others are through thicker cartilage.
I actually just learned about it differently but your ears, the left and right are intentionally different, and it helps us pick up sound better.
I just got my second holes on my lobes, I plan to get a third hole on my left ear to finish the orbital. I hope my piercer says I have enough room for it because my ears are kind of small
It all comes down to anatomy and being able to line up the two piercings.
When you get the other ear pierced, mention the issue you had with the other. It might be a placement issue more than getting it knocked around.
My ears stick out like that :’) so when I got 2 new upper lobes i could easily see it but my friend kept complaining that she couldn’t.
My son wants to get his ear pierced; first time... I want to show him where it would be apx... I was told told that the 2nd lobe piercing should be 8mm from the center of the first hole, so, my question is how would I measure where to put that first hole?...
I'm sure the professional piercer that does the piercing will know what location will work best.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing okay! Thanks!
I just got my right conch done a month ago & I love it ❤
This was really helpful, thank you so much👍🏾
You are welcome and glad you found the video helpful.
Hi, how come when I wear my tongue ring it messes up my speech? Did they put it in too forward?
I'm glad you found the video helpful and thank you for watching. Let us know what you decide on?
i want to get an industrial, but i’m afraid my ears stick out too much or aren’t curved enough.. is there any ear anatomy that won’t work with an industrial?
The piercing and jewelry will need to fit into your anatomy. The biggest factors are that the helix ridge and the helix flap need to be pronounced enough and there needs to be a line that doesn't have contact with the flat area of the ear.
I am so happy I watched this.
Glad to hear you are enjoying the video and thank you for watching.
Ok so i’ll just show up at ur shop and ask for what i can actually get done bc i can’t tell myself LMAO
Yes, that is usually the best way. You can really see your ear clearly. Feel free to stop by anytime. Even if you are not wanting the piercing that day, I'm happy to give you a consultation.
I'm open Thursdays through Mondays 2-8pm.
Thanks for debunking the “custom” constellation piercings! 🙏appreciate that honesty
You are welcome. I mean yes I can suggest a lot of piercings and jewelry that are going to look great but they are still all established piercings and the jewelry is mass produced. You are welcome and thank you for watching.
I have outward ears kinda and wanted to know if there was any piercing that would bend my ear slightly back like a snuck or something :(?
I'm not sure how that work. The last thing you want while the piercing is healing, is to put pressure on the piercing.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing Thanks
Question😣
If a person is addicted to touching and playing with their ears will that habit disappear if they got cartilage piercings? Same with belly button piercing if a person want that just to force themselves to sit straight all the time will that piercing help? I know that might be a strange question😂
Usually piercings will change your habits to a degree but you need the discipline to make it work.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing thank you so much.💖

Hi I like your videos they are very informative,I'm almost your age and just now thinking of doing this as a career with covid that might put a damper on things. Going to watch ALL your videos I take notes I'm still trying to figure out what credentials I need to piercr in Denver Co. But your very professional and not hard to listen to Thank u
If I post a picture of my left ear, is there any way you could tell me if a daith would likely work? I do realize the pictures aren’t the best...
Yes but I don't think you can post photos in comments. You can try emailing it to me at davo@axiompiercing.com. However as you said, it's often hard to say from a photo.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing thank you! Email sent. Your videos are always informative!
You're welcome and I already replied.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing thanks! Wish I was close to you to get my piercings!
@@BodyPiercingTattooing I got my daith done today, thanks to your video and quick responses! I emailed you a picture. Love it and so grateful for your videos! ❤️
I don't know if I can have triple lobe piercing. I don't think I have enough lobe.
I would suggest scheduling a consultation with your piercer and have them take a look.
With 3 lobe piercings where the 3rd kind of gets close to the the cartilage, is a conch possible?
Yes in most cases a Conch should be an issue.
How would I know if I can get an industrial piercing just by looking at my ear so I don't get disappointed when I can't get one?
The ridge on the outside of your ear called the helix needs to be large enough to support the piercing.
Could you answer a question for me? I was born tongue tied but my parents never noticed so I never had my web cut. Could i get my tongue pierced normally? If not could I get venom?
Midline is more than likely not possible. Venom may not work either and you would find the piercing very uncomfortable.
Brilliant 🙌
Thank you and thank you for watching.
My lobes definitely flare out enough that you can see the triple piercings on both sides from the front. I'm lucky that my cheap mall piercings match pretty well!
What's you opinion on Tragus to Ant-tragus orbital piercings? Are they a good idea or not?
It all comes down to your anatomy and if the angle of the two matches. It's why it is not common.
If it's possible, is it advisable to get them done at once?
I would suggest it to make sure that they match.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing I appreciate you so much for taking the time to respond and help. Thank you! Have a great day.
You're welcome and good luck
Dude I'm tattooing and pirceing apperance I'm asking because it's showing me that iv learnt from alot more Attests then I have experience working with tattooing and pirceing Attests then my question is how is it possible for them on wish to check out this I think you're going to find out more information please look into it
Auto correct kicked my butt on that comments
Funny it is meant to make it easier and it does this. So what was you question?
My question is why do some people over sensationalized a peirceing baced intiraly on price rather than a persons reason for getting that particular piercing or tattoo design why should we as a Artest do we decided on the price of a problem or the solution with comes at any risk
I get my nose screw custom twisted because I have thin nostrils
What if my anatomy is different on each ear is it typical for someone to get different piercings on each ear
If your helix is folded over where it’s like there are two different ridges on top of the other that can’t be separated, would a helix not be possible there/look wierd?
It's hard to say without seeing the area first hand. Your anatomy will dictate where the piercing can be and what jewelry will look and work best.
Ok thanks. I did some research last night and I think a developed helix fold is a more suitable name
@@rachelzielinski5432 If the tissue is connected completely and the flap can't be lifted then yes you are not a good candidate. However, if the flap can be lifted, it might be possible to pierce it.
I love watching your channel!
Thank you and I'm glad you are enjoying them.
Could you show pictures of what you would consider not to have the right anatomy for, please?
I'm planning something but I need to collect some photos and videos before hand. So there is a planned updated version of this video.
Ok but for just the Norma piercing on your ear lobe what is forming those rock things??????
Are you asking about bumps?
@@BodyPiercingTattooing no there are like little tiny rock type things that form in my ear when I put in my earrings and I don’t know why
It's hard to say without seeing the piercing first hand. It maybe an abscess or cyst. You should have your doctor take a look.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing ok that makes sense! Thank you!
You are welcome and thank you for watching.
My ears are actually so small, it's embarrassing. There's literally nothing there to pierce. And all the ridges in my ear are really subtle so there's nothing to pierce there either.
They also lay like, almost completely flat against my head and they look weird.
same lol its so disappointing 💔
Any recommendations for those of us who DO have Dumbo ears?
Thanks for the video, very helpful
You're welcome and I'm glad you found the video helpful.
I only have an industrial because not very many people can have the traditional industrial.
They are more rare than other ear piercings mainly because not everyone has the anatomy.
@@kiraveritas3060 I paid £35 for my lobes inc. Jewelry but I know that in general the UK piercing places are cheaper
Okay...u caught me. You're bait was irresistible...
I subscribed.
What about a lobe orbital? Can anyone get these? I was told my lobe isn't flat enough, is this true?
Excellent!
What are the best piercings for small ears?
It really depends on the anatomy and its impossible to say without seeing the area first hand. If course piercings on the edges of the ears is easier. Piercings like lobes, Conch, tragus, upper ear cartilage, etc...
The industrial I always wanted but never could have 🥺
That's the case for a lot of people including myself.
Happy Holidays Saffire.
Yeah, it sucks when you don't have a the space but it's always better then a piercing with a bunch of issues.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing Do you think that I should just go try to have it done at another piercing parlor instead or just listen to my piercer, Jason?
