The flow on that brush is very interesting, and it just so happens the primary ingredient still grows out of my head. Diy'able. :) Thankyou for all the ideas!

Merci d'avance.

I am glad you mentioned that you lightly sketched out the design…I’ve been wondering if using a pencil for that is ok and if it burns away in the pit fire.

I have some of my clay that is coming from a pond bank pure and no levitating some that.I did out of a clay bank at a native American quarries area. It also needs no work except adding sand at about 10 to 20. Percent. All clay test are good 5 percent shrink elasticity no cracks on twist at all even in the cork screwed dry or wet . ROB

I've got two dogs that grow long fine hair, I just cut some long fur and use that tied to a chopstick. The fur seems to make a slight feathers edge. Does human hair make tighter/ crisper lines? I never tried human. Myby I'll have to try now.

Hi good video. Wondering what if anything you are using as a binder in your slip paint to adhere the slip to the pot?

Hey Tony..nice work your doing.. Can add the manganese to some red slip to become black.. Does this fire ok ?.. Having probs with plant based paint. Will try with sunflower in summer.. Cheers from France

Manganese 75 percent, 25 percent copper carbonate and just enough brown ball clay to make it stick 😜

Hi , I usually use about 10 or 20 percent clay , and only certain types of clay for the black to keep it black . You can use organic binders if you are using a fruit or glaze minerals.

Rob Smith I think it is the clay I dig or make. I’ve had people send me their clay and I thought theirs was just terrible stuff.

Rob Smith also try mixing them together, you can have two clay bodies that don’t work well , mix them together and you get something nice. I’m hoping to make a clay making video soon. How are you making your clay , levitation is the best for plasticity. Grinding clay it won’t be as plastic
