The intention of regulating or formalizing the second hand car markets with keeping prices up, will motivate customers to only purchase new cars. I guess this is the real face. The second hand car market needs a platform free from any middleman or formal institution.

I have a suggestion: can you try to give a walk around of various variants of new cars or latest cars…..this will give us a clear visual view to select a variant and a model…..

True value guys are great .........very good at ripping customers ....I have gone to sell my old Honda City they called it for 75000 I sold it to hyundai dealership for 140000 .....than hyundai dealer sold my car for 160000 in front of me ......to a locall car dealer 🤣🤣🤣🤣 maruti rock's 🙏

Many cars sold in True Value are not True Value Certified. Should we also consider buying True Value non certified cars also ?

but after getting out i checked its kept for 5lakh on true value app.

I have gone to true value many times.
Cars with accident running till deep into engine bay with suspension pillars having been clearly rebuilt are shown as non accidental. Cars having run 40000 km are atleast on second set of tires, which too are running out.
When pointed, the idiot will say a set of tires last 20000 km.
Then they ask upto 85% price of new car. When you point they are asking too much, the dirty salesmen are told to tell people that you don't have the aukat to buy this car.

Sir i have visited true value in allahabad (up) 2 days back. I have selected an altok10 2017 model 13000 km driven price was 3.30lacs. The condition was very good. We were almost to purchase that. But When we asked abt the warranty they said there is no warranty in truevalue.
maybe its because there are 2 type of cars there

No Sir Ground level reality is something else, tried buying alto from True Value price was 1.5 lakhs more than what market demanded me and quality of car was so much degraded.
A car which had 10owners and was rolled once had its roof dented and painted did 68k kms and they were asking 1.65 lakhs for 2014 model

Yes, we were there together to cover this on an invitation from Maruti Suzuki. We don't know about Ask CarGuru, but we have not taken anything from Maruti Suzuki for this video. This video educates prospective used car buyers about who should buy a pre-owned car from True Value & who should not. Additionally, at select places in the video, we have carefully mentioned all organised pre-owned marketplaces and not just True Value.

I had bought swift ldi 2008 model in 2014 from True Value
After some months of usage car started giving problems.
I was a kid back then and didn't understand what exactly the problem was but I went with my father to a known mechanic and then got to know that many parts had been welded and were losing their grip with time.
If it was some small part then we could have ignored but major components which were directly connected to chassis had been welded.
I remember the mechanic telling something
"Bhaai saab axel welded hai"
At that time I had no clue what he was saying
Now I know that I should not buy from True Value and not to take videos of this channel seriously

Kartik, Used car has lot of spams. True value only reduces likelihood of such issue cars, but yeah they might also fool us. Learnt a bit about chassis welding from comment, thanks for that

@@inpursuitofhappiness366 I don't know why it was welded because it was our first time buying a second hand car and that too from a reputed dealer i.e. True Value
I was too young back then to understand what exactly our mechanic was trying to convey
But I remember he said that
"Axel welded hai aur sahi se nhi kiya hai repairing"
Then my father replied
"Humne toh showroom se kharida hai fir bhi welded aa gaya.... Ajeeb baat hai"
And also as we didn't had any experience in owning a car so we didn't even gave a look at tyres
And one day on highway at 120kmph with 5 people in car
The front right tyre's upper layer was removed because of heat on highway (cement roads)
The upper layer literally flew in the air and I saw from my rear seat's right window.
Luckily we had a very skilled driver and he managed to control the car.
This was completely our mistake that we didn't check on tyres.
As you said you have a trusted mechanic, that's great but make sure he is experienced too.
All this axel things that happened with me require highly experienced mechanic to inspect. Trusted person would try his best to inspect but at the end if even he doesn't know what problems to check on....then even he will inspect just like you
